Reserved a room for the night of an OU home game. Easily accessible via Sooner Road heading north out of Norman. Nice facility. Large comfortable rooms, great beds, good bathroom. Even though the price for a room at this hotel seems to be a little high to me, I have to say that I have not traveled very often in the past 3-4 years, so I really don't know what it takes to get a nice room. My wife and I decided to cough up the extra money for this hotel because of the good reviews here and the poor reviews at the other hotels in […] this area. But, the cost was certainly worth it. Our king bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. And the breakfast was really good with eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits, gravy, and the normal continental breakfast items. Over all, we just had to give it a 5. We were in town for a reunion, so we did not spend any time in the pool, so can't help anyone there. Read more

Cleaning staff took all the sheets from the hide-a-bed after the first night and left us with 8 pillowcases... not really sure how that happened but overall a good stay. I would recommend, and will probably use again in the future.

The room was nice, but my husband slept in a chair because the sheet made his itch and I had very sore skin the next day I had very sore skin from sleeping on the sheets, also the towels was washed in some soap that made my husband itch even worse. Easy access from I-40, located next to other major hotels/conference center with a Home Depot and a Walmart across the streets. Free breakfast was great, and room was completely clean. The only noticeable issue was the hot tub was under repair, although the indoor pool remained open. I also enjoyed the free WiFi. Great value.

Did not want to leave, everything was cozy! Extra-large room with fridge, microwave, flat screen tv, king bed, desk, sofa, coffee table, delux chair. Really enjoyed my stay. My conference was next door and Walmart was right across the street. free wifi! Love that!!

We stayed here as a fairly large group (3 rooms, 11 people). The breakfast was very good for a free continental (lots of variety and some hot items to choose from.) They kept the items replenished as necessary and were very nice about it. The pool is adequate and the kids had fun there. One complaint, is they do not keep the towels in the pool area […] replenished as needed. Our rooms were VERY nice for the price- cleaning was great and the staff extremely friendly the entire time. Our overall experience with this place was excellent & the location was so close to the OKC zoo! The rooms were clean & extra amenities were provided (plates, cups, silverware). The only downfall would be that one of our rooms weren't ready for check in when we arrived at 4 PM. I plan to use this same Holiday Inn for our next trip through OKC.

First let me state this particular reservation/stay was purchased for my elderly grandparents who were coming to visit and my choice in which hotel they would stay at was in mind with their needs in mind. This was a very nice hotel and very convienantly located. I can not think of one bad thing to say about the room, the facilities, or the staff. The […] later than normal check in time was very nice also. One very big complememt is the gentle man at check in was very friendly and caring when we arrived, as we walked up and before we could finish saying who we were he said he knew and handed us the room key right away. He then asked if there was any special needs or anything else he could take care of for us. My grandparents were extremly thrilled with the service and mentioned it was one of the best welcomes they have ever received, this from a couple who have been on several cruises and numerous trips in their past. My only complaint is who defined them as having a "resteraunt on site", this was THE main factor in choosing this hotel over a competitor. My expectation was a resteraunt either in the hotel or as a detached building, what they had was a self service hot extended continental breakfast bar with a pancake machine being the only part actually made from scratch (so to speak versus warmed up prepared food) apart from the fresh fruit. My belief of a resteruant on site was my deciding factor with the thought of having a decent dinner after checking in after driving 8 1/2 hours to get there. If I had known the actual status of the so called "resteraunt on site" I would have chosen a differant hotel down the street and saved a few dollars and knowing we would have to drive somewhere to eat. All in all the stay was enjoyable, the room was fantastic, the staff was friendly and caring. The only complaint is in the advertising/description of the hotel presented by hotel.com and/or Holiday Inn Express itself. Read more
