"Nice Quiet place and convenient, clean"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Just spent a night while preparing for a flight out. Room was quiet and clean. Hotel staff was friendly.

"close to convention center"
certain complimentary breakfast items can make you sick. most notably, the fake scrambled eggs. The free wifi they insisted was working in our room was not available. we had to feed off the other room's signal.
"Close to airport"
The early evening front desk clerk was wonderful and the Henry the shuttle driver was awesome !
"Great price and service"
This hotel has great service for what you pay for. The rooms are large and well kept. The shuttle service can be very handy as well, whether you are going to the convention center, the train station, or O'Hare.
"A good deal for the price"
Close to airport, far for downtown but with good transportation to get there. Breakfast was great
"Schiller Park Comfort Inn stay in April 2012"
I was very disappointed with the hotel beds. We were expecting to use the sofa bed and when we pulled it out, the matress was falling apart and was ripped; therfore, made it non useable. also, we were suppose to get two queen beds and got doubles instead because there was a wedding going on at the hotel which made the noise level very loud. Pictures […] on the website are not what the rooms look like. Read more
They didn't turn oir room over. Came back from a nice day out to a dirty room
"Comfortable, good value"
Booked through Hotels.com and got a very good price for the location and comfort of the room, included a microwave and fridge in the room so the overrall stay was even more economical and convenient (there is a supermarket next door). Short drive away from the convention center and other large hotels where events may be held. Service was friendly, the […] room was clean, breakfast was included and was good. Definitely will consider this hotel if I have to stay near O'Hare again. Read more
"Nice, but some service lacking this trip"
I've stayed at this location in the past and chose it again because the staff was phenomenal. This time they fell slightly short of service. The same staff was no longer there. Checking in was wonderful, however; the internet wouldn't work and the staff was very sarcastic and non-helpful when I brought the matter to their attention. I was trying to […] visit a local attraction and the clerk who answered the phone talked to me as if I should know the area and lived there. I found a group of strangers who offered their assistance. This is a beautiful hotel and it was very convenient for my trip..just disappointed at the lack of service this time. Read more
"Comfort Suites O'Hare"
Our stay worked out fine. The staff was relatively friendly but seemed hesitant to do much beyond the normal. The shuttle service to/from the airport and the EL stop was reliable, the rooms were comfortable (although all the pillows were too fluffy for my taste, but that's just me and my anti-fluffy pillow fetish), the breakfast was very good.
"Value of what you pay"
The suite has a door between living area and the bedroom, so a third person can sleep on the couch/bed and close the door. This is very convenient if one snores. It is close to O'Hare International Airport, easy to access highways. The breakfast included hot fresh-made waffle, scrambled egg, sausage, bread, bagel, cereal, milk, plain broiled egg, coffee, […] juices, and etc. It is simple but good enough to fill you for a long morning. The water pressure from shower is a little low, so the flow is slow. Anyway, I am not picky and felt comfortable. Read more
The decor is a little dated but room was clean and comfortable. Separate living room, microwave, complimentary hot breakfast and free WiFi are all perks that at this hotel that I haven't had at much pricier hotels. When I have a meeting near O'Hare, this is the place I choose.
"GOOD VALUE FOR OHARE/ ROSEMONT CONVENTION AREA"
Conveniently located a little more than a mile off the main 90/94 interchange next to O'Hare and the Convention Center, this hotel was a good value. People very friendly and hospitable. The facility is a bit worn and our room - 2 doubles - was tired but well cleaned. The beds were a bit lumpy but reasonable despite a tough time to sleep. Quiet and very […] manageable. The sitting room couch has TV but is very worn - and the pullout (which we elected not to use) completely wrecked and non-usable (springs to hold mattress broken through). For the price we secured, it was a great value. Decent park along road to the Convention Centers and to the CTA stop if you don;t mind a good walk or looking for a reasonable jog. Breakfast selection good, great eggs!!, held inside high-ceiling sports bar with many TVs nice. Good convenience stores nearby. Read more
"Excellent customer service - staff is very helpful"
I am not happy with the fact that the hotel did NOT get the requests I typed into Hotel.com. The hotel advised that once you make a reservation, please call them for any requests. Otherwise they will never get them. Also the hotel would have been the same price or cheaper if I had booked direct and then I would not have had a problem.
"Foldout bed horrible"
The foldout bed was horrible. Had to put mattress on floor to use it, because frame poked person in the back.
"Not under best"
The room had a smell. The water didn't drain in the bathtub. The sheets had holes. Breakfast was good. Wallpaper was peeling. Everyone was nice. Parking was horrible. They need a smoking area.
"Average hotel"
The room was "clean", but room carpets were filthy! The exercise room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days.

"Breakfast OK, fold-out bed horrible"
Free breakfast was pretty good. Covered all the basics, including scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, toast, yoghurt, coffee, juice, etc The fold-out sofa bed was terrible. It was so bad we had to remove the mattress and put it on the floor so my kid could sleep on it. I tried it and the metal frame cut into my upper back so severely that I […] couldn't stand it for more than 1 minute. If you don't need the extra bed, it's an ok place to stay and the price is right. But forget the fold-out sofa. Read more

"Comfort Suites O'Hare - Comfortable & Convenient"
The hotel is in a suburban location about 10 minutes drive from the Airport. It is readily accessible by the shuttle bus provided. There is a train station about a mile away, and the shuttle drivers are happy to take guests to this station as well as the airport. Behind the hotel is a small shopping centre with restaurants and a small supermarket.
"Wake up Cecil"
The hotel is just fine. There is no real reason to not stay there. Very clean. Good Breakfast. However, if you are flying into Ohare insure you call for the shutlle as soon as you can to pick you up. I called Cecil at the front desk and asked where the shuttle picked up. He told me Door 3 of the shuttle center. I told him "Good im there." i waited […] and after watching a few other hotels go back and forth I decided to call. Cecil answered again and I asked where the shuttle was. "Where are you?" "Im at the airport, Cecil." "You have to call in for the shuttle." Instead of getting angry I just asked him to send the shuttle. After another 25 mins i called again I asked "Where is the shuttle." "They are delivering at the Blue Line and will be there next." He quickly hung up. I guess this is my fault because I just assumed the Blue Line was someone near the airport. Regardless I call another 10 minutes later and asked him again. "Where is the Blue Line Station." This time he actually had me hold and called the driver. It would be another 15 minutes. I told him. "Cecil if I knew it was going to take so long I would have just grabbed a cab. You could have told this at the beginning. Or just told me it was going to be 45 -60 mins and let me decide what to do." He just replied a yes. Cecil wake up. Read more

"next to airport"
If you want some thing cheap and next to the airport or just spending one night its a good place. Over all experience i would give 2 out 5. 5 being the highest.
"A roof over your head"
This hotel is just that - a roof over your head. We had to change rooms because the pull-out bed was broken in the first. The cleanliness is barely passable. The staff was slow in getting us the number of towels we needed (not enough in the room). The same guy who shuttles people to the airport apparently does the maintenance during the evenings, too. […] That said, the size was adequate for 5 people, and the staff was friendly. Read more
"affordable and yes close to O'Hare"
I was very pleased with their service Attendants were very nice, polite and helpful. Breakfast was great. The sofa bed was rather bumpy. I inadvertently took the wrong shuttle from the airport. I went to the Comfort Inn instead of the comfort Inn suites but the comfort Inn suites sent for me.
I arrived at 10 PM at the airport and promptly contacted the hotel for the shuttle service. I was told to wait at a certain place, which I did. After 30 minutes, I called and they told me to wait. After 1 hour, I called and they told me that the shuttle did not run at that time of the night. They called a taxi for me and paid for it, but I arrived about […] 1 1/2 hours after I first called for a ride that should have been 15 minutes. I needed to get up very early the next day for a flight, so I was only able to get 3 hours of sleep. When I got to the hotel, the clerk at the desk started taking care of the taxi driver's next booking. I had to speak up so I could get into my room. I have informed my travel agent, and she will not recommend this hotel. Read more

"COMFORTABLE BEDS and GREAT FREE BREAKFAST"
I was VERY pleasantly surprised by Comfort Suites beds and breakfast! The beds felt like they were topped with tempur-pedic foam and the FREE breakfast included sausage and fluffy scrambled eggs under silver hot-lids, in addition to the usual waffles, cereal, bagels, oj, other juices, etc. FREE wifi too Diamond in the rough for a very affordable price.+++++ I […] also stayed at the Hilton during this trip. It was more than triple the cost of Comfort Suites, did not include wifi or breakfast. And the beds were not as comfortable as Comfort Suites' beds. Read more
"Comfort suites in Schiller Chicago"
I enjoyed the hotel very much. The staff were very nice. Very surprise at the clealiness of the hotel for the price. I will stay there again in the future
"Review"
Liked the hotel, but there is a lack of parking, especially with the lounge traffic.

"Comfort suites o'hare"
The room was a nice size, but nothing fancy and quite outdated. Breakfast was ok and everything was quite clean. The staff was very nice and ambiance accentuated by show tunes piped into the lobby at all times. It would not have been convenient to get around without a car, but close to grocery shopping and running trails.

I had a wonderful time.
"Comfort Suites O'Hare"
Upon arriving at the airport I had to wait 45 minutes for the shuttle which was strange since they have shuttles every 30 mins to and from the airport. Not the biggest problem however. When entering my room I noticed that I could hear the television about as well as the neighbor next door who was watching it. Then a short time later noticed the bathroom […] floor sticky as I was barefoot, and when I went to use the toilet I clearly saw that there was dried urine along the rim and dried crap inside the bowl. Since it was very late I did not make a trip down to the front desk but I spoke to the desk clerk the following morning about it. She took notes but upon returning that evening I found that the toilet had been untouched. I went to the front desk and Nick was very apologetic and moved me to a very nice suite. Unfortunately this one also had a dirty toilet with dried urine along the rim and down the sides. (I was inspecting for it now) The following morning I left late and while I was still in the room the maid came to clean. Although she did clean the toilet there was nothing more done other than wipe the sink, change the towels and make up the bed. She was in the room about 4 minutes. I don't feel that this site is up to the standard expected of this brand and am of the impression that the management is not very capable. I have two or three more weeks to stay in Chicago for this project but I will not be staying at this location even though it is very convenient. Read more
"Comfortable & affordable"
The room was clean and spacious. Had more amenities than we expected: fridge, microwave, two TV's and a great breakfast.
"Easy to get to, free parking, but loud club"
I've stayed here before and probably will again, but this time the club downstairs was super loud on Fri, Sat AND Sun nights. It's obvious that the hotel makes more money from their events than their paying hotel guests.
"Comfort Suites O'Hare"
The hotel was clean, and quiet for being so close to the airport. The staff were cheerful and pleasant.
"A good deal for the money"
We took their shuttle from the airport which the man anwering the phone to call for the shuttle was very helpful. The place was well taken care of and clean. Breakfast ended a little earlier than expected, so I missed out on that but my wife said it was good. I would stay there again.
"Good for the price, but some problems...."
We booked a Saturday night here to visit my son, who had just moved to the area. The hotel was conveniently located and there were some things we really liked about it. The location was great for us. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was VERY good and included scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh waffles, etc. Much more than just "continental". The room […] was older but decent sized, and was clean. Now the problems. PARKING PARKING PARKING. There is a banquet center adjacent to the hotel (same building) and a bar next door. There was no place to park! I drove around and through the lot several times and finally had to wait on someone who was leaving a banquet. VERY frustrating. People were parked in the business's lots all around there and I wasn't sure how secure things would be. Second problem. Our daughter ended up going with us, and when we folded out the sofa sleeper for her, it was basically falling apart. Totally unusable. We ended up putting the mattress on the floor for her. I did tell the desk clerk the next morning about it and she muttered something about them getting new furniture soon, but it was not a positive experience with the sofa sleeper. Overall the room was pretty clean and we weren't dissatisfied. We didn't pay alot for the room and the problems weren't show stoppers, but still were problems. They did run free shuttles to O'hare so if you didn't have a car to park and needed the shuttles it would be great. Read more
