We stayed a this location for a night so that we could get to Busch Gardens early and head home afterwards. The hotel is cheap, which is was great for our purposes, but we would not choose to stay here for more than one night. I wouldn't stay here again. It wasn't very clean or tidy. The best part was the continental breakfast to help start your day. A good value if you are going to a theme park and only plan on a place to rest your head. My chairs had stains, the bathroom was poorly cleaned.

The hotel was clean and relatively comfortable. The beds were a good size (queen, not double) and there was no odor in the room. The bathroom, while a bit old and beat-up, was clean, and we had a coffee maker, microwave, fridge and television, none of which we used. The parking was decidedly inconvenient - there was no parking anywhere near a door, it was all poorly lit and in the middle of a wooded area, so it was scary at night with small children. It is literally a few hundred feet from a pancake place, which was nice, and for the price, it was perfect for just a place to sleep while we spent our days and evenings at Busch Gardens. Read more

Only compliant we have is that mc donalds next door would not honor the offer on room key when we tried to us it. the offer was buy one large sandwich get one of equal or less value get one free. we came back to motel and told them and was told to go talk to the manager at mc donalds which was a waste of our time. so, we figure they should not make […] an offer they will not try to honor. The hotel was decent, the staff very friendly. The room was clean and was stocked with all the usual convenience items, i.e. coffee, soap, shampoo. The only complaint I have is that the continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was minimal items to choose from, cereal and bread for toast, and although there was coffee, there were no other […] beverages offered. My 8 yr old stepson was with us, so this was a problem. Fortunately there is a McDonald's right next to the hotel, so we opted to go there the first morning, and decided to hit the Ihop the second morning. We did not have a nice experience at this hotel. The man that checked us in was casual and rude. He kept telling the guy ahead of us that the rate was non-refundable. I think he told him five or six times, like the man was going to try and pull some kind of stunt. This same man called us after checking into our room to see if everything was fine and […] hung up on me when I gave my response. The paint and wall paper were peeling, the tiles were broken, the bed was so sunken in that my husband and I kept rolling into the middle. The other guests were rude. We heard someone poudning on another guests door all through the night, (we're talking 11 p.m., 2 a.m., 5:30 a.m.) and someone was playing VERY loud music from their car at 5:30 a.m. We won't be back. Great deal for the price. Room was clean and comfortable. Close to where we needed to be for a soccer weekend. Staff was friendly and provided for what we asked. Was probably a grand hotel 15 yrs. ago, but still ok.

We went with a school group and were focused on a cheap place to stay. I was pleased that the hotel had an indoor pool. That was, in fact, one of the reasons I booked it. Then we got there and the indoor pool wasn't open until Memorial Day. The ice machine on our floor didn't work. I had to go to another floor for ice and vending. That was just annoying. […] Although I didn't notice, everyone else in our group reported that the hotel smelled bad. The smoking smell did seem to seep out of the smoking rooms a bit. But the breakfast was the biggest disappointment of them all. It was two cereals, some old pastries, and white bread. There was coffee and juice but no hot water for tea. And I couldn't make my own cu of tea in my room because the coffee maker was not clean. So, all in all, it's not a scary place to stay. It's clean. The location is fine. (There is a McDonald's right beside it where we ended u getting breakfast.) If price is you top priority, go for it. Just don't expect much else. Read more

We booked this hotel under the impression they had an indoor pool, but upon arrival, we discovered their pool is still closed during the winter because it is not heated. We had to change rooms upon check-in because the room the clerk assigned to us had McDonalds bags/drinks in it and someone had clearly layed on both beds and watched tv. The hotel is […] old and in some places, the building is literally falling apart; it needs to be renovated. The breakfast is horrible, we ate there two mornings, but went elsewhere the other two. Breakfast is nothing more that two cereals, oatmeal, some fruit, and dried-up pastries and toast. Yuck! The actual room itself was okay, but it just needs updated. The staff's attitude basically seemed like they didn't really care if you stayed there or not. I was very pleased with the price of this hotel. It was very convenient to be located within walking distance to the outlet mall and within a short driving distance to the other outlets. It was everything as advertised- microwave, refrigerator, internet, simple breakfast. This is an older hotel which has not been maintained over the years - and what "maintenance" has been done is unprofessional and of poor quality. For example, the push bar at the back entrance had been broken off of the door and maintenance attempted to glue it back on, unsuccessfully. Also, most of the floors did not have working ice machines. As for […] the room, it was clean enough but, there was a layer of dust across the headboard and on top of the TV cabinet. The jacuzzi tub, which is listed in the amenities, did not work and the microwave listed in the amenities was not in the room. -- Overall, I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. We stayed there in Oct. of last year and came back for the Grand Illumination this year because we were pleased last year. This year we were very disappointed. Carpeting was very dirty. We were supposedly in a smoke free room, but all you could smell the whole time was stale smoke. Why have an indoor pool if it is closed in the winter time? Our bedspreads […] had huge holes and tears in them and our blankets had burn holes in them. The person taking care of our room did not vacuum daily. They just came in with clean towels and made the bed. The elevators were filthy. Someon must have spit on the doors and they were not cleaned until the 4th day we were there. The hotel claimed that the reservation was overbooked by Expedia and that they did not have two king beds that were joining rooms. We had to take two rooms with double beds instead. We asked the front desk for some additional paper cups and we were told we would have to come down and get them.

The water in the shower was barely lukewarm. I went to call for a wakeup call and the phone didn't work. There was some strange looking mold in the corner of the room on the carpet. Funny smell overall. About what you'd expect for the price. Passable if you are on a budget.
