my hotel stay was fine. my complaints are room service was very slow with needed towels. i was promised a much needed roll away bed but they gave it too another customer and then did not even let me know.one of the front desk ladies was very unfriendly. Yes i will stay there again.

We stayed here two nights the week after Thanksgiving. After the first night, the beds were made, but the room was not cleaned and cups and towels were not replenished. My husband had dropped a cracker on the floor and the crumbs weren't vacuumed up. The free breakfast bar was not kept filled and guests were having to go into a nearby room to get cups, etc. The woman who was in charge of it was across the room "visiting" with a man. We've stayed at a number of Wingates over the years and this was by far the very worst. They are usually nice places to stay.

Location - Great Staff - Friendly and accommodating, we ran into an issue in the morning with our meeting space at a different location and the staff made arrangement for us at their location in less than 15 minutes. Room - Fair / Good - The rooms were clean and comfortable but seemed a little worn. However, I would stay there again if in Longview.

needs a few repairs. my husband was bit by something that left four whelps on his neck. The t.v. cabinet had wood trim falling off and dangling out to where if you walk by it will scrape you. Sink cabinet had cracks and dents.Bed was comfortable. However not worth the 120.00 price

I stayed here In 2011, and 2012. The place is not as well maintained as it was back then. The A/C in my room worked, but did not work properly. It did work "good enough" to keep the room cool in 95 degree days, but was in disrepair. The bathroom door barely stayed closed, the latch, like the A/C, worked, but did not work correctly. The safe appeared to have dead batteries, and did not work at all. Was too small for my laptop to fit in anyway. The cable TV constantly had brief periods of silence and/or no picture(like 3-5 seconds) while watching anything, which was very annoying when watching a movie. Luckily I had an HDMI cable with me, so I hooked up my laptop to the TV, (which worked great, so the problem was not the TV) and watched movies on Netflix over the free WIFI, which was one thing that worked great. Also had wired ethernet too, and if the rest of the room was as good as the network I would of been happy. I do not think this Hotel is worth the price they charge anymore. The primary problem was a lack of competent maintenance.

Nothing spectacular. A quiet, 4th floor room, but one elevator was broken (irritating) and couldn't get a late check-out, even for an hour. The location was good, with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

The room was great until water started gushing from our bathroom ceiling and then the wall light switches. Maintenance was called but took hours to come and the front desk was unwilling to give us another room until we threatened to go to another hotel. After we moved into another room we had a very comfortable stay and breakfast was great!

The hotel is not new so it is average. Breakfast was also ok. The 2 rooms we booked had issues. In one room the AC did not work well so it was hot and the other had a water leak. The staff was nice enough to upgrade us to suites because of the issues.

I have stayed at this hotel before and expected much better and have had much better. To start off I booked two double beds and got a king and sleeper sofa for me, two daughters, and a niece. I understand that it is a request but I made the reservation well in advance. Secondly, the hotel was under going renovations and was pretty torn up from top to bottom. The acid smell from cleaning brick and carpet rolls everywhere were disappointing. Third, there were no pillows for the sleeper sofa. I called down to the front desk and they said give them a few minutes and they would bring them up. Not two minutes later they called back and said could someone pick them up which I had to do. Lastly and most disturbing there were a large group of teenagers staying there and they ran the halls most of the night, made lots of noise, and were in the pool after hours dragging water all over the halls and the lobby. At breakfast the next morning, they were like ravenous animals and when food came out they took two and three of everything leaving nothing for others. Something should have been said to their adult leaders but they weren't supervising them all night so they probably wouldn't have done anything anyway. In general, it was a miserable stay. I hope they get things back under control like they were in the past.

We booked through hotels.com. We were uncomfortable both nights because the air conditioner didn't cool the room properly. The second night we were awaken by noise in the hallway. We tried to report to the desk but no answer on the telephone. We decided to leave early and could not find anyone at the desk to turn the key card into. It could have been better by having the air conditioner on in the room when guests arrive.

The front staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Bathrooms seemed a little dingy with wear and tear but everything seemed clean. The biggest problem was the bed and pillows. Very uncomfortable! We tossed and turned all night long for two nights. Perhaps bed problem would be solved with better pillows. Location close to all conveniences.

The internet was down the day we arrived so we were unable to get a key to our room. We had to ask someone to let us in each time we left. We went to a wedding that evening and were greeting by 3 employees smoking in outside the front door. We asked if we could get a key yet and the employee would not even set down her cigarette and move inside to help us. We had to stand in their smoke while she answered and the sent someone else to let us in our room. No very professional for a Wyndham hotel. The bed hard and I could feel springs when I laid down. All in all, a disappointing stay.

We booked this hotel & the pictures must have been taken from when the hotel was first built. It is not clean & the staff were not friendly. We had no choice but to stay there due to many events in the town & all hotels booked. Will not recommend to anyone.

This hotel is nice and roomy which means a lot because I tend to feel cramped in hotel rooms. The only drawback was their is no fan in the bathroom. This can really affect your morning... Also, I picked this hotel because there is a nice pool but when the kids and I got back from the football game to swim, the pool was closed. On a weekend I think it should stay open until midnight since it is totally enclosed with a thick door to keep the noise out. No time to swim in the morning....

We loved the hotel, staff, breakfast. However the air conditioner in our room had gotten the floor wet and made the room smell. It wasn't bad enough that we wouldn't want to stay there again. Everyone was friendly and the hotel was clean. We should have just asked to switch rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay with our grandchildern. They stayed in the pool alot. Breakfest was good helped us out feeding the childern. Staff was great, we had a lady in trainning and she was very nice. When we go to Longview we always stay at another hotel but the hot tub was always broke,so we tried Wingate it is now where we will stay from now on in Longview.

Wingate is always nice. Convenient to everything we wanted. This time, unable to use indoor pool, spa and sauna due to heavy clorine use. The bed was really hard and the a/c was very loud. Still, for the price, I would book it again....

The room was in good condition and we had no problems with the staff the only issue was the pool area. We got a hotel with a pool so the kids would have something to do but the pool area was heated even when it was 95 degrees outside. It was so hot that you could not spend more than 15 min in the pool area without feeling sick. For us this was disappointing as we have stayed here before without issue.

Everything was at satisfaction. Breakfast was great. This is a great stay for a family. It was 2 of us with 3 kids. They kids had a great time and love it. I would recommend this motel when it comes to staying in Longview, Texas after we've already booked a room at a different motel and it was the worst motel I've seen. Had to drag my kids out of the room it was not safe. Wingate motel is on my list when we come back. Thank You :)

Air conditioner would not cool off room. Only there for one day so didn't try to get it fixed. Room as to warm all night. Was on 4th floor and elevators were out of order on Saturday. Also, ad states that it is a buffett or full breakfast. It is not. WIth the name Wyndham we expected a lot better.
