Value for the experience was great. Hole is quiet and well-equipped. No breakfast. Traffic on I 77 can be slow. So be prepared for that. Otherwise, I'd stay there again.

When called Front Desk from room after checking in, told her to add a pet fee to room because Expedia (where I originally made reservation on line) said I had to do it separately when at the hotel. She said she already did. This made me feel like she thought I was not going to inform Candlewood of the pet fee. It's all in the delivery of the message. […] We were put in the room directly across from the utility, employee room; so dogs (both weigh under 11 pounds) would bark every time someone entered/exited the utility room. Not a good location for pet owners. Also didn't realize rooms only cleaned once a week until came back to room second day and.Staff knew we took our dogs with us the entire time. Also when gave front desk credit card, she swiped it and wrote the entire credit card nuimber down. I asked her why she wrote the number down and she said it wasn't clear from the swipe. I asked if I could have this paper back upon check out and she stated yes especially when it is hand written, we return it to guest. But upon check out Front Desk said she had to keep it with file. Plse shread information. Otherwise, stay was uneventful and would stay again. Read more

The hotel gets top ratings. The only issue I had was more a preference than an issue I guess. I had running water but the shower was horrible as it had no pressure at all! Water came out so slowly and with no pressure I had to stand up under the shower head to get wet and the rinse off. I also thought when i booked there was a pool but I never saw a […] sign that said pool. The other facilities were clean, nicely maintained. I will return to this location to stay again for sure. Hotel is very nice. Right off interstate but not too close to here all the traffic. Very convenient location for shopping in Concord and Charlotte with great rates! The young lady at the front desk was super helpful and great customer service! Very pleased! Will stay there again.

Be sure to visit the shopping mall across the street and 1/4 mile further away from exit 25 on Route 77. Apartments over stores creates a pleasant experience and the kids can play in a central courtyard with water sprinklers. Try the sushi at EEZ!
