I was ultimately divided about my stay at this hotel: the front desk and shuttle van staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. However, the hotel had some problems. First, I had to switch rooms because the heater in the first room did not work. Second, I went down to grab some soup to go from the hotel restaurant, and found the restaurant to […] be unsanitary and unpleasant. I had to search for someone to take my order, and the bartender I eventually located was rude. I realized when I returned to my room that I did not have a spoon, and I called down to request one. The man who brought up my spoon was holding it in filthy gloves--I had just seen him cleaning the floor downstairs in the same gloves, and it didn't look like he had washed them at all before touching my spoon. I've never had a problem with any of the Hilton Garden Inns until now, but they were very minor in my eyes. Overall the stay was great as usual and just what I expected. The first problem I had was the walls were paper thin because I could my neighbor's entire conversation and they were really not that loud. Second problem I had was now they changed […] how you get back onto W. Nursery Dr. Now you have to go down to the next block if you want to head back towards the airport without getting back on the highway. Sucks during morning and afternoon work commute. Third was the sink was not draining properly. There was one night where the water stayed in the sink the entire night. Every time I used it I had to play with drain lever to make sure it drained and it took forever. Besides those points my stay was perfect because the staff was great as usual and my bed was GREAT! Hotel location, quality of service and room cleanliness were all high points. The staff gave us driving instructions to the nearest shopping mall ( the name of the mall escapes me now) and the mall had everything. And if you like gambling, theres even a casino near by.
