Perfect location for anything at City Field. We were able to walk to the Cirque Tent and the bar was open when we got back. Great time.

We were stranded at LaGuardia Airport overnight, due to a cancelled flight so this wasn't a planned or scheduled stay. The staff was gracious and accommodating, the room comfortable and clean and the attached restaurant was generous and affordable. The free shuttle to and from the airport was a wonderful plus and very convenient.

The front desk people are the best . Tandeka helped us and made us feel at home. Rooms are ok . The location is about 30 mins from the city but you can get a flat rate cab for $46.00 bucks each way. Best hotel service ever. They are all nice there.

Very convenient location, close to the airport and Subways. Although you do not hear the noise of the Subways. Very clean and friendly staff and free drop off to and from the the airport. Would recommend to every one !

I was glad I decided to stay here rather than an expensive hotel in the city - the quality was definitely perfectly fine, and since I wasn't going to spend any time in the neighborhood, the location was perfect. And the service was probably more friendly than in most Manhattan hotels.

Me, my wife and our 5 years old daughter stayed in this hotel for 2 days. Really its an wonderful experience. The rooms, bed, rest room and everything was very clean and beyond the standards. Definitely I would love to stay in this hotel again. But there is no complimentary break fast available in this hotel. No free parking available.

Location is perfect if you're flying in/out of LaGuardia. Catching a cab to the city however doesn't seem possible -- said only option was to take a limo, which is pricey. Better to go back to the airport. Taxi didn't have a clue how to find the hotel so went back to the airport and then caught the shuttle. Restaurant on site with large selection; food […] is ok. Service people were very nice. The room was very acceptable - it's an older hotel so not new but is well kept up. It took them five calls and over an hour to pick me up... It was about 95 degrees out too... In a suit, that is hot! Finally they told me that I was waiting in the wrong place... I was where all the hotel shuttles pick up customers (I saw each hotel come by at least 4 times). Rather, I was suppose to be at the departure level... God to know and wish […] they told me this before. When I got up stair, there was not a soul was up there. Finally the van showed up. I stayed here because of convenience having flown in late that night and needed to get a good night rest, other hotels were booked and price was OK. Hotel was tired and not what I was expecting. They would not call me a cab, but rather call me a towncar that would cost me about $50 to the city. Since I am formerly from NYC, it just took the subway a few blocks away... For $2.50. That was the best deal I got all day. Next time, I will spend the extra $300 for a place in the city. Stupid decision on my part in trying to save my client some money by staying at a holiday inn express. Read more

My boyfriend and I love to stay here when we go to Citifield. It is just so much easier than having to drive back to Long Island. The people at the front desk are always so pleasant and helpful. You will not find any good restaurant in 5-10 miles radius except hotel's own Italian restaurant. They will serve you only Italian dishes. It will take 1 hour for you to go to the Times Square, not a good location if you want to commute everyday.

We stayed 4 days while we visited NY for vacation. The hotel was nice with only a couple of items to mention. I felt the carpet in the hallways needed to be replaced and our room was suppose to be non-smoking but it seemed like it use to be smoking due to the smell still present.

First, the Holiday Inn La Guardia Airport is misnamed. It is really not proximate to the airport, but a few miles away. There are many hotels closer to the airport. However, It is a 15 minute stroll to Citi Field if you are from out of town and want to take in a Mets game. It is also a longer walk into the Chinese section of Flushing. If you want a […] taste of Asia, without the intense congestion of Chinatown in Manhattan, this is worth a walk around for a good meal, and perhaps, a massage. The hotel was comfortable and reasonably priced. Breakfast not included. Downside was the lack of shelf space in the small bathroom, and a very slow drain in the bathtub. I have stayed in several hotels in this area, and this is the one offering good value and comfort. It is closer to a 2.5 star hotel, but on a good day and good room, it makes 3.0. Read more

Proximity to the train station is great, though you will find yourself walking through a rough neighborhood, especially at night. I would suggest taking the hotel shuttle to the train station if you are traveling with children. There is not a taxi pickup option at the hotel, but the hotel shuttle will take you to the airport.
