"Great Location, Beautiful Hotel"

I had a wonderful stay at Marriott Pattaya Resort. I stayed on the top floor with a beautiful view of the ocean. Great location close enough to walking street if that's your thing as well as attached to a shopping mall if it's not. Beautiful courtyard and pool area. WARNING: This has nothing to do with the hotel but be aware of locals along the beach trying to sell drugs and the like. You will run across this throughout the area but the beach across from the hotel is a bit saturated. Guard your belongings and do not sit your cell phone down, you'll have it taken and I'm speaking from experience. Even with the stolen cell I still had a wonderful time. I will most likely stay here when I return.

I have stayed here several times. It is very close to shopping, Beach Road and Walking Street. The decor by the pool is almost like a hidden paradise. There has always been a problem with small insects in the room (this time it was ants). There was some construction going on next door, so this may have made them more active on this stay. Suffice it to say, you should use the mosquito spray in your luggage before you repack and leave. The hotel is adjacent to the Royal Gardens shopping mall, which is very convenient. The gym is very complete and there are tennis courts.
