Smoke through the bathroom ventilation system was a huge detractor - and enough so that despite the cleanliness of the room and the great rate, we will not be staying at the Super 8 Brattlboro again. I have a suggestion: make the hotel smoke-free!

First night okay, second night, the quests over us on the second floor when they can in about 10:30 sounded like they were moving furniture, very noisy and then again early in the morning, again the same conditions. The sound proofing between floors is terrible.

Very friendly staff, willing to please. Hotel was clean, except we did find a flea in our room. Only found the one, but doesn't mean there aren't more. The hotel allows pets, which is a plus, and we had no problem with anyone's pets. The hallways did smell a little like smoke, which was a little bothersome, but you could not smell it once you entered […] your room. Breakfast was decent. Belgian waffles were a plus, oatmeal, cereal, toast, apples, oranges, and individually wrapped cinnamon rolls were also available. Coffee, milk, and orange juice were also available. Location is right next to a McDonals, KFC, Taco Bell, Dunkin Doughnuts, Wendy's, and a Friendly's if you don't want hotel breakfast. This hotel is in a great location......short drive into Brattleboro Center, and right off exit 3 of I 91. Wonderful breakfast and Coffee from 6AM-11AM. You cannot beat the price. My only suggestion would be to have a sign on the building as you enter the parking lot that directs you to the Office Entrance.

There was a strange, sulphuric smell coming from the toilet/water pipes when flushing the toilet or turning on the sink. After a few minutes the smell would fade.

My room was huge as was the bed. The breakfasts had ample choices. Only complaint I had was the amount of smoking odor in the lobby. My room was non-smoking so that was okay.

This was a Super 8, so we went in expecting about what we got. This was a simple overnight stay, not a luxury vacation. The room was clean and the front desk attendant polite and friendly without being overly chatty. She answered my questions and got the paperwork done with minimal fuss. We had a quiet night and checked out in the morning.

The hotel entrance was oddly located on the side and in the center of the building. It was also poorly posted. The room was alright aside from the obnoxiously loud heating system which woke me up a few times throughout the night. I'm guessing it was some sort of inner coil expanding as the temp raised. Did its job! Clean room smelled good bed was comfortable. Was a good layover on our way to Okemo not a bad breakfast in the morning. Easy to get too off of Interstate 91. Would definitely stay there again..
