The hotel was very nice. It was very convenient to where we were going the next day. Staff were all friendly and professional. When we first arrived, we discovered out TV didn't work. We called the front desk and someone was there right away to take care of it. The room was very nice. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom looked like it had […] been updated, except for the shower and tub. The tub was a spa tub and the jets looked like they were yellowing. The outside of the tub had some sort of yellow something splattered on it (possibly glue?). The shower pan looked old. There were 2 different shower heads. I wanted to use the one on the wall and while showering, the rain head started putting out cold water. Didn't feel too good. There were fire pits outside at night where you could sit with your family and make s'mores (you had to buy the s'more kits for $5.00 each). We ate the breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant the next morning. Nothing special. Most of the food was barely warm. Two of us ordered omelets. The omelets were good, but very small. I would stay at this hotel again, but not eat the breakfast buffet. Overall, a good experience. Read more

Hotel is attractive and the room and linens were very clean and pleasing in appearance. The lobby and the outdoor/pool area was very impressive. We stayed at the Hilton while attending nearby wedding festivities at the nearby Hyatt Resort. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Room was clean, ready on time, had appropriate toiletries, and was big enough. Complaints: no wifi in the room (does it really cost that much to extend the lobby wifi to the rooms?), no free breakfast […] or even coffee, and the noise level was AWFUL. I was staying at the Hilton on a business trip. It was very relaxing as I enjoyed room service (the food was excellent) while sitting on my balcony watching the outdoor movie. I could not have asked for a better way to top off my hectic business day.

I would definitely stay here again, however there were a few issues with the room that I would like to see remedied. The closet ceiling seemed to be and access point to some plumbing and the tile grid was loose and barley hanging on. Also there was an access hole cut in the ceiling above the shower that the cosmetic plastic cover does not fully conceal […] meaning that you are showering under a small area of exposed ceiling. When i went to turn the shower on i also found that the handle was caked up with some kind of soap (at least i hope it was soap) that crumbled into my hand. A couple of small issues but enough to be noticed. The stay however was great and the property is really nice and we would definitely return. The room is cozy and well designed. This trip was for my husband and i just to get away and relax. The hotel was very nice and comfortable. I would stay here again. I just wished my room had a fridge and a microwave. But other than that it was a good experience.

My husband and I stayed here for one night for our anniversary. We arrived around 4:30, we checked in and got the keys to our room, however we WERE NOT escorted to our room... We stayed on the 5th floor with one king bed. The room was pretty dusty and the tub wasn't very clean, there was hair in the drain. When we pulled the covers back on the bed, […] there were what appeared to be blood stains on the bottom sheet and the edge of the top sheet... I called down to the desk and told them we had stains on our sheets which looked like blood, the guy said "Well that's weird... Ill send housekeeping up to change them" and I asked for her to also bring an extra pillow. She came about 30 minutes later and handed them to me. She didn't change them... Just handed them to me. So I took them and they were queen size, not king. So I went down to to the front desk and spoke to the man and told him "I called and asked for a sheet change, and the housekeeper handed them to me, am I expected to change dirty sheets on my stay here?" His reply was "Well I can have her change them if you want?" And I said yes and he called them to go change Them and apologized insincerely. Not very good service for a "Resort" hotel. But housekeeping did come and change them 15 minutes later while they both talked to each other in Chinese the whole time. Our toilet also wouldn't flush and kept clogging. All in all, our stay wasn't very good based on the customer service we received, definitely not worth 159$.. Read more

It was my first time staying in San Antonio and I had a wonderful time. I booked the hotel in advance and got a great rate. My girlfriend and I received outstanding service while we where there. I left an expensive item in the bathroom, I realized it when I returned home that evening. I called right away and was told to call in the morning when the housekepping supervisor returns. I spoke with them first thing in the morning and stated they would check on it for me. They called back and stated nothing was found. THe itiem was a large 32 oz […] bottle that was heavy, no way it could have just disappeared in less than 24 hours. Then they called back and stated the houskeeper threw it away. They stated they would get back to me later that day aafter the talk about what happened. Still have not heard form them and now it is Wed, the last time I spoek to them was early afternoon on Monday. I am disappointed with the custmer service. Read more

Beautiful grounds, the only problems I encountered was the restaurant bringing me out a rare steak I ordered medium, and my side order was what my husband ordered for his steak. They need to check the ac system because we turned ours down to 60 but it remained stuffy. Other than that, it was a great experience.

I don't know if we'll be staying here again unless we plan a trip to Sea World. Considering we were there for the rodeo it was a bit out of the way but not inconvinient. The hotel itself was very nice and our room was comforatable. The food service and food itself was pretty terrible though. We spent $60 on room service Friday night that wasn't good […] and served cold. The next day, we tried breakfast in the Sun Spot Lounge, service was horrible. It took 20 minutes for us to place our order, they were understaffed, and the buffet was cold. We also heard a waitress yell at a customer who was simply asking a question. Don't think we'll ever use the food service at the hotel, there are plenty of surrounding restaurants we could visit. Read more

Was not aware that booking through Hotels.com would forfiet my Hilton Honors points. Also wait on check in was horrible as was the room cleanliness, Room A/C was not great never got to desired temp. This hotel went above and beyond for our family. We took a trip to San Antonio for my daughter's birthday, the whole trip was to go to Sea World. We found out that it was not open due to a BBQ Cook off but the hotel concierge David was amazing. He made sure we had a list of other fun things to do, he left birthday balloons and a card and flowers for […] my daughter as well as had a special chocolate cake made for her birthday. the hotel itself was nice. the rates are very reasonable. the location is secluded but within range of all attractions. the rooms are not kept up. I found a urine stain in the sheets. housekeeping brought us sheets within 5 minutes of calling for assistance. room was very dusty and carpet had obviously not been vacuumed. we reserved a room with ample […] time before arriving. Friendly front desk reception. Stingy on bathroom supplies: Tissue box had 2 pieces of tissues left, 1 roll of toilet paper and not a spare on site, 1 trash can in a King suit room and only 3 towels. We had to request for another tissue box, toiletries and additional garbage can. We ordered room service for breakfast, 20 min. later we only got the beverages. […] We were told that someone took our food tray and we had to wait another 20 min for another breakfast to be cooked. The breakfast was overpriced for the little amt they gave us. That was the only meal we ate in the hotel since other affordable eating places are within close proximity. Everything went well. When I checked in the lady pointed out the restaurant and mentioned that it was complimentary breakfast. After having imaginary complimentary breakfast it turns up it wasn't included. I went to the front desk to verify and they couldn't help me. So, always double check before you fall like I did.

I was pleased to get a good price to stay at this Hilton. My travel company did a good job. Prices were good, the hotel was great, outside was really appealing. I had some problems when I checked in, the room door was ajared, and the front desk didn't know why, I can only assume the staff left it that way because they were not through. There were no […] face towels in the room and we only got some when they cleaned the next day. I used the extra blanket the second night, I left it on the bed, alone with a sweater I was wearing, the next day after the room was cleaned, I found the sweater in the folded blanket. It seems that the room was not vacuumed on Dec. 31st, I noted stuff on the floor. I need to say that my grandson enjoyed our stay, where he played basketball and swimmed each day we stayed. We enjoyed our stay, however there were a few issues. First, no minifridge in the room without paying for one, daily. Never in all my travels have I encountered this. More importantly, there was at least one towel in the room that was stained with what appeared to be blood. Lastly the restaurant should not be limited to the Bar area for dinner.

It was nice being so close to the park. The shuttle service was very convenient. Loved how dark the rooms are for sleeping. The kids slept later than usual which we really appreciated. Earlier this year we stayed at Hyatt. Your hotel cost less and just as nice. We will stay there again.
