I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was wonderful and let us check in early. They told us all about the conveniences that the hotel had to offer, which we took full advantage of. Wonderful indoor pool and hot tub, nice little bar, convenient business room with computer, and a clean lovely room. It's only a 2 minute drive to the village and the Winter Carnival was in full swing! I'd stay there again in a hot second!

We wanted a fair price at a hotel with a pool, so we booked at Roosevelt Inn & Suites. The Inn is beautiful, located fairly close to the downtown. Saratoga Springs is an interesting, historical area. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were informed that the pool and spa were 'out of order' and they would not be repaired until the following week, after we had left. The front desk clerk rather rudely informed me that we should 'feel free' to leave and look for another hotel with a pool. She stated she had begun to call people to inform them of this problem - obviously I had not been called. She further informed me that the previous owners did not even allow children! It was late, we were tired, so we chose to stay. I was told I 'could speak to the manager' the next day but the clerk doubted my problem could be resolved since I had already received a 'very good rate'! She advised me to contact hotels.com. On the positive side, one of our rooms was upgraded to a really nice Junior suite, with 2 rooms and a jacuzzi. Our other reservation was a fabulous suite, with a soaking tub, stand alone shower and full kitchen. I chose not to speak with the manager. My only other complaint was the bed in the bigger suite - it really needs a new mattress. We will return to Saratoga Springs and will consider staying at Roosevelt Inn again.

This motel was under renovation as there were boxes of furniture outside my room. That said, there was no nightside table (I had to use the ironing board) and only a desk and one chair. Still, it suited my needs for the night.

We didn't even stay b/c when we got to the room around 2:00 am or so and I pulled back the sheets I saw what I thought was a bed bug. He offerred us another room and said they didn't have bed bugs but we declined the offer because we just didn't want to take the risk and we couldn't find another room available until 4:30 in the morning in Vermont. AC didn't work at all. It should not have taken near the amount of trouble that it did for them to change my room. They literally asked me if I wanted a fan. I mean c'mon it was a day in the 90's and your windows don't open. A fan? Really?

I was very happy with the motel, in most all respects. There were quite a few unidentified charges added to reservation quoted cost. It raised the price considerable, and I have not experienced such an amount of charges with other motels such at Red Roof, Etc.

The Saturday night of Presidents' day weekend. Checked in at 9:00 and out at 10:00. the TV was small, but so was the price so i wasn't expecting much. The room was clean but it was old and run down in the shower area, kind of like staying with a single buddy of yours.

Outside appearance very deceiving. Very dirty motel. Room smelled musty, dirty. Outlet coverings weren't tight. Major gaps in walling around covers. Cups were sealed together, couldn't even use. The room was hotter than the air outside! Our room wasn't ready when we got there so we had to wait. When it was time to sleep, the air conditioner wasn't working properly and we had to get a fan from the office. It was horrible!!!!

They get you with the name. This was not even close to being what I expected and I felt ripped off. First thing I did was check for bed bugs. Not finding any I decided to stay for my one night. The bed was hard and lumpy ,woke up with a backache. Luckily the sheets and bathroom were clean. Just a stopover on our way north.

The stench from our smoking room lingered on our clothing and items for 24 hours after we left. There was a 1/2 inch gap between the drywall and the light switch plate on the wall. There was no latching mechanism on the door to the bathroom. overall the hotel was in a perfect location for what we needed but the housekeeping left a little to be desired not to mention they were knocking on our door the day we were checking out at 7am looking to see if we had left yet but overall the hotel served it's purpose a place to sleep.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The so called non-smoking room stinks of cigarette smoke and I was sneezing the whole night. Dust all over the tops of the refrigerator and microwave. We were disappointed in the upkeep of the hotel. Everything was old and in poor repair. Looks like they need a good maintaince person,especially for plumbing and chalking around the tubs and fixtures.

Traveling, arriving late from a Saratoga concert -- didn't want to fall asleep driving on the Taconic State Parkway --- paid a moderate price for a comfortable bed and a clean shower directly off the highway. Coffee machine/ muffin breakfast w/ fruit included. Pretty good deal.

Nice Hotel. Rooms are Clean and the hotel staff was very friendly .Very Near to Highway. Strongly Recommend.
