The Tower Hotel - Niagara Falls

I was not disappointed in any way. The location was easy to get to and a magnificient view from the room of Niagara Falls set the tone for the whole weekend. Dinning was great and service was above my expectations. What more can I say.

The bed was a bit lumpy, but it was totally worth it to have a fabulous view of both the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls. The hotel service, including cleaning staff and concierge, were superb.

The wi fi was having a lot of problems. The rooms are very outdated, nothing like the picture on the website.

The hotel was amazing! My husband and I stay on St. Patty's day for our anniversary. When booking the hotel I asked for a great view of the falls. I got more than I asked for! We stay in room 2901 and the view was gorgeous!!! The staff was wonderful. They were very nice and helpful. The hotel was only a few blocks from everything which was very nice!! […] There was a $15 a day charge for valet parking. We would recommend this hotel and will be staying here the next time we go to Niagara Falls!!! Read more

Our room had a spectacular view of the falls however the Pinnacle Restaurant was closed during our stay and the TV had cable service difficulties throughout our stay as well - staff were unable to rectify this problem. Other than that, great fallsview, very convenient location, and friendly staff.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Thanks to Bonnie, Dennis and John. Our room was perfect. Overlooked the falls. We didnt want to leave. We will return for sure!!!

You will be very happy with the nice service you received. We booked the Deluxe Queen Room on the Falls view side. We got a room on 29th floor which is the highest. It was a great experience ever. The location is very convenience for everything. I will stay there every time when I go to Canada!

the view is great. the room is tiny, typical motel room. the worst part was the $35 parking fee charged for 2 days with a smile. nobody mentioned this until the check-out. Leaves bad feeling, like you have to watch your back. Had i known, would had found better room.

We had a room facing the river/falls. amazingly good design of this hotel, places all the roomy space you need, exactly where you need it, so that an actually small room with a king bed seem like a full size room. Wall to Celing to Wall windows give the feeling of roominess, and the falls view is amazing. The hotel is actually cozy, and not over-crowded, […] as its room count is limited by it's structure, which places all the rooms with good views. The sevices offered are not as many, yet the atmosphere is cozy and personal, which makes up for it. The first floor restaurant is fantastic. Did not get a chance this visit for the Pinnacle Restaurant, but look forward to it next visit. Only complaint about Niagara Falls is that although the Falls is diectly below all the hotels with the best view, the Hill does not allow a stairway down to the pedestrian bridge over the highway, so during the fall-winter-spring seasons, you have to walk around the hill a half mile, when the falls is right below you. However it is a pleasant walk, and the weather as well as the falls are exhilerating. Highly recommended location and top view hotel with small friendly atmosphere. Read more

Our stay at the Tower Hotel was incredibly disappointing. I'd picked the hotel from among others in Niagara Falls because of the positive reviews from other travelers, and was really shocked when we got to our room. The hotel is in the middle of renovations, with some rooms completely renovated, and other--like ours--in horrible shape. There were huge […] water stains on the walls, the shower walls were covered in thick dark mold and the bathroom fixtures were rusted, the sink had a huge crack, and wooden furniture in the room was broken. I've never stayed in such a poorly-maintained hotel. When I talked to the front desk, it took two attempts (one the first night, and the second the next morning) to get the attendant to respond. The first night she acted as if I was just being cheap for complaining about the room quality. The second time, after a fair amount of insistence, she offered that we could switch to another, already-renovated room for our second night--but one which had a view of the city, rather than the falls. As our original room had a spectacular view of the falls--we had paid extra in the first place to get this view--downgrading to a room without a view (the main attraction at NF) would have been a waste, and so we suffered through the second night in order to enjoy the falls view. I definitely will not stay at this hotel again, and would not recommend others to do so. In fact, I've never written a hotel review before (despite traveling frequently for business), but felt compelled to review this hotel because of how disappointing the room condition and customer service were. I'd recommend that Hotels.com rethink its affiliation with the Tower Hotel. Read more

Amazing!!!!!!

This hotel is a little older but nonetheless very nice. As expected, the view is amazing. There are some idiosyncrasies that come with the unique design: small corridors, long elevator rides, and valet parking mean that it takes more time than usual to come and go; also, the rooms are somewhat pie-shaped which leads to some space inefficiency. I was […] mildly disappointed by the lack of an open electrical outlet near the desk and the spotty wireless service. While the hotel is very close to the falls, you must take an incline down the hill. If you go off season, the incline is not available and you have to walk about 20 minutes to get to the falls. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk to "down town" Niagara Falls. I found it to be a very pleasant walk when the weather was nice, but it was somewhat inconvenient when it was cold because it can be very windy. My girlfriend and I would definitely go here again. I would recommend it to others provided they are interested in a place with a lot of character and a more intimate atmosphere. It will definitely not provide the same experience as a large chain hotel. Read more

The cost of the room was so fair considering that it is such a unique venue. We had the "city view" on the "penthouse" floor. I loved it! My only suggestion would be to put a shower floor non-slip matt down because the floor is dangerous when wet. The gentlemen who parked our car and gave us tourist info. were great too!

The view was absolutely amazing! If nothing else, that would have been worth it! The room was nicely decorated and was very clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed out time there!

We spent one night at the Tower Hotel and had a great view of Horseshoe Falls. The room was small, but included a refrigerator and microwave and was perfect for our stay.

A spectacular view of the Horseshoe Falls in Canada was available to us from our hotel room. From our bed and from the window we saw the awesome force of nature. God is good.

We booked this hotel last minute and were extremely pleasantly suprised! The view was probably the best part of the hotel. With floor to ceiling windows, we could see both the American and Horse shoe falls from our room. Also very friendly and prompt staff. The rooms are a little small, but overall great experience for the price!

I stayed at this hotel December 14 -15, 2011. My only regret is that I did not get to stay LONGER. The hotel put us on the 28th Floor - my goodness what a view! We did not want to leave the room. And at night it was even better. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Tower was amazing. The best room/view for the price. We could literally lay in bed and watch the falls. The tough thing about location is the lack of parking or even an area to park going into the hotel. There was a horseshoe drive, but it typically had cars parked in it (you can always squeeze in, but it was tight). The Valet was great […] about getting the car for you anytime you called. The office staff were wonderful including one of the valet gentlemen, who was super helpful in pointing us in the right direction for things. We stayed in a Standard Queen Fallsview room and were extremely happy with the cleanliness of the room and of course the amazing view of the falls! great views different perspective than the ordinary chain motel/hotel would book again. so close you can feel the mist from the falls!

All staff was friendly and courteous. Especially the 2 valet men and the female desk clerk at front desk. The food was fantastic, the lamb shank was the best ive ever had. Service was great. and of course the view was impeccable. We will be back!!

Great view of the falls

The Tower Hotel is surrounded by big chain hotels and we have decided to go with something different. Our room was impeccable, nice decoration and we felt at home. The jet bathtub was awesome!!!! It was a great room, small but classy with a fantastic view of the falls. The bed was really uncomfortable and my husband and I were sore for days after sleeping on it. Otherwise a great place to stay and the restaurant in the hotel, The Pinnacle, was excellent.

Very nice place for my wife and I. Our room had a king bed and overlooked the falls. Our reservation was for a queen bed and city view but they upgraded us free just for the asking. And the price was unbeatable. I'd reccommend this place to any couple for a romantic getaway at Niagra Falls.

Carpet was dirty and crinkled. Toe nail clippings all over carpet from previous guest not vacuumed after our 3 days there. Spa in tub did'nt work. Wi-Fi didn't work first 2 days. We stayed 3 days 2 nights.

Perfect location near the falls. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room is somewhat dated. King size bed was hard with 3 sofa-sized pillows was a turn-off. Bath fixtures were clean, but dated.

Very helpfull staff, great location, loved the retro deco of Hollywood style, spacious rooms, great restaurant at top with view of falls and cafe little cafe at base. We liked this restaurant better than the one at the Skylon Tower!

We had an amazing view of Niagara Falls from our room! It was quite roomy and quiet. We were able to open our window at night and listen to the Falls. The workers were very nice and willing to help you to the best of their abilities.

Room very noisy due to AC equipment, heat not working and room very cold, internet service not working. Had to move to another room with heat and less mechanical noise.

Fine location and view onto surrounding areas, including the Niagara Falls. Rate reasonable and restaurant not overly expen sive given the wonderful view onbto both the Canadian and US Falls. Altogether a good experience.

We stayed in a falls view room. Awesome view. We watched the fireworks from our room after a great meal at the Restaurant on the 26th floor. Rooms are small and bathroom even smaller, but as long as you're OK with that, the experience is very nice. BTW, don't eat at TGI Fridays next door for breakfast. Awful.

The accommodations were superb but the quality of the food was very poor on the night we were there and very overpriced. The gentleman at the concierge desk, Brian, was very courteous, responsive and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights had a wonderful modern room, The view was FANTASTIC!!! We will stay there again on our next trip. The valet service was great. Wish we would have taken the time to eat in the resturant.

I booked from hotels.com but still worried about accommodation as friend of mine told me that he had hard time getting the room last time when he went there due to over booking. I worried as we were also going there on labor day weekend which is busiest weekend of the year. But I had no problems at all. The staff are very nice. I checked in just 10mins […] as they have all my reservation info and made everything ready. I was worried about parking before we get there, but they have valet parking with just $15/day which is very minimum for tourist place like Niagara. Room service was good. Online price for parking was one price per day yet the hotel charged me twice that. The hotel is right there by the horse shoe of the Niagara Falls. Depending which view you have, you are conveniently close to everything, by foot and car. The room is small that it feels like your on a cruise ship room, but clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. There is a cafe there that provides room service, but it's a bit expensive....your […] better going off to Ihop, obe block over from the hotel, which give you more for your buck. TGIF is next door and all the other bars and nightclubs are literally walk skip and hop away. You really don't even need a car within that area. Parking fee is a little steep, $25/day, which allows you to take it in and out. Advice, buy bottled water or any other snacks outside the main strip because it's very expensive. Before you leave the hotel, take a look at your bill. They charged me an extra day of parking, but was immediately taken care of instantly without a hassle. You will love the area and the walking distance to the falls. Plus there is a quick ride that will get you to the fall right behind the hotel for $2.50 each way. The room layout was very strange.....I would have expected the bed to face Niagara Falls instead of towards the city. The shower had no shelf, so one had to resort to placing the shampoo, soap, etc on the shower floor....The ceiling in our bathroom was in pitiful shape.
