The only thing was the room was cold and on check in and took a long time to heat in the morning shower was cold. The location of the hotel was great for us so clean and receiptionist was lovely and helpfull.

Stayed 3 nights, there is much noise outside the hotel late at night, bars/restaurants emptying out etc. Room not cleaned after 2nd night although bed was made! We DID NOT appreciate the morning 'wake-up' call at 9.20 on our last morning, on answering the phone there was no one there so one can only wonder if a zealous member of staff decided to phone […] to ensure we were vacating our room early! We have always left our rooms BEFORE vacating time so that really annoyed us! Room small but adequate for a long weekend, bed reasonably comfy, took a long time to get hot water when showering or washing but probably due to 'teething' problems? Would we stay there again, probably YES despite the above moans as the positives outweigh the negatives. The bar man in the restaurant was very attentive and obviously enjoyed doing his job. The hotel is very central and within walking distance of most of the places we wanted to visit, even O'Connell St is just a stroll away and there are lots of 'character bars, restaurants and interesting shops and stalls selling 'not just tourist tat' in the surrounding streets, all well worth a visit. I normally stay at 5 stars but all booked up. This hotel served its purpose well, was quiet and all efficient. As long as you aren't expexting 5 star quality I would say it is certainly fit for purpose and a great location with pleasant staff. (I was pleasantly surprised in fact as I was not looking forward to stay!!).

Really enjoyed our stay. We took our little girl and the hotel accommodated the pushchair well, plenty of space in our hotel room and lift to all floors. Room spacious, clean and quiet. Location just off St Stephens Green, very close to everything. Service was good. Lift always available. WE couldn't check in til 3pm but we were able to store our luggage at reception from 11am, which was great. Perfect for a trip to Dublin, business or pleasure. Plenty of Art Galleries/Theatres/Cinemas closeby.

We had a wonderful 4 nights at this hotel.Beds clean and comfy, fresh towels every day if required. The location is excellent for Grafton St and a base for sightseeing and walking around town.. All staff friendly and helpful. Only "Fly in the ointment " was the building works that started outside at 08.00hrs, but easily tolerated for such a great location, […] and I am sure work will not be going on forever. The hotel is in a great location although is in desperate need of a make over. We had one day without hot water and I had to ask for clean towels and bedspread as they were badly stained. The staff were very obliging with any of our requests although were let down by a very old and dated hotel.

Aside from the location which is very good, we had a bad experience at this hotel. Firstly, we had rung the hotel several times beforehand to change our booking to allow for a third person in our room. We were continually told that this would be fine and that it could be changed at check in. Of course, upon arrival we were told that the third person […] could only stay for the first of the three nights we had booked. Clearly, the people we had spoken to on the phone had not checked that the third person could stay for the second two nights, but rather than simply admitting this and apologising, they told us they had not 'guaranteed' that the person would be allowed. Some other things: both the hot and cold water taps in the basin/shower released scalding hot water - we were told by reception that there are plumbing issues and that the hot water tap has to be left on for ten minutes before the water turns cold; the phones in the room don't work - you have to go to reception to make a call; the bed does not have a fitted sheet, only a flat sheet on the mattress then a duvet We left with the distinct impression that travelodge has rushed and opened this hotel before the staff/facilities are ready. The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to St Stephen's Green and Grafton Street. It is reasonably priced and the room was clean and well maintained. The hotel is next to a fairly busy road so there can be some noise heard, but this did not stop me from getting to sleep.

grafton street like rundt hjørnet, og rolig område. rommet var romslig, badet litt kaldt (mulig det var løsbart..) hjelpsomme og svært hyggelig betjening. anbefales. billig og bra! husk kontanter til taxi fra flyplass.. ville valgt samme hotell en evt neste gang.

Sauberes, großes Zimmer, gut gelegen - auch wenn die Nachbarschaft (Parkhaus) optisch abschrecken mag, ist es vor allem für Mietwagenfahrer optimal. Am meisten beeindruckt hat uns die Hilfsbereitschaft des Empfangspersonals (Rachel und Kollegen). Alles in allem sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Hotel was well situated for us and the room was nice and quite big (comparing to some other hotels). Few problems though. Whe stayed for two nights. When we came back to the hotel after the first night, our room had not been cleaned. We told the reception and they said that they will call housekeeping. We asked that if it's not possible to clean the […] room (we hadn't made a big mess :) ), atleast we need more toilet paper. When we came back from dinner, nothing had been done, no cleaning, no toilet paper. The reception told us that our room had not been cleaned during the day because we had the do not disturb sign.
