"Stay Away - Choose another hotel."
I thought this would be a nice hotel going in, I was one of 2 guests in the hotel. Cheap built hotel, and hard beds, cheap pillows. Once in bed, I started itching. was not a good exp. I didnt get 5 min of sleep. Worst hotel in my life.

Close to highway but very quite. Worth calling for directions since it is tricky to find as you exit the highway. Staff was very friendly, indoor pool was nice and the breakfast was a bonus. "Watch Out For the Entrance"
The stay was good the motel very adequate,but watch out for the entrance because there is no signage out on the main street it is on so if you use gps it puts you right back on the tollway and you have at least 1.25 toll to pay to get back to the motel.Only bad thing about the trip. Thanks

"Hard to find"
The location shown on our reservation was NOT where the hotel is. It's very difficult to figure out how to get to the hotel. The gym is closed and that should have been noted on the hotel description.
"Pricing"
I have friends that stayed at the motel the same and got cheeper prices by at least 12% per night by using other internet sites or calling the motel direct. I used hotels.com and will not use it again.
My only complaint was that the bed was way too soft. When I laid on the edge, I felt like I was going to fall off, the sides of the mattress were so worn.
"Baymont Inn -- VERY pet friendly but obscure locat"
Highly recommended for travelling pets (and owners). Very modest room, and slightly mildewy bathroom, but big and tiled so I felt comfortable leaving the poops there when I left the room. Nice grass area around the hotel for the necessaries. Obscure location; behind a cinema. Call for directions. Breakfast and all-day coffee, B plus.

This hotel is just "eh", I wasn't displeased with anything, just wasn't all that impressed either. Room was spacious and clean, but just "eh".

Overall the hotel was satisfactory, the comforter and bottom sheet had rips. The bottom sheet wasn't changed during the stay. Staff were nice but didn't go out of there way to say hi or is there anything I can help you with. the staff was ok- there was one lady who went above and beyond her duties, but there were some lazy ones. to find the hotel was hard at night time- needs better lighting on street to get there- hotel seemed a little run down- breakfast was good- they need to keep up on the supplies and keeping it clean tho

"Leaves a lot to be desired"
Though the staff was SUPER nice. The hotel itself left a lot to be desired. It was really difficult to get to the entrance because of where it was situate. The rooms were clean enough but not very comfortable. The hotel itself smelled like stale smoke and the room despite being non-smoking also smelled of stale smoke. NOT worth the money!

"Great for the value"
The pool was clean and nice, the water warm. The elevator is small - almost claustrophobic. The breakfast was a great value and helped us considerably during our stay!
"Baymont not as sketchy as the surrounding building"
The first person I saw at the front desk had tremendous patience and customer service skills. Our room was clean and cool. The pool was small, but in good condition. The room smelled a little funky and one day they put wet sheets on the beds which made it very uncomfortable. Overall a good deal for the low price.

Overall we were satisfied with our stay at the Baymont. Breakfast is over early - 9:00 so if you're on vacation and trying to relax you still need to wake up in time to eat. The Hotel is off a frontage road of sorts which is hidden from plain view on the main road and a little confusing to find. The Baymont is a cheap hotel with fairly big rooms. Extremely hard to find! Had to go to the locals to find it. You have to drive behind an abandoned bldg next to the Tinseltown Theater. You think your in the driveway, but it's really a narrow road. Staff was friendly, had a nice indoor pool. Good breakfast, HBO and wireless internet. Overall general cleanliness okay. Something sprayed on TV and not wiped off. Chairs in the dining area had stained cloth seat covers. Tables in dining area scratched with beat up edges. Food was okay but the same every morning from fruit to sausage and old danish. "Good Choice"
This was my 1st time staying at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. I booked 9 rooms and we were all satisfied with the rooms. I was traveling with 9 different families and each famiy had a child 12years of age or younger. I enjoyed my stay here overall. The room was simple but comfortable and clean. It had all the amenities I needed. Breakfast was just okay. The eating area was too small and didn't have enough tables. I was suprised that the suite I was in had some nice amenities and the king-sized bed was very comfortable. Finding the hotel location was a bit confusion due to you have to go through a maze just to get to the hotel, but I will recommend the hotel to my family and friends. I think everyone that stays there sleeps during the day and up all night! People above us were stopping around til 4 am. Called front desk to complain and they said they would call them. "Great Place at the Chicago City Gates"
The Baymont is a well kept place off the Interstate into Chicago. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is fresh and the pool is as warm as a bathtub. We keep coming back each time we have business in Chicago.

"Baymont near I 88"
Very scary area. It is located near an abandoned movie theater in a bad part of town. The access road has probably not been paved in 30 years. As I looked out my hotel window, I saw a boarded-up, scary-looking Howard Johnson. The price is NOT worth it here--spend more and go somewhere else.

Hotel is a bit difficult to get into; you have to enter into the movie theater parking lot to access hotel driveway. Watch out for raised curb in middle of hotel driveway! We booked this hotel because we worked 4 miles from this location and there was a blizzard coming. Although we couldn't get out in the morning because of the blizzard the staff could not have been more helpful and accomodating!! No one was getting anywhere that morning and we worried about making check out and were told it was not a problem, whatever […] it took to make sure we were going to be safe and whatever help we needed to get our cars out. THIS WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE AT A HOTEL I HAVE EVER HAD. The price was so reasonable and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Room was very clean and the comfortable.
