"Amazing Price -- Two Block from the Beach!"
The Venezia was a cute, clean, basic little hotel. Pleasant patio for breakfast. Just a two block walk to the beach to walk in the sand or jog on the boardwalk. The traffic outside was quite noisy. I slept 3 hours. There were mini blinds, but no shades or drapes, and it was too light in the room. The lamps were rusty and the inside rims of the shades were filthy. Need to be tossed and replaced.They could fix most of the problems with just a few dollars. We did not mind staying in this two-star hotel, yet I find myself wondering if they could have done better. Of course, they could...they have three more stars to fill. The hotel is very cheap and old, need of a renovation. Breakfast was very poor so I skipped it. A/C is very loud so if you are a light sleeper this is going to be a problem. You have to park your car on the street. It is 1 dollar per hour. And its free during some time in the night. The hotel is not a 5 star hotel so i wasn't expecting a mint on my pillow.. The hotel surved it's purpose, somewhere to hold my stuff and in close proximity to the beach. The price was good for a night in miami if you want to save money however there was 3 beds in our room and they where horrible to sleep on they made lots of noise and one of them would sink in really bad, the carpet smelled horrible and it looked dirty, the batroom was the only nice thing in the room but there was no towels available, I guess you have […] to request them, and this was an inconvinience because we where in a rush to shower and go out. The breakfast was ok, they only have a terrace with a few tables where you can sit down and eat, the tables and chairs are pretty old and rusty.
