Location.
Situated in Victoria, Paul's Motor Inn is close to Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, British Columbia Parliament Building, and The McPherson Playhouse. Also nearby are Market Square and Maritime Museum of British Columbia.
Hotel Features.
The hotel offers a restaurant. Additional amenities include laundry facilities and dry cleaning/laundry services. Guest parking is complimentary. This is a smoke-free property.

"Good for the price"
Our stay was good. The staff were very pleasant, the location was close to downtown (walking distance), and the room was clean. Basically you are getting what you pay for here, though they really need to upgrade the pillows in this place, as I have never seen such tiny hotel pillows in my life! Woke up with a sore neck. "Worked well"
It was a great location, with friendly staff. Restaurant onsite. Overall it was definitely worth the money we paid!
"Nice bit of nostalgia for an affordable price"
Enjoyed my stay at Paul's. Fantastic history on the place. the coffee shop is fantastic. The room was clean but furnishings were sparse. No air conditioning but the hotel provided a fan. Close to the action but not in it. I only stayed one night and the room was intended just for sleeping.
"Great stay for the price"
If you're looking for a 4 star hotel at a 2 star price, this isn't it. If you're looking for an inexpensive stay with suitable accommodations this should exceed your expectations. I read over all the other opinions before booking this property and when I showed up, I found it to exceed what I expected for the price. I don't know what some of the others […] were complaining about. You never get more than you pay for unless it's your lucky day! I thought the personnell were quite accommodating and the room was more than I expected for the super low price. I was quite happy to have stayed there. Read more
"Most uncomfortable bed I have ever laid on."
It was like a lightly-cushioned slab of concrete. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant though.

Paul's is nice inexpensive place to stay. The attatched restaurant serves great meals and bar is a great place to relax in. It is a great vintage motel.
The front desk was very friendly and made me feel welcome room clean. TV pretty small.

The room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable. However, at 2 a.m. there was an awful caterwauling of an apparently drunken woman yelling obscenities for about 10 minutes - more than enough to disturb sleep of all around. "Low Budget Quality"
Paul's Motor Inn is clean, convenient and not up-scale. I highly recommend requesting a room in the Courtyard; it is the hidden gem of this Inn and would certainly be beautiful in the summer. Overall, you can't go wrong with Paul's, unless you're used to staying in posh hotels.
"too noisy"
As our room was facing the road and parking lot, it woke me up 2 times as someone spoke too loud and someone honk the horn in midnight.

Paul's is a good location for the price, it was clean and comfy, it would be good if they had air conditioning though.
"A moderate hotel"
It's OK however you should be lucky to get a friendly staff at the reception. Some of them are ok but some are absolutely rude and unfriendly. The room was ok but not very clean.

my stay in Pauls motor inn is awesome. id like to come back on summer to do some stuff and feel the warm weather....and walk with my flip flops again with my friends.

Very basic and in need of renovation eg the only wash basin was in the small kitchenette (none in bathroom). Quite a noisy location on a main road. Recorded variously as 2 and 3 star facility (3 star placard on display at reception). "Niets mis mee"
Redelijk ruime kamer, riante parkeerplaats aan de rand van downtown Victoria. Misverstand over boeking van kamer op de verdieping in plaats van op de begane grond werd snel en zonder gedoe opgelost
