When I got to the hotel I was charged an extra fee because I wanted to check in early and the front desk personnel could not explain to me why this was the case. The room was small and outdated for the price I paid and there were no amenities. Compared to the surrounding hotels this hotel should not have been in the same vicinity.

This is a nice and clean hotel for cheap! We stayed another night at the same price because we liked it so much. This place had plenty of parking and was easy to get back to without much familiarity with Plano. I would certainly reccomend this! The free internet and television cable in the section of the hotel we were in did not work. The hotel is convenient to the hospital in that area and the businesses and shops on Preston Road.

Stayed here because it was cheap, but the cleaning crew did not replace fresh towels when they cleaned the room. Took the dirty ones but never put new ones in. Also took a while for them to bring new ones when calling the front office. The breakfast was subpar, but can't complain too much since it was cheap compared to others in the area.

No hot water for 3 straight nights. So, 3 nights of cold showers. When we brought that up to management, they said, it's cold outside and there is nothing they could do about it. Really, most days the average temperature was over 70 degrees. Don't waste your money.

Several days at this location the hot water was off completely all day. This was an inconvenience because we had to drive miles to go shower some place else. This should never happen when you are paying to lodge. If I am paying for quality, that is what I expect, quality service.

I stayed at the motel for three days on business. The room was spacious, well appointed and maintained and kept as clean as I could have wanted. The kitchenette (cabinets) was dated but the rest of the room was very nice. My only complaint would be that the breakfast left plenty to be desired. Belgian waffles was about it. I really liked this hotel but there are couple of points worth mentioning. There is no access control to the building. Anybody can just walk to the room as all the room as exterior. As such everything else is very nice. Expedia incorrectly shows this hotel as having a full kitchen but there is a kitchenette only that has a Microwave and a Refrigerator. […] The maintenance people are great. the hotel was very clean and the room was nice although a bit hot for my comfort. Since it was winter when I visited the ac wasn't working. The breakfast was OK. Cereal, oatmeal a few danishes but they did have a waffle maker so if you have kids they will be thrilled. There was some fresh fruit but lots of coffee, milk and juice. My bags were lost on […] my trip and the front desk staff was very helpful in making sure I had them delivered and held onto them until I arrived. The only problem I had was the location. It is behind another hotel and is very difficult to see from the road. Although the pizza delivery guy found it just fine my friends that came to pick me had a hard time. The facility was in good condition and the price was excellent. We scheduled for 3 people in a suite, but did not have enough pillows or blankets to turn the sleeper sofa into a bed. One tiny shampoo for 3 people. Called for more blankets and shampoo, and they said, "You're welcome to come here and get them."

I stayed for 4 nights and for the price I found it to be a great value. The room was clean and well organized. I would recommend for anyone needing a goodnight sleep. If you are looking for extra bells and whistles I would not. The hotel is all about basics and practicallity. The location was covenient for the Plano/ Frisco area.

An advertising guy friend of my family used to handle the McDonalds account locally. He told us, "you can always count on McDonalds when you're travelling, to have an 'average' hamburger." He was right. It's never gonna be 'great.' Or even 'good.' But it's predictable. Safe. Boring. Average. The same is true for Quality Inns. My definition of "quality" […] differs a bit from the hotel's - I'm not looking for luxury, but I'd like a room a little less cramped, and a lot less boring. Certainly, I think they could afford to keep up things like a shower curtain rod mounted too low, and sagging from the wall. But aside from a few minor nits like that, the room was in a safe part of town, and was reasonably priced, clean, and offered no surprises. One plus - no extra charge for WiFi. Far too many hotels (both run-of-the-mill and luxury) seem to think that offering free WiFi in the lobby is acceptable, whereas they can gouge you with an extra fee for WiFi in the room. I would rather they take out the phone system in each room and increase their WiFi speed. This hotel offered WiFi in the room at no extra cost. Mind you, it wasn't FAST WiFi, but it was free. Which neatly sums up my entire point of view on the room - nothing to write home about, but it got the job done. Read more

The hotel is well located and is a clean hotel. The only thing I didnt like is the breakfast. If you go a little late you won't find anything to eat anymore. They don't have a great variety, which is ok, but if during the weekend is a lot of people you won't get anything at all.

This particular QI was on the campus of Baylor Hospital Plano. I chose this because of price and location, and was surprised at how quiet the location was. We took an upgrade to a mini-suite on arrival (for a slight upcharge), and was pleased with the additional room, but surprised to find a full-size refrigerator and microwave, but no utensils, dishes […] or microwave cookware. There was an elevator to reach the third floor (hotel has only 3 floors), but the elevator might have been as old as I am. Still, it worked; just not quickly or quietly. The staff was always helpful and available, and the breakfast was nice (how often do you see corned beef hash on the breakfast bar?). I will stay there again. Read more

I would stay at the Quality Inn again. I stayed 7 nights. My room was clean. The fabric furniture had no spots. The wood furniture had no dings and the sheets had no holes (recently learned not to take the latter for granted!). Functionally, the room was solid. It was clean and provided decent comfort for the low amount of money spent. The customer service was top notch, much better than some places I've stayed that cost 3-4x as much. The bed was okay comfort wise, not the best but not the worst. The bathroom looked like it was recently updated with granite counter tops, but […] the rest of the decor looked like it was straight from the 80's. The hotel was located in a business complex with several other hotels surrounding it, and just a few blocks away was a good food selection. Also very close access to Hwy 75, which was important to us. The biggest complaint, and really the hotel can do nothing about it, not to mention it's our own fault for not looking at the pictures better, is the doors to the room are on the OUTSIDE, making it possible for anyone to venture up and break into your room. We didn't have any problems, but it made my wife uneasy. She swears someone messed with the Do Not Disturb sign, although I think the wind blew it off the handle. The last thing I might mention is because it's a lower budget hotel, some of people staying at the hotel did look of questionable character. One specifically was a guy in the lobby upon our arrival that was arguing that their asking price per night was too much when he was just going to use the room for a few hours. Next time I would look for a hotel with doors on the inside to help ease my wife's concerns. But in a pinch, I would stay here again if push came to shove. It was a good bang for the buck, and in this price range I think you will be hard-pressed to find something better. Read more

I think it is a good value if you are not looking for a fancy stay. I rented 2 rooms and they were clean and comfortable except 1 of them had a bad odor. I have stayed twice and plan on staying again.
