Centrally located. Room clean & fine. Nice , small pool. Only real complaint - NONE of the machines worked in the small fitness room

Upon checking into the hotel, I was greeted by a very nice man. It took him all of 45 seconds to pull up my reservation and get me my room key, which was nice because I checked in pretty late at night, and was tired after a long day. We were in the area for a family event. The hotel was pleasant, clean, and adequate as a place to rest your head after being out all day. Decor a bit dated, breakfast was good, pool warm&small but fine for a dip.

Excellent. Have had spotty experiences with Comfort Inns in the past but this one was great. Was able to rearrange 3 rooms amongst our group, got extra towels easily, hotel was quiet, parking was ample, breakfast was above average.

The hotel met my needs as I was only there one night to settle a real estate transaction. The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. Several restaurants were nearby so it made my dinner hour less hectic since it was a cold, rainy, and foggy night. The only negative I had was the pillows were too hard and it made it uncomfortable to sleep.

I spent a long time reading reviews of hotels and checking prices to find somewhere nice and cheap to stay, I went with the comfort inn, for a king per night it's 89 cheaper than most in the area and very nice. For our holiday visit with family and friends, Comfort Inn worked out for us to stay at. We needed someplace mainly for sleeping at. If we had planned our schedules better, would of used the pool and work out room. Nice that the room had a frig and microwave.

I agree with other reviews that there could be better signage. It's tucked back and a little tricky to get to. Everything else was fine. We got a kick out of the popcorn in the lobby. And breakfast was good.

Stay away! Hallway and room reeked of stale smoke since only half of the floor was non smoking. Breakfast buffet disappointing in both quality and selection. Room AC unit was loud and hard to regulate. Will not stay here again.

The bathroom wall had remnants of vomit on the wall.At checkout next morning, desk clerk discounted my complaint by saying that the rooms were inspected after cleaning, essentially calling me a liar. I will never return.

Had a great two days there. We had two rooms with two queen beds in each. only thing was one of them was a smoking room and we were supposed to get two non-smoking rooms. They didn't have two nonsmoking rooms for both days even though that was what I booked and paid for. Not a big deal and really appreciated the fact they accepted pets.

Pillows were very flat, and bed was less than comfortable. I stay in over 50+ hotels a year and usually have low expectations, but the bed was just dreadful. I also usually remember to iron before heading out but simply did not have time this trip, so I had to use the hotel iron. What a joke. Extremely clean with comfortable beds. Continental breakfast was amazing with fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, and lots of extras. A nice change from the bagels and coffee routine. Good restaurants and shopping adjacent to hotel. Close to downtown Crystal Lake and Metra.

Check in and out was a breeze. Pool was small however only the kids where going to use it. Continental breakfast was good and kept up thru out the enitre time. Only problem was bathroom door in room would not close more then 3/4. when notified front desk was advised they were aware of the issue and it's on the maintenance list.
