The bathroom tile was disgustingly dirty. The hotel was old, smelled stale and musty and the front desk help was far from helpful or friendly.

This property is convienent to the airport. That's about all that recommends it. It's quite tired regardless of the face-lift they are attempting. The mattress was too soft for me. ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE AND QUIET BUT NEEDED A LITTLE UPDATING. RESTAURANT ATTACHED TO THE HOTEL WAS VERY GOOD AND REASONABLY PRICED. SHUTTLE SERVICE WAS ON TIME WITH HELPFUL DRIVER. IT ALL WORKED WELL FOR US.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The staff members at the front desk were quick, efficient, and very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and there was a nice desk with chair, and two other chairs (one being a recliner) in our room. The bathroom was OK but the faucets to the sink and shower had some issues and the grout in the shower […] tiles was somewhat discolored. Both the room and bathroom were very clean otherwise. We really enjoyed the choice of either a continental breakfast (which was free and included freshly made to order pancakes), or an ordered breakfast (which you got $2 discount on). Breakfast is in a restaurant that is attached to the hotel and they also offer lunch and dinner. There is also a bar attached to the hotel. My husband and I stayed in room 357 for 1 night. We were in chicago for an amazing concert and since we lived over 3 hours away it was a good idea to get a hotel room for the night. Upon arrival we noticed the hotel was under construction due to renovations. That's great...It was clean and the staff was very friendly. I thought the bed was like sleeping on a cloud but my husband thought it sucked. Oh well...anywho the main thing that really ticked me off was every single vending machine was out of order but without an out of order sign. It wouldn't take dollars it wouldn't take coins it was pointless to even get thirsty. Just drink tap water. The front desk was selling 20oz bottles for $2.20...ouch If the vending machines would have been working we could have gotten some pepsi for only 80 cents. Fortunately I had some cans of Arizona teas in my purse. I had a few extra from an earlier stop at a gas station in chesterton. I would stay there again but with a cooler full of snacks and beverages. Avoid the shoeless joe's restaurant attached to the hotel. It's filled with warm beer, lousy food and ugly waitresses. Hotel was near Ohare airport and was dingy, dirty and well used. Renovations were in progress on he 1st floor and breakfast was in a nearby cafe. Air conditioner rattled through the night and a security light shone in the room all night. If you closed the drapes you covered the air conditioning unit in the wall. This hotel was very overpriced .

Very nice staff and good hotel to stay in. When I stayed at this Best Western they were remodeling the hotel. The room had a couple of issues but nothing to disrupt or make my visit unenjoyable. I very rarely heard jets taking off.

I have seen a lot of negative review for this place, but I had a great experience. My partner and I decided to go to Chicago randomly, so we didn't have the luxury of getting cheep rooms downtown. The Best Western was the best rate for a non-ghetto hotel, so we took it. I had nothing but good experiences with the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly […] and the rooms were clean. The shuttle drivers were friendly and mostly prompt with their 24-hour service. The hotel is within close shuttle ride of the Blue Line at O-Hare to downtown. Yes, the train ride is a solid 45 minutes, but if you want to be closer to downtown, pay the premium, don't complain about it. If you get back to O'Hare late, I recommend giving the hotel a quick call to make sure the shuttle knows you are there. Aside from that, I would say the only negative is that there isn't much AROUND the hotel, if you are looking to stay near the hotel itself. Read more

Very accessable to airport and most of all they have complimentary shuttle bus to airport. The only thing i notice, there complimentary breakfast is not in the hotel, you have to cross the street just to get your breakfast. It would be nice if the breakfast is serve within the hotel premises.

Hotel is undergoing renovation but not much construction going on, I was never bothered by construciton noise or inconvenience. Fitness center ceiling had a hole where they were re-wiring the electrics & that's about all the construction I could see. Fitness center has a water cooler and towels. Room was comfortable with a lazy-boy chair, office swivel […] chair and a 3rd regular chair. Internet is free and reasonable speed. Plenty of outlets with a power strip under the table. Bathroom has heat lamps if you feel chilled. Neighbors were smoking up a storm with some ganja, smoke was filtering into my room which wasn't cool, didn't report them as I wasn't quite sure where it was coming from, also hey, it's Lollapalooza weekend. Connected restaurant has somewhat high prices for food even using the Continental Breakfast coupon which gave $2 off my meal but the food was fine. A McD's is across the street (beware as there are no crosswalks and you'll have to dodge cars at the busy intersection). Giordano's delivers deep dish pizza right to your door from their Rosemont location. On Sundays there's a flea market at the nearby Allstate Arena, good for walking around and checking out stuff. Next to the arena is Target in a shopping ctr that has restaurants and such. Might be a bit of a walk for some. Shuttle service was right on time to take me to the airport (leaves every half-hour). Lobby has an outlet next to a couch so you can plug-in your laptop while waiting for the shuttle. Read more

I felt cheated that the motel was undergoing construction and we were not made aware of it before choosing it. The prices were definitely more than surrounding motels and the appearance definitely left a lot to be desired. The shuttle driver was nice. The desk staff were passable. The elevator was ancient and our room was on the third floor both nights, (we stayed on the way in and on the way out). The food at the attached restaurant was great for breakfast. There were more than a few bars attached to hotel which made it a little loud on Friday night.

We were not at all happy with our stay at the Best Western. They had a shuttle to and from the airport that they claimed would run at all hours of the night. We got in late (around 4am) and waited for the hotel shuttle, which never came. We called several times to the hotel front desk attendant who claimed he was contacting the shuttle driver over the […] radio and that the shuttle would arrive in less than 5 minutes. 45 mintues later... still no shuttle. It never arrived. We finally had to suck it up and pay $16 bucks for a 5min cab ride to the hotel. When we entered the lobby we told the desk attendant how unhappy we were about being stranded at the airport with the promise of a phantom shuttle. He avoided eye contact with us and rudely dismissed the conversation. We will not be booking here again! Also if you are planning to ride the Blue Line into Chicago its about 30mins of travel time incase thats helpful info for anyone. Read more

Very convenient to O'Hare and the park-n-ride L station. Didn't like that breakfast was not "in" hotel, but in the adjacent restaurant. Also, the elevator is very slow and smells like it's on fire. The bathroom needs to be upgraded with tile and a new tub. Water pressure was lacking.
