It was nice and would come again. Hotel was wonderful but the concierge did not contact us until we checked out after being there 3 nights, our room was great except the dust ruffle had some pretty nasty stains, spills or squits of something all over it and really needed to be washed, and our room was great...mattresses, bedding and pillows were fabulous. Only way to improve on the rooms comfort is to have Queen or king beds, BUT PLEASE USE THE SAME MATTRESSES AND PILLOWS. The woman who serviced our room was terrific!!!!! I forgot and did not tell her about the dust ruffle. It would be nice if there were microwaves and small refrigerators inall the rooms. We enjoyed our stay, but in the summer after being in the sun we need larger beds...But, I'd come back in the fall or winter months when the prices go down (off season).

My key complaint was the combining of services between the Sleep Inn and the Quality Suites. Breakfast was a nightmare, and you could never make good use of the indoor pool. Other than that, the rooms were clean, and our rate was decent enough for the area.

I use to live in Virginia and always wanted to stay at this hotel. Well it is the PITS! No one is happy to be at work everyone was dry and BLAH. Not accomadating to say the least and very disappointing. My stay was from Friday to Tuesday the indoor pool was ICE COLD, the rooms were nasty hand prints ring around tub and a CONDOM left on the floor and […] it was there for a while! When I informed the front desk Lorraine (who had a badge on that says 10yrs of service) just looked at me like so what and said, "sorry" Nathen the front desk manager did not even look up. When we tried to call the front desk at 1am to advise them of the condom the PHONE did not even work!! Come on Lake Wright you can do soooo much better! The neighbor in the adjoining room was VERY loud and the front desk was called 3 times to address the noise. It was addressed by an off-duty policeman. The walls are paper thin so if possible, request a non-adjoining room.

Brought my family along for a business trip, with business in downtown Norfolk...just a short drive, no problems. Hallways a little noisy late at night and a packed breakfast area are my only complaints. Loved the big shower!

We got to the hotel late at night but they were expecting us and had everything in place. We met up with our other family members there and started our reunion right away. We had access to ice and drinks and food. The staff were very helpful and had me checked out before our early morning departure. Very professional and we had a good time.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The free breakfast with your was tasty and they had plenty of options to choose from. I am so glad that they had an indoor pool since it rained pretty much the whole weekend. Va Beach was close enough to drive to and you save about $100 per night instead of staying at the oceanfront.

The hotel is located at a relatively nicer neighborhood surrounded by a lake and lots of trees. You can directly take I-64 -> I-264 to get to the beach in 15 min. Complementary breakfast is awesome. We picked this up as a last minute thing to spend a night. We asked for a non smoking room and it was labeled as such. But when we walked in, it reeked of old smoke. It was a converted from a smoking room. And the rest of the conversion wasn't done right as well. The shower door did not close so water flowed out of the shower. The service from the front desk and restaurant was VERY good. My room was cleaned very well, but one thing might have been forgotten here and there. The shower head was not working but was fixed that same day. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, my room and the convenience of the location of the hotel.

Cleanliness of the hotel was good. Staff members were pretty bland at the front desk; good in the restaurant. Some punk kid pulled the fire alarm so that was annoying... But they do allow pets - so that's a plus. I would stay there again if in the area. Location of hotel extremely convenient to Outer Banks. Great rate off Hotels.com!
