The room was nice and walked right out to the patio where the pool was and right down to the beach. The view of the ocean was wonderful and we were on the first floor. The only issue we had was that it rained the entire time we were there so I could not walk on the beach. Not the fault of the hotel. The room was clean and I believe they are doing some updating. I would have stayed longer except for the weather. I would go there again.

Clean comfortable room inexpensive price hard to do better. Ok here's the Con's first - No ice machine, no hair dryer, and our Microwave turntable did not turn. Here are the PRO's - ON the Beach, heated Pool, nice hot tub, ON the beach, comfortable bed, full kitchen with full size Frig, ON the beach, lots of hot water in a powerful shower, its located at the end of the strip, so its out of the way from the lights and noise. To the West of the Hotel is just a 1/2 mile of beach with NOBODY on it. So your not snugged between two hotels. Oh did i mention its ON the Beach?

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a smiling staff with wonderful attitudes. Well priced and breakfast was a good suprise. Fresh coffee was available at 4am, (great when your early am fishing). I recommend to anybody.

Got off to a rocky start. Tried to check in 10 minutes before regular check in time. Was told my room was not ready but we could use the pool while we wait. Pool was small but we used it for about 20 minutes and then a huge storm came through so we had to get out. Still room wasn't ready even though it was past check in time. Had to wait in our wet […] bathing suits outside under an awning by the pool while it was still storming. An hour after check in time our room was still not ready. However, the desk clerk was able to move a room around that just became available and checked us into that one instead. Very horrible check in experience. However, once we got our room it was very clean and comfortable. The AC didn't get as cold as I would have liked but it worked. The elevator is slow. Breakfast was beyond what was expected with a wide variety of items. Even had waffles that you could make yourself...along with scrambled eggs, coffee and yogurt my breakfast was complete. Breakfast was great. Hotel location is a bit away from everything but, if you plan to visit St Andrews State Park this is a close location. Read more

When we checked in we thought we were going to be close to the beach. We were not, we had to drive every single day. The third day down, I was charged the full amount from the hotel after already paying the full payment once. The GM didn't offer anything but an apology for the inconvenience and it took a full day to recover my money once they admitted […] to being the one's who had made the mistake. The maid's were not very nice or helpful and on the last day when we were cleaning the room we found a pair of ladies undergarments behind the bed that did not belong to any of us. the stay could have been perfect if the A/C hadn't been so loud. It shut on and off all night and I couldn't enjoy the very comfortable bed. We made the trip despite storm warnings and the weekend went pretty good. Unfortunately, the hotel cable offerings were the worst we've ever experienced. Only 12 channels. Hardly any news, sports or basic cable […] channels. If they'd bump it up to 4-5 of each (news, sports or basic cable channels) maybe the lousy a/c wouldn't have seemed so bad. Read more

My family and I enjoyed our stay and will reccommend the Hampton Inn to all my friends and family when they visit Panama City Beach. The rooms were clean, customer service were friendly and professional. The pool and jacuzzi area were great. The location was perfect not being on the strip and close to a couple excellent resturants.

I loved this hotel. It had everything anyone would want. Oh I would have liked to had a balcony not a window. The food was excellent. The front desk was great. Some of the house keepers were very rude. The only mistake was bringing my sister along. She was very negative about the hotel. She's rich and has money. She's used to staying in a fancy hotel. This was a good stay! I always try to choose Hampton Inn because I'm guaranteed good service and a pleasant stay and I wasn't disappointed. It's located close to the big bay bridge and to many good restaurants such as Capt. Andersons, J.
