While advertised as a non-smoking room, it was very obvious that a smoker was in the room at some time...very unpleasant to non-smokers. Rooms need to be updated to the modern age.

We were just passing through. I like pillow-top beds, it wasn't. This is your old motel type, outside door room. It was OK but the best was the attached eating establishment and bar, great after a day on the road.

We moved from another hotel that was cleaning the pool and chemical smell throughout the hotel for days. We upgraded to an "executive" room and our outside door would not close tightly. The breakfast in the morning was cold. On the plus side, the room was comfortable as were the beds and the television was nice.

Thru expedia I reserved a king bed 3 days prior to arrival arrival, the hotel only had two double beds available and neither of the rooms had been cleaned. The person at the counter was not trained to handle the situation and the only resolution I was given was an upgraded room but it was going to cost more and I had already paid for the room on expedia. […] Luckily with a call to expedia, I was given the upgraded room that included a king bed at the same price. Maybe worth 25- 30.00 a night at best. My room was awful...not anything like pic / description. Was 70's decor, curtains were rotting!! Tube TV turn down the bed to find hairs on blankets! Other members of my party had nice rooms. Ugh!!! Have pics to prove it!!

Very old facility, and shows every year of it. Smells, heating/cooling systems noisy, ancient decor, tv from the 70 or 80s (no flat screen or clear picture here). Bathroom had no fan, and the door hardware was so decrepit that if you closed the door completely, one couldn't get out without help from someone one the other side of the door. "Complimentary […] hot breakfast" consisted of old biscuits and weak gravy. Nothing fresh or healthy in sight. Yes there was some about to expire yogurt and some bruised apples, not exactly appetizing.... There was also a "band" playing on the premises one night we were there, which we assumed was the reason for the four men standing outside our door drinking in the parking lot into the wee hours. My wife and daughter stayed here where we have stayed before, including my honeymoon night 28 years ago. The hotel itself has been upgraded and is nice. i had get get a room in a pinch and this hotel did nicely the staff was very friendly but the room did seem dated i had a smoking room it was the only option left and it smelt really clean i would not have guessed it was a smoking room. all in all its was a good room it could have been nicer but at least it felt like a safe facility

The new, refurbished rooms are a nice, comfortable addiition to an aging Country Inn. The old, smoking rooms are not acceptable for a stay here. The front desk help was slow and inexperienced until the supervisor came in at 3pm. Service improved at that point. The courtyard pool area is spacious, but aging and needs an upgrade. The hotel only shows online its executive rooms. The actual rooms have doors to the outside and the whole place is extremely run down and need of a ton of repairs. Pets are allowed in all the "regular" rooms so if you have any allergies like I do this may be a huge problem. The rooms look like something out of a bad 1970's movie and are in need of many […] updates. We didn't even stay one night. I took one look at the room and walked back out. The pool is nice (outdoor) but the hours are limited from 9-9. The room we had was lousy. Every noise outside our room came right in, including the teens playing baseball at 1am in the central courtyard. The hotel did nothing until I called. The pool area is the main attraction to this hotel. The breakfast was above average. The mattress was very soft and was the one thing that I found disappointing. Having a recliner in the king size bed room was a nice touch. It was a good value for the money.

While the room seemed clean, that is the only positive thing. All the furnishings and fixtures were worn and some were broken. It appears that rooms are being updated -- the TV was new and lobby was very nice. But if you get a room that has not been fully updated it is depressing at best - nothing like the pictures on the Expedia web site.

The room was fine for our purposes, but it was a little small. We also upgraded to what was referred to as 2 queen beds. They were clearly not queens, though they were comfortable. There were almonds on the floor our first night, and a soaked bath mat we left in the tub to be cleaned, was returned to the bathroom, still wet. The room is not clean at all, the toilet was filty you could see day light around the door when it is closed. Also the pillows are about a inch thick and not very comfortable at all. The price we paid in my opinon is about twice as much as we should have paid.

Had some difficulty checking in. Front desk said we reserved 2 rooms. We had our print out sheet with us. They said on-line bookings often come in double. I don't know about that nor understand. We had reserved a King non-smoking and were given a King smoking. Called front desk and they said to come up and they'd give us a non-smoking. At first they […] wanted to give us a non-smoking double. We stated that we had booked a Non-Smoking King and that's what we wanted. We were then given the Non-Smoking King. Didn't think that hassle should have occurred. Our reservation print out specifically stated the King Non-Smoking room and that's what we had paid for. After that, all went well. We were staying there with others who were in town to attend a 50 year high school reunion and we enjoyed being together. Read more
