Overall the hotel was excellent. It's in a great location, convenient for the trains and subways and with plenty to do around the area. It's modern, well equipped, the staff are friendly and speak good English. The only real complaint I have is that when I pay $300 a night for a room, I expect certain things to be included in that. There was a $20 charge […] to use the gym/pool per day and there weren't even any free tea bags or coffee in the room (these were charged at nearly $4 a time!). Do yourself a favor and stay here. Better than the Grand Hyatt. Get a tower room. It includes complimentary breakfast and lounge access with free happy hour and an amazing view. Free wi-fi as well. Huge room and amazing bathroom with deep tub and view. Seriously. Stop looking. Stay here.

My first stay in TYO was super thanks to my stay at Cerulean. First they were a direct stop on a "Limo" out of Haneda. They couldn't be closer to Shibuya without being directly in the middle of it so everything was an easy walk including the JR Station. The staff was great, never feeling under staffed, our "japanese" was welcome but everyone spoke English. […] There were able to answer all our questions about various travel and the room was great. We chose the city view over Mt Fuji as you might have guessed, the fog rarely lifted for that view. Enjoy! Read more

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, good size room Great shibuya location w great access to trains I paid $250 per night and was surprised at quality after hearing ao much about how expensive tokyo is. I avoided add-ons, wifi, gym, minibar etc as I sensed they were pricey. My room had awesome views as well. My only negative is that entrance is sorta off-putting […] due to elevated road and sidewalks in front of building. The sidewalks lead directly to the train station so it's worth it. Read more

The Cerulean hotel was a nice way to end our trip in Japan. The staff was very helpful to us. The rooms were very nice. We had a nice view of the city and Tokyo tower. The best part of the hotel is the location, just steps away from Shibuya Station. There are restaurants and shopping close by. Located a block from Shibuya station, but hard to find if you go out the wrong exit. NO ONE knows this hotel's name, so even if you have it written down in Japanese, even local police officers shrug. Calling the front desk doesn't help much either, because their English-language skills are poor. Also, even if you're looking right at the hotel and don't […] remember what it looks like, you won't find it because it doesn't have its name written on top. In other words, know what it looks like and be prepared to walk back to Shibuya Station and try again. Once inside, it's great. I highly recommend the executive floors, for the amenities and the view. One weird thing: there's no ATM inside the hotel, only outside at a 7-Eleven. Staff is exceedingly friendly, which is great. The hotel was clean and well kept up, and the staff were unfailingly courteous and very helpful. It took us about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to Shibuya Station, which made getting around Tokyo quite easy. The 7-11 attached to the hotel is open 24- hours, and has an international ATM, making it very easy to access cash. There is a pay phone on […] the B1 level that allows international calls with a calling card (with a machine for purchasing the calling card right there). The room was very large by Tokyo standards, and both comfortable and quiet. They do charge a fairly high daily rate for Internet/wireless; the weekly rate is a better deal for guests who are staying for a longer time. Right on point. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. If I visit Tokyo again, I will stay here most definitely. You can see the hotel from about more than 10 plus miles anywhere in the city. The Shibuya subway is literally steps away from the hotel. Hotel is at a great location near Shibuya station with all the amentiies a foreigner could hope for. The rooms were spacious, clean, and great services. It is close to a lawson station for the morning walk and provides a great view of the city. I may only stay at this hotel from now on when I am in Tokyo.

Wonderful stay. However, initially had problem locating the hotel from Shibuya station. Hotel was nice. The staffs were friendly. We were upgraded to a corner suite and it was very nice. The view of Tokyo was stunning. Wish they provided free wi-fi in the room though.

A very nice and conveinient hotel in the middle of Tokyo. Many places to eat and shop, although, if you dont' like the crowded streets and lots of people, won't recommend this area and hotel. Since the energy saving in Japan, there was no heating in the bathroom... would have been nice if there were.. Overall, a very nice place.
