"over-night stay before cruise"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We really liked San Pedro Inn & Suites. It was perfect for our over-night stay before our cruise. The price that we paid for the room was a good value. The staff was friendly. We were suprised that such a good breakfast was included in the price of our room.

We were very pleased with the accommodations. Conveniently located with easy access to freeway.
"Impressed!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Have stayed at other hotels in the area and this was the nicest and least expensive. Up to date furnishing and t.v. Bathroom was nice, but hasn't fully been updated. Clean, good area, easy check in and out and included breakfast. (Ceral, muffins, bagels-butter no cream cheese, juices, coffee, teas and fresh fruit. About 10 minutes to Disneyland on city roads. Beds were comfortable and pillows were fluffy and nice. Will be staying here again.

Disneyland Resort looms large in Anaheim, also known for its divine baseball. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim play ball at Angel Stadium. West, in Buena Park, Knott’s Berry Farm is the area’s other major amusement park. Along the coast, crowds bask in the sun along Newport Beach’s boardwalk and historic pier. John Wayne Airport, Orange County’s gateway, is a popular alternative to the LA airport.

The room was clean and comfortable, with lots of extra room. It was a convenient walk to Downtown Disney (take a small short-cut through Disney's Grand California Hotel). On-site hotel had good food, reasonable prices and good service. Happy hour prices for an afternoon break make drinks and snacks much more affordable compared to Disneyland... Overall […] a great value over the Disney hotels for your visit to Disneyland. Read more
We had very noisy neighbors @ midnite...You staff acted promptly and I appreciate it.
"Nice hotel but kinda noisy"
The rooms were quite nice and very clean, location was good and convenient, but the walls were quite thin, and I could hear people in neighboring rooms walking around, kids' conversations from the next room, etc.
"excellent location"
Large, comfortable room. Good family dining in walking distance.
The hotels best asset is its location. It is a short walk to disneyland. Room was small and in need of updating. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Ok value for the money I guess.

"Fantastic"
I was so pleased on how convenient the walk to Disneyland was! The customer service was fantastic! Everyone in the hotel was very accommodating and very friendly! Only complaint was the Tangerine restaurant staff was very short in temperament but I will always comeback to Anabella Hotel!
"Very close to Disneyland and Convention Center"
I would recommend staying there for anyone going to Disneyland, it's just a short walk if you go through the Grand Californian Hotel.
second time here, loved it
The outside noise between people yelling and construction nearby kept us awake until 2 in the morning each night. The grounds' keepers would wake us up at 7 and 8 rolling their garbage cans around and the maid service would start knocking around the same time. Glad to be home so I could finally get some rest.
"LOVE this place"
This is truly a hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful, family friendly yet peaceful. The room is always spotless and the staff is always above and beyond. Resturants in and around hotel are great. The price is cheaper than most of the hotels and way above in quality. I dont know why anyway would pass this place up, I will never stay at another hotel, […] I plan my trips around avaliablility at this hotel! Read more
this is a beautiful hotel very close to Disney for the price. We loved the spaciousness of the rooms. Only NEGATIVES: walls are VERY thin, you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on around or above you, the restaurant has a great menu, but the buffett was not. i would def book here again, though.
"Dont Book Through Third Party Site"
We booked a three day stay at this hotel through a travel site. When on the site and on the phone with hotel we were told that we were booking a normal standard room for three days but what they failed to tell us was that because it was booked on a travel site we were not going to receive the basic amenities that are usually provided. We were in the […] hotel restaurant and refused the free breakfast all other tenants were given for their stay ( a 6 dollar credit for a continental breakfast.) we were also denied access to the hotel pool and hot tub. All in all the discount we recieved by booki g through a travel site was not worth the embarrassment and second class treatment. The hotel is in a great location and has nice facilities but the way they treat customers that book through travel sites is disrespectful and rude. As a result i will not be staying at this establishment again and instead stay at a hotel with better customer service. Read more
"Convention Center is Next Door"
Small but efficient, clean rooms. Light shows through blinds and I was concerned about privacy. Othwise, really enjoyed my stay.
"Very Close to DL"
Enjoyed our stay - but to pay for parking is a joke.... or another way to rip you off. I complained about it - but the answer was "we offer lower prices in our rooms - thus we have to charge for parking "..... bull. There is not cost to the hotel for parking your car on the lot..... so there is no need to charge for it. This was the only thing that […] really got to me. I added it up - for what the charged for parking and the money I spent for food - I could have stayed cheaper at the Embassy Suites ..... Read more

"Disney with the kids"
Great location- only about 20 minute walk to the front gate. The cost of parking is stupid. It's no cost to the hotel to have you park there - so why are customers getting soaked ??? Check out the Embassy Suite - they give you free parking, free breakfast, and when you add it all up - might be a few bucks more - but you get a better deal.
"Anabella Hotel - across from Cal Adventure"
Great facility - very clean and set up well for both families and couples with a family pool and an adult pool. Nice restaurant on site and very convenient walking location to Disney. Great price on Hotels.com
"Hotel California"
Awesome experience! Close to Diseyland, A.R.T. shuttle p/u and drop off right outside. Room was a little saml for the 3 of us but taking the price and everything in consideration, it was well worth the stay.
"Anabella Hotel across the street from Disneyland"
Nice location, you can walk across the street to Disneyland. The walls a paper thin though. Can hear every little noise from a cough to a sneeze and the unruly child didn't help in getting a good night's sleep.

"Noisy, Shabby, Oddly inconvenient to Disney"
Concierge suite very disappointing...the downstairs patio is on the parking lot and NONE of them have lounge chairs and tables in the picture. Had to be moved on night two to upstairs room because of noise from upstairs neighbors coming back from Disneyland late (like elephants). Walls are so thin we could hear the conversations next door (and upstairs) […] in both rooms. Hotel is situated so you have to make a Uturn to get to the closest street to Disneyland. The service in the restaurant was horrible and SLOW. In our first suite you had to actually punch in the numbers to change the channel on the TV. They did have alot of large rooms for families for cheap. I would say only book this hotel if you have a big family and plan to spend ALL day at Disneyland so you are the noisy neighbors. It was a little too far to walk and there are better hotels with quicker/more direct shuttle access. Read more
"Nice Surprise The Anabella!"
My children and I love to go to Disneyland. We have stayed at many hotels in this area, but we will stay at The Anabella Hotel from now on. When we arrived we all thought the hotel looked lovely and when we opened the door to our room we found a pleasant surprise. It was very clean, nicely decorated and roomy. My son loved the fact that he had his own […] room. The staff was professional, yet very nice and helpful. The hotel was very quiet even though it was a packed house for springbreak at Disneyland. We loved the family pool area, yet it was nice that they had an adults only pool area as well. The food was very good and reasonable priced. I feel the hotel is close enough to Disneyland to walk. The only thing to note is there is no elevator or ramp to second floor. If you have a stroller or have a hard time with stairs please request a room on the main floor. Other than that I think you would be very happy choosing the Anabella Hotel. Read more

"Walking distance to Disneyland"
Not really what I was expecting for being rated a 3 1/2 star and 4.0 ratings. Probably just my luck. Had problems with the hotel keys and had to make several trips to and from the room to the front desk and was very frustrated. We left early every morning but usually got back mid afternoon and the room still hadn't been cleaned so then since we were […] back, we didn't want to be interrupted with house cleaning. I realize it is big and lots of rooms, but I still expected to be serviced. I got a decent rate early and at last minute we decided to see if we could stay another night. They were accomodating with the request and still gave me a good rate, but not the same as the other nights I had already booked. Did not get walking directions at checkin and didn't realize it was until the next day after I had already spent $15 for parking at Disney. Also, didn't realize there is a parking fee at the hotel. Did not seem like a resort. Read more

"Close walk to Disney - Cheaper than Disney!"
This is the second time we've stayed at the hotel. Overall, it's nice, clean, and mostly quiet. There needs to be better sound barriers between the second and first floor (we were on the first floor this time and could hear lots of walking and stomping). We don't always get the room we reserved, I don't know if this is the hotel's fault or the website. […] We had a problem with one room and they quickly fixed it without any trouble though. The restaurant (The Tangerine) is the only thing that leaves a lot to be desired. The service is HORRIBLE. They are slow, get orders wrong, and often ignore us completely. However, the food is good, good happy hour, and prices are reasonable. Read more
"The Anabella - close walk to Disneyland"
We loved this hotel. it was clean, lovely, staff was great, and we calculated it only took us 16 minutes with small children to get from our door to inside the DL gate. Plus, it was a pretty walk. Staff was helpful, flexible, and room was always clean when we returned. We didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant, but it smelled delicious and they […] even serve poolside. Read more

"Over PAYED for everything"
This Hotel was very nice at a first glance BUT when we got there it was soooo small. We got the Kid Suite. It looks so big in the pictures and we were excited to have lots of room. Well I have never seen such small rooms. The main room was OK but the bed rooms and bath room so small. Them here come all the extra charges...Parking...Internet...AND the […] iceing on the cake, I ordered egg whites only with my breakfast and they charged me to take out the yoke !! That was a first for me, pay extra for less. LOL. Well that one little thing really topped it for me. I wouldn't come back. OH yeah and the noise was crazy loud from upstairs!! When I went to check out no one even asked how our stay was because I would have let them know.!!!! There are alot of other Hotels in this area I would do your reserch. Read more

"Annabella's hotel next to Anaheim Convention Cente"
The hotel was nice but the room was a little small. The hotel restaurant was great for dinner but my breakfast was cold and I had to ask 3 times for napkins. Other than the breakfast staff, the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful.
"Great Hotel next to Convention Center"
My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel. For the most part everything was great with the exception of the following: 1). The coffee pot didn't work. They brought a replacement to the room, but didn't take the old one. It took us a bit to figure out which one was the good one. 2). There were burned out light bulbs in the room. We called the front […] desk to replace them, but they never did. 3). This is the most important one of the bunch... When we checked in, we were told that there would be a $100 security deposit placed on our debit card. I had no problem with that. However checking my bank statement on the day we checked out, I found out that the hotel had made 3 charges of $100 each on my card. I was told it would take 5 to 10 business days for this to clear up in our bank account. That is unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. Read more

"Hotel Anabella"
The hotel was beautiful, however, we paid extra to have breakfast included in the price. We went to the restaurant, The Tangerine" for the breakfast, there were 8 of us. We were seated out on the patio, where all the tables were still cluttered with dirty dishes, except the one we were seated at. The waiter finally came over after about 10 to 15 minutes […] and asked for drink orders. He disappeared and did not come back for 20 minutes. My daughter finally got up and asked the manager if the waiter had forgotten us. When he came with the coffee and OJ, two of the coffee cups were dirty. All this time we waited, 1/2 hour, the surrounding tables still had no been bussed. He disappeared again before we could ask for clean coffee cups and after 10 more minutes, we got up and told the manager that we were leaving. The service was terrible. The restaurant definitely needs a lot of work as far as service. Needless to say, we went someplace else and paid for breakfast. The restaurant needs to train their wait staff and bus staff to do a better job. If our family ever stays at this hotel again, we will not pay the extra for a contentinal breakfast, we will go elsewhere. It's really a shame, because the hotel was wonderful, beautiful and very clean. Read more

"Not at all satisfied :("
1. 24 hour truck deliveries to the hotel were very loud. 2. The water in the tub/shower would not drain. 3. The room was stuffy and had a foul smell. 4. TV provided in room was old and had a terrible picture. 5. Convention center had early am scheduled activities (music)that inteferred with sleeping in.
"AMAZING!"
From the super friendly staff, to the location, comfort and wonderful and reasonably priced restaurant, this place was AWESOME! I was in town for an event at the convention center and let everyone know that I love this place and everyone I spoke with plans on staying at the Anabella next time they're in town!
"The Annabella hotel close to Disneyland!"
The only issue I really had was the toilet, they really didn't flush well. But other than that no other issues. Loved that it was within walking distance to Disneyland!
"Annabella"
good location, great pool, nice rooms. Charged $14 a day for parking that was never stated in booking or when we checked in. Good location.
"Annabella Hotel close to disney California"
Hotel setting is beautiful. The grounds are lovely and well cared for. The lobby and restaurant was full of character very spanish colonial. We liked the room configuration we booked a Casita family room. I wasn't impressed with the staff, they were friendly enough but when I asked for something they didn't seem to care much. Room was well planned but […] a little worn and didn't have any shampoo in our bathroom first couple of days. If they could improve quality of rooms and service there is potential to be a 5 star hotel. Too bad. For the price though I'd stay again. Read more
"Nice and clean"
We stayed here with our 3 year old who was really excited to have his own little room where the day bed is. The hotel is very pretty with nice grounds, pool side bar is cool. We were a little surprised about the $16 a night parking charge, that wasn't mentioned until sign in. The walls are thin definitely got to know our neighbors sleep habits. But […] overall the hotel was nice and clean, decently priced. About a ten minute walk to Disneyland entrance. Read more

"Excellent stay"
This hotel is beautiful inside and out, and the staff is incredible! We stayed for a Disney trip with the kids, but it will work easily as well for a romantic stay. I really like the idea of a separate adults only pool, and really want to go back for the live jazz!
