The rooms were nice and the food was good. But the music in the bar is so loud you cannot even sleep. It vibrates the entire room and is so loud that you hear every song clearly!

Poor guest experience from staff on arrival, during stay and at check out. Why have staff working at Pershing who dislike their employer and it's guests?

Attractive hotel and lovely room. Unfortunately, my stay was let down by having a room on the street side with numerous deliveries through the early hours resulting in very little sleep. I mentioned this when checking out and it was shrugged off as being unusual. Was not overly impressed by this response.

"Brunch or not brunch..."
05/18/15 GManners Amsteram
I can't review the hotel, never used it, but I had a brunch there not so long ago. It's a far fetch from what I expected. The choice of what is offered is varied, but it's substantially industrial preparation. I have to admit, it's not expensive and the location is nice, so I would not say not to go there, but just be prepared, it's anything from what you would expect in Paris.

"Really poor value"
04/24/15 Parisa366 London, United Kingdom
We have stayed in many hotels in the 8th district over the years and have just returned from a 2 night stay in Pershing Hall. It was by far the worst hotel we have stayed in for the amount paid. (900 euros) We had a junior suite with terrace. Room size was good but terrace unusable as it was filthy, garden debris all over the floor and overgrown weeds in the flower tubs; with two old upholstered chairs again dirty and out in all weather. The sofas inside the room were old, stained and very shabby. The mini bar fridge didn't work and it took until late in day 2 for someone to attend to open the electrical cupboard and re-set the fuse. The hotel lacked management and any form of customer care. Take our advice, stay elsewhere.

"Very well located hotel - Nice Design - But might need a small refurbishment and couple of modifications"
04/15/15 Dim M Zug, Switzerland
Dont get me wrong, this hotel is really nice. The location is perfect as it lays in the "Triangle d'Or" so close to major shopping and sightseeing. however, it is not really a hotel in the sense of having a big lobby, having a doorman or lots of staff around. The lobby is tiny but the design is nice and there areinteresting pieces of art displayed. However, it seems like the hotel is understaffed. Room service past a certain hour is delivered by the night receptionist. The food choice is limited and the night we ordered, there was only 1 plate left... Also at night, they close the front door and you need to ring a bell so that the night receptionist opens the door for you. This again shows that they dont want to bother with having someone stay at the door for the night. The keys of the rooms are old (actually there are keys no swipe cards etc..) so that u always need to leave the key at the reception and not get to loose it (sort of annoying). We had an upgrade to a suite which was nice. There was free water and a welcome champagne bottle which was appreciated. The bathroom is amazing, really big (the size basically of a 4 stars room in another parisian hotel). The bedroom was nice, but the main room lacked of warmth and cozyness. We would have axpected a little bit more of a star hotel. I would suggest the owner to redesign the rooms since the fourniture is a little bit outdated. One additional point. The rooms are facing the inner court yard and not the street. It is nice since the decoration of the inner court yard is the restaurant itself and this amazing green (with vegetation) wall. it is therefore also quiet. Breakfast can be taken any time you want (we took it at 3 pm) which is really nice for late night parties in Paris. Breakfast included in continental but more than enough. Sunday brunch is not included - they may want to extend that to the hotel guests against a small additional fee (20E) or so...

I was recently in a business event at the Pershing Hall Hotel, and I have to say that the ambience and the organization were perfect. All the personell was kind and available for any request. Will definetly check the rooms next time in Paris!

"Great Hotel with a Green Wall"
04/06/15 Will_Swagger San Francisco, California, United States
Pershing Hall is both a piece out of history - built by the Count de Paris as a townhouse, it is an archetypal piece of architecture in Empire style. The staff are both friendly and efficient, and are very good with the little french that i'm able to muster. The restaurant is amazing - and the garden wall (yes, wall) is amazing - it runs from he ground to the room in the atrium. I've stayed twice so far, and each time is amazing - a one of a kind boutique hotel to say the least.

"Kitchen Nightmares...."
03/17/15 sacha054 Manchester, United Kingdom
I'll start by the positives: Visually, this is an impressive venue. Thats where it stops. I can quite honestly say, my experience was one of the worst meals I have ever encountered. the website describes the food a "fusion"...I'm not sure if this was a typo on "frozen." We ordered the platter...which, to compare it to Iceland, would be doing Iceland an injustice. It was quite simply inedible. The restaurant doesnt know what it is...serving everything from Dim Sum to club sandwiches. The interior shouts Buddha Bar...but I left wanting a Burger Bar. Its a pity, as with such an interior, this place should be packed. The lack of other customer says everything. The staff were friendly enough...but as for the kitchen staff...they should be ashamed of themselves. Quite simply...by far THE WORST meal in Paris... A wasted venue.

"10 years and still trending!"

A great hotel in a superb location in one of Paris' most happening areas. Top bar with DJ, great cocktails and a superb champagne list await the customer here. Nice rooms and suites. Coming to this hotel frequently over the last years, i have stayed in all the different roomtypes. All good, although the standard room might be a bit small. Restaurant is beautiful and the staff friendly. Good to see the same people when you come back!

"Nothing (Good) to Write Home About"
12/07/14 TripGuido Berlin, Germany
This used to be a great place with good design and service. Not anymore. The only thing still great is the wall garden in the atrium. You can enjoy watching the plants while you wait for the waitor to slowly start noticing you and eventually bring your order. Not at all the kind of attention you would like to get when you are in an alledged five-star hotel. Our room was quite noisy and seemed a bit worn down, too. We are used to small hotel rooms in Paris, though probably not in a hotel category of this sort. What worried us more was that the decoration was just not nicely done and all the furniture seemed to be a bit "aged", but not in a good way. The bed was comfortable, though, and the shower at least had ample space. Very small cupboards and not much storage space. Not even a lamp by your bedside for reading - you have to get up and walk across the room to switch of everything - great that the room is so small... So, all in all, there are better finds in Paris - certainly at this price point.

"Hip hotel"
12/03/14 Gaye A Istanbul, Turkey
This a very nicely located hotel with an easy access in and out while shopping or enjoying the cafes and restaurants. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation, this is definitely not the place to stay for you. It's a hop hotel with a very nice bar that turns to a club at late night. Great DJ's and lovely atmosphere in the bar. You have to ask for a room that is away from the noise since the bar goes on until very early morning hours and is always packed. Mr. Tamer Tumer from the reservations is a wonderful young man who tries to help for all your restaurant bookings and anything you might need. Very friendly service.
