Directly across the street from the beach. Easy to find. There is a pool and a hot tub/jacuzzi, but they near the restaurant that is located within the hotel. The pool is right next to the bar, and the jacuzzi is on the other side between the rooms and the restaurant. My friend and I didn't prefer swimming while others were eating, nor would we eat while others are swimming. Free Valet Parking for hotel guests. Great Staff!!

The tiki bar was not busy at all and it may have just been cause it was out of season. The people that were their, seemed like a local crowd and were older. Wouldnt stay their again

This is an older Days Inn Hotel, close to the Marina and across the street from the beach. Our room was not in the main part of the complex, away from the bar and the pool. This was a good thing as it could get quite noisy in those areas at night. The room is older, but kept clean and functional, for it's age. Not as nice as some places, and nicer than others. RE:recommendation. a yes if you just need a place to stay over night; maybe if you are looking for a destination resort.

If you want a fun atmosphere, come to this hotel. The Tiki bar was right outside our room and went till about 3a.m., but we had such a good time during the day that it didn't keep us up. The food at the restaurant was great! We had breakfast and dinner there and it was well prepared, fast and tasty. The tables are under cover, or on the deck overlooking a nice harbor and the intercoastal water way. The beach is right accross the road and the boardwalk is about 1/2 mile away. I would definately go back.

We were not very pleased with this hotel. Too loud, lots of drinking and loud music. If I were 23, single and drank until I collapsed, this might be a place I would check out. This is not a family resort- nor is this a place to relax as you sleep. Although the location is great, it is not worth it. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone I cared about.

Bitterly dissapointed with the shocking condition of this hotel.Everything was dirty- doors, walls floors. This hotel is actually just a big party place- so if you are travelling with kids- dont bother. We were kept awake by people and music till about 2 in the morning. It was the middle of summer in Fort Lauderdale and we booked the hotel because it had a pool- but were only told once we had paid and checked in that the pool was empty. Checked straight out the next day.

Started vacation a day early & needed last minute reservation so went on hotels.com. Hotel was a little old or maybe retro is a better word. Was clean & comfortable. Room was a little small. Very reasonable rate though. Right across from the beach was a plus. Had deck bar/restaurant facing marina, with live entertainment. Got in late & kitchen was closing but they let us order food & were very nice about it. Food was good & server was very friendly. Had alot of fun & would go back in the future.

It was decent. The floor plan of the hotel was unique. All centers around a courtyard with the jaccuzi and a restaurant/bar overlooking the Intercoastal. If you're not worried about people staring at you in your bikini, the jaccuzi would be great. Mold around the window in the bathroom. No valet parking in the morning.

The Hotel is located across the street from the beach and from a very good restaurant. It's a two lane street crowded with auto's, trying to get to their hotel or get parked for the restaurant. So, we did experience a little road rage. This would probably be a great place for the younger crowd, as it is close to a lot of action. If they don't mind the condition of the place. The Hotel is very old and in dire need of being remodeled. It is clean and that says a lot. I really didn't know it was only a two star hotel because we usually only do a three if it's just for one night, as this was. We were just going to catch the Discovery to Freeport, Bahamas early the next morning. Staff was wonderful, and didn't forget that wake up call, bless them. I would recommend this Hotel to the very young who just want to party and don't care about much else and to folks like us who just need a place to stay for one night.

After travelling 7000 miles, I was eager to get some rest in a reasonably quiet, easy-going hotel room. In this, the Days Inn didn?t do too bad. The air-conditioning unit kept the room a comfortable 20oC, but sounded like the engine of a Boeing 747, and had to be switched off during sleep. The décor was okay. Recently redecorated, it smelt of fresh paint, but the quality of the paint finish (chalky residue and wobbly ceiling/wall borders) and paint spots on the bed, suggested it was rushed. Refreshments weren?t great (filter coffee only and a fridge). The cleanliness of the room could not be faulted. Every day it was cleaned and the beds made. Alas, although the comfort was limited, it was kept clean (a cockroach moved in for the one night). The best aspect of the Days Inn Bahia is its proximity to the beach (1 min walk) and the excellent bar patio. Here, the food was quick, tasty and served with a friendly face. The menu was fair, but no vegan or gluten-free options were apparent. However, the dishes were filling. The beer selection was reasonable and the atmosphere excellent. The mixture of taped and live music worked well. This hotel is reasonable value for money for those on a limited budget, who will spend most of the day out (on the beach) and are not bothered about the novel comfort features. The water-taxi service is just round the corner, which makes it ideal for those who want to explore the (limited) touristy bits of Fort Lauderdale.
