The amenities are minimal and the breakfast fresh but entirely consists of carbs. When I mentioned a slow-raining tub, it was fixed later that day. The mattress was too hard for me. I liked that is is quiet and they keep is very clean.

They need to purchase better beds, bedding, pillows. Their thin Carmel colored blankets were ripped, sheets were no longer white, pillow stuffing was all bunched up and knotty. Very uncomfortable. Would never return.

Our room had to be changed when we arrived because the room was filthy. The floor had not been vacuumed and there were used face cloths in the bathroom and on the floor. TV channels didn't match guide card. Channel change took up to a minute each. Breakfast was among the worst: powdered cake doughnuts, mini muffins (bad), bagels or bread toasted was the fare--not much and not good. This hotel was not worth the price.

I think this hotel is over priced for what it is. Very unprofesional at the front desk. Centipede in the bathroom, and the carpeting in the room was filthy. Glad I didn't have to be there long. Next year I will try a hotle across the street.

Paper thin walls combined with a view of the highway (including traffic noise) made for a short night's sleep. The free breakfast was worthless with weak coffee, no juice, frozen Eggo waffles and hostess donuts. They really should just skip the breakfast. The toilet was clogged when I arrived and I could not use it. Someone had to come and fix it. The WI FI was not working and the girl behind the front desk said it was fine. She then invited me to go back and reset the router. I was very very disappointed in the whole stay at this hotel.

Great staff. continental breakfast was o.k. Great location close to Faribault's nature center which was great and close to the colleges in Northfield. Handicapped room worked real well. Great price and value.

We stayed just overnight and got in late. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. However, the bathroom did not appear to have had any more than a qucik once over. The room is extremely small, reminded me of being in a closet. The TV is placed above the wardrobe at an agnle where you need to reach the remote way over your head to change the channel. […] The walls seemed really thin. you could clearly hear people in the hallway even though they were using a normal speaking voice. The conrinental breakafas was just that. For the price we paid for the room, I expected a larger, nicer, quieter room, with a better breakfast. I booked this hotel about four months in advance. Upon arrival, we were given confirmation that we had ordered a non-smoking room. However when we got to the room the smoke smell was absolutely overwhelming. There were also ash trays in both the bedroom and bathroom confirming our suspicions that this was definitely a smoking room. When we complained […] to the front desk and asked politely if we could possibly be moved to a non-smoking room that didn't reek we were told that the hotel was completely booked up and we were out of luck. I booked this hotel knowing that it wa cheaper than most around. i went there with the idea that I wanted a place that was cheap that I could get a decent night's sleep. We have stayed at this Days Inn a number of times in the past. When we arrived this time, the weather was bad, it was below zero windchills, snowing terribly and very late. We checked in fine, the room was as expected, but the heat in the room had obviously been turned off for days, and it was in the neighborhood of 45-50 degrees in our rooms...we had […] two and the heat was off in both. The wall unit heating was struggling to keep up, and it took a solid 3-4 hours before it brought the room to a reasonable temperature. I went to the front desk to request more blankets only to find they were out. My guess is ours was not an isolated problem. You would think during the winter, that you would have the heat on at least a little to keep the rooms from freezing. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and been pleased. This time, however, there was a very strong small of cigarette smoke in the hallway outside my room, which also came into the room. I don't know if people were smoking in the hallway or if there was not enough separation between smoking and non-smoking rooms. The good- I left a pair of shoes behind and the hotel is going to send them to me in the mail.Convenient location. Pet friendly. The bad- Older, small room, smelly hallway even though I was in a non-smoking room. The blanket on the bed had something black and crusty on it.
