We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much that we extended our stay. The view of the foothills was calming and beautiful. Quality staff and everything else! We were delighted. The affordable options in this area are limited, and this is one of the better ones for the price. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, & breakfast was ok. My mattress was uneven and sloped to the middle... just average for a hotel in this price range.

We were traveling last week on college visits with the family and booked two rooms a night at three different Sleep Inns in Virginia and North Carolina. They were all great! Clean rooms, safe neighborhoods, good free breakfast and friendly staff. We're going to seek out Sleep Inns from now on as a great affordable, nice hotel!

I have stayed at both the sleep-in and wingate in Lynchburg. I found Sleep-In to be a much better value, if you can deal with the absence of the pool and hot tub. Pros: Comfy bed, clean room, friendly staff. Cons: thin walls, bad coffee, tiny shower/bathroom, college style furniture, no shuttle. Nice hotel. Selected based on posted reviews and my expectations were met. Staff was very friendly and room was a decent size and clean. It had a refrigerator which was a plus. Breakfast was good but nothing fancy. My only issue was that the heating unit was pretty noisy.

This was a great hotel that was close to campus but far enough away to seem like you're not on top of it. Close to shops for eating and browsing. Second stay hear in past two years just as before this stay was very good. Room was clean and well kept building was also clean and well kept. Location is great, breakfast was nice. Young lady at checkin needs a little work on cutomer service skills but she was very young. Overall excellent choice will stay there again.

Usually stay at a "long term" hotel in Lynchburg for the kitchenette, but have had occasional rowdy neighbors, and this was similarly priced and located, plus had a "hot breakfast" included. Room was smaller than at Extended Stay, but better temperature control, was nicely maintained and comfortable. Breakfast had a decent selection, though the "hot" part was toasters for bagles, toaster-waffles, toaster-french-toast. I love staying at Sleep Inn when I come up to Lynchburg, Va for class. The young lady that checks me in every time I come in greets by name before I check in. The room is ALWAYS clean and fresh. The only con I had this particular weekend is that I could hear the guy talking on the phone in the room next to me. The walls are very thin.

Nice, but not fancy. Clean and kept up.Breakfast was OK but not special. I was there to sleep, shower and change my clothes. It was fine for what I was looking for, but if I had planned to spend many daylight hours just hanging out it was missing those extra things in the room that really make a nice Hotel.
