We have stayed in this hotel before & always had excellent service. It is very clean & well maintained. We would definately stay there again.

The staff were friendly and made every attempt to make my stay convenient. The breakfast buffet is true to what other reviews are saying: waffles are great, and there's good variety. The pool and hot tub were clean. My first room (100) smelled like a wet dog, but the staff moved me without hesitation upon request. The second room (306) was clean, comfortable, and had a couch/lounge which rounded it out nicely. The only big issue I had was with the WiFi, which did not work the entire visit. I had stayed in the area for business for the weekend and was more than inconvenienced by the lack of effort to resolve this issue. Overall, Comfort Suites is a nice hotel at a reasonable price (with good breakfast) if you're on a social visit.

"Decent Place to Stay"

Only complaint was whoever was staying above us. It sounded like they were dropping bowling balls on the floor for hours. I tried to call the front desk several times and it kept routing me to an operator. I had to get up in the middle of the night to go to the front desk to complain that I couldn't sleep. They must have taken care of it, because the noise up stairs stopped until morning.

The hotel itself was good, but our room was like a sauna. We had the air conditioning on HighCool and we still felt like we were in a sauna. Unfortnately, nothing was done to fix this. Oh well, guess we wont stay at this hotel the next time!!!

Friendly service and prompt help when you needed it. The breakfast was good too. The fresh hot waffles was a nice surprise. The indoor pool was terrific in the early spring too.

The walls are very thin and you can hear your neighboor. Other than that the hotel was great, allowed pets which was a plus for us and breakfast was pretty decent.

Overall the stay was good. Good breakfast. Pool and hot tub was nice way to relax. The staff forgot to clean room after the 2nd day. Good location for day trips or downtown.

"Great room for the money"

We stayed one night with our grandchildren on our way to N. Carolina. There was plenty of room in our suite for us and three children. The pool provided entertainment and the complimentary hot breakfast in the morning proved to be a good value. Would definately stay again.

"Great Stay"

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I have never stayed in anything but 5 star Ritz hotels, so needless to say I was anxious about this stay. However, the hotel was very clean, the room was well-kept and had fresh, clean linens, the staff was friendly, and I had a very comfortable stay. Although it was located next to the highway, the room was very quiet and I slept well. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would not hesitate to stay in another Comfort Suites if my location required it. Well done CS Charleston!

We had a terrific experience. Our only complaint was that we had a change of plans at the last minute and we wanted to cancel and reschedule a Hotel closer to our new destination, We were not allowed to do so without paying a full nights fee. We were only staying for one night on our way home from Tennessee so it would have been very bad for us to have to pay for two rooms in two different cities for the same night. We did stay and it was very nice, we had to drive an extra hour each way to reach our friends we decided to visit.

A notice to all smokers ... No smoking within 25ft of the hotel. The pool was not operational but not due to the hotel. Contractor put wrong paint in pool and had to be redune. You could use the hotel next door pool if you wanted to. The breakfast was very good and yes they did have hot food and it was very good. I would stay there again.
