The hotel needs to upgrade. The whirlpool room was elegant, but their were stains on the walls that just needed a good cleaning, the bed gave us backaches every night, and the tv was really old. The room was clean. We considered this hotel to be an ok stay not a great stay. The whirpool was nice, so that made up the difference for all the other issues. If you are planning on going to Broadway on the beach a lot and not wanting to drive, then that 0.5 miles is too much of a walk from this hotel. Stay at the Hampton Inn if you want to go to hang out at Broadway on the beach or Farfield Inn which is right outside of Hard Rock Cafe. Broadway on the beach is a fun place with tons of restaurants and shopping. If you love Margaritaville and plan on going there a bunch, then stay at the Hampton Inn. It's a skip and a jump away. Bring lots of old bread to Broadway on the beach. There are a ton of ducks and huge fish to feed. Also go see a 3D show offered on Broadway on the beach. They are awesome. You feel like your swimming with the fish and sharks.

I was not happy that I was charged an 'extra person Fee' I have stayed with this Hotel several times and have never seen that fee on my bill except when I booked thru Hotels.com

Easy Check In and Out. Nice staff. Room was clean and quiet. Shower was great!

The room and bathroom were very clean. The beds were comfortable and linens were nice. I would stay there again.

Worth the price. Very pleasant front desk people. Better than average breakfast. Well appointed and clean.

The lobby was very nicely decorated and very welcoming. The desk receptionist was also very friendly and welcoming. It was a surprise when we entered our room and it smelled very stagnant and moldy. Carpet could have been alot cleaner, too. Looked like they concentrated on first impressions and did a great job, but now they need to focus on the rooms.

The lobby at the Comfort Suites Myrtle Beach is imaculate, looks brand new. The room was large and comfortable, but there were several stains on the carpet and the sofa was worn out, like a hole in the fabric. The complimentary breakfast was okay. Not a large selection, and they routinely ran out of items and were slow to replenish. The dining area was rather small. I would likely stay again, but it would be great if they could focus on clearing up these issues.

Clean Hotel / Convenient Location

Nice and clean hotel with good service. Located between Coastal Grand Mall and Broadway at Myrtle Beach. Only 5 minutes from the beach.

we really enjoyed our stay there this weekend. It was very convient to everything we had a competition to attend at the Convention Center and it was very convient to everything, stores, restaraunts, and the airport.

The outside and lobby area of the hotel were very nice - clean and beautifully decorated. The continental breakfast was very good, large selection of many items. The only complaint we have is the way our room smelled. We noticed that when we stepped off the elevator into the 4th floor corridor, it smelled like smoke (we had requested a non-smoking room). The room across from ours had the door open the entire time were were there with a fan going. Our room had a very musty smell. Allergies were aggravated. We later learned that the 4th floor was the "Smoking" floor. Because we only stayed for one night and we weren't there very long, we didn't request another room. However, the smell was enough for us to know that we would not choose this hotel again.

This hotel is excellent for staying in Myrtle Beach, but away from the beach crowd. Nice hotel and great service.
