Great small hotel, well...let me take that back: the room is actually a small one room apartment, so is quite big, compared to a regular hotel room. The area is perfect with great restaurants and places to go at a walking distance, very safe too. I wanted a happening place with city noise, it was perfect for me, but if you need a silent place that does not wake the kids up at night don’t go there (I mean the neighborhood or Mexico city for that matters, not the hotel)

This century-plus aged hotel is stunningly beautiful inside. Look in even if you don't stay here. My suite was large and well appointed, but the AC didn't really cool the room and the bed was very squeaky. In short, it looked great but functioned a little less well. That said, I will stay here again on my next trip.

I thought the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was great for me because it was close to where I needed to be. 5 minute walk to a mall with a few American stores like Aldo and Guess, a movie theatre, and some restaurants. We were even able to walk and found a museum and site seeing. There was however construction going on in the hotel but it wasn't bad at all. They didn't start too early or stop too late.
Location.
Located in Mexico City (Polanco), Fiesta Americana Grand Chapultepec is close to Museo de Arte Moderno, Castillo de Chapultepec, and Monumento a los Ninos Heroes. Also nearby are Museo Nacional de Antropologia and Chapultepec Park.
Hotel Features.
Fiesta Americana Grand Chapultepec has a full-service spa, a health club, and a spa tub. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas (surcharges apply) and an Internet point is located on site. This 4-star hotel features business amenities including a 24-hour business center, a meeting/conference room, and a technology helpdesk. Dining options at this spa hotel include a restaurant and a bar/lounge. The staff can arrange concierge services, wedding services, and event catering. Additional amenities include a fitness facility, a steam room, and a sauna. For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request). Salammbo - Located on the mezzanine level, serving a hearty breakfast buffet and an extensive menu of haute contemporary cuisine, plus fine cuts of meat, fresh salads, soups, seafood, and international dishes. The décor is hip and contemporary, with dark wood walls, intimate banquettes, and music. Open daily from 6 AM to 11 PM.
Deco Bar – The hotel lobby bar has lounge seating, dark wood walls, and TV. It's a good spot for a casual drink before heading out on the town. Live music Tuesdays and Thursdays. Open noon to 1 AM.
Spa 19th is the place to be for relaxation, offering manicures and pedicures, aromatherapy, body treatments, massages and facials. Open Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 11 PM and on weekends from 10 AM to 6 PM. Guests under 18 are not allowed in the spa. Advanced reservations required for spa treatments and massages.

This is a great hotel with great service in a great location. The staff is very helpful and go above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care of as their guest. Although, the business center was closed, I called the front desk and they had someone open up the business center for me, this is not common. This is NOT my first stay at Fiesta Americana Grand Chapultepec in Mexico DF and I've been in over 40 countries but...they just keep me amazed. This time I forgot a little bag in my room and realized it only when I was already at the Airport with no time to go back. I called and the customer service person picking up the call sent someone to the room, […] confirmed it was there, brought it back to the Concierge who sent a taxi to the Airport with the bag. In exactly 22 minutes I had the bag with me on time to catch up my plane. If you add the extraordinary service at the restaurant, the reception, room service and the business center the result can only be an outstanding hotel in a very nice location, very well managed and with employees that have a clear understanding of what making you comfortable and feeling at home...really means! "Great option, multi-lingual staff"
Aside from the fact that there aren't a lot of restaurants in *close* proximity to the hotel (and a 15-minute walk will get you near plenty), this hotel was perfect for us. Staff was more than gracious, room was nice, and the park was right across the street. We'll definitely return.
"Watch Out!!!"
Even though this is a nice hotel, they charge for everything. The cost for internet was outrageous. Not to mention I asked them to call me a taxi for a 5am flight. But they called a chartered SUV that cost me twice as much as a taxi. Still not happy about that. The surrounding area is for the most part dangerousness.

"Nice Hotel"
Enjoyed my stay, but had some problems with leaking AC.Personel was very nice and helpful. Restaurant, was kind of pricey for a continental breakfast. Overall very happy, would stay there again.

"Terrible experience"
It was a terrible experience. I went to the grocery store to buy bottled water, evian to be precise, and the security guard took it away from me in a rude and exaggerated manner. The manager told me that no outside food or drink were allowed in the hotel, but a 12 oz water bottle in the hotel is 7 dls. It just gave me the impression that it was a business […] scheme to get you to buy their water. They were rude and impolite. I will never stay at this hotel again. Read more

excelente trato del personal, solo que al ofrecer subir cartegoria de habitacion y ofrecer el salon de coffe y hora feliz no especifican adecuadamente lo que ofrecen en ella, sobre todo lo relacionado a bebidas...gracias.

Reservamos una habitacion de mas que despues tubimos que cancelar y el Hotel no nos hizo ningun cargo por la cancelacion que se hizo varios dias antes, esto habla muy bien del hotel, ya que en algunos hoteles no puede hacer uno ningun tipo de cambio porque no regresan nada, estos hoteles estan desesperados por cobrar lo que sea aunque no tengan hue […] spedes. "falla tecnica"
el sistema de calefaccion fallo desde que arribe a la habitacion encendi el dispositivo y despues de 4 horas llame al tecnico y me dijo revisare el sistema, mas tarde empezo a funcionar el dispositivo.

El hotel está muy bien situado, cuenta con personal eficiente pero solo funcionaba un ascensor de los tres que hay. El internet era imposible para comunicarse desde la habitación y el centro de cómputo estaba cerrado por ser domingo.Las habitaciones son c´ómodas y bien decoradas y los taxis llegan bastante rápido.

El hotel está muy bien. La zona es linda y tranquila. De noche tenés que tomar un taxi para ir a zonas de restaurantes o centros comerciales mas o menos importantes. La atención es muy buena salvo que en 2 oportunidades entraron a mi habitación sin autorización estando yo adentro.

El servicio en general es muy atento y cordial. Sin embargo una muy mala impresión deja el servicio de aseo pues estan desde tempranas horas de la mañana timbrando o tocando en la habitación, llegando inclusive a entrar en ella al no obtener una respuesta por parte del huesped. ホテルの１７階で公園が見える側に泊まりました。予想通りチャプルテペック公園のすぐ側で眺めが良く、大満足でした。しかしながら、最初にチェックインした時に、「他の家族が部屋を変更したので、ベッド１台の部屋になってしまう」と言われ、妻と子供２人連れの私としては「予約した内容と異なる。ベッドは絶対２台必要。」と抗議しました。「１７：００には希望の部屋を準備できます。」と言っておきながら、結局変更できたのは１９：００過ぎでした。子供２人にアイスを与えて誤魔化しておりましたが、初日から立腹MODE突入となりましたので、サービス面での評価を下げました。他の宿泊客もチェックイン時にもめていたようなので、ホテルのシステム異常かもしれません。ちなみにシェラトンホテル側の日本食レストラン街へは徒歩１５分位掛かりま […] す。 Read more
"Excelente ubicacion y personal."
Excelente ubicacion, y sobre todo el personal muy amable y van mas alla por cumplir con todo. El unico detalle fue que al llegar nos dieron una habitacion sencilla con cama queen, no obstante que con mucho tiempo habia pagado por 2 dobles, pues eramos 2 adultos y 2 niños. Pero despues de insistir (y no ceder) me dieron la que habia pagado.

"Fiesta Americana Grand Chapultepec - Polanco"
Hyvä sijainti Polancon alueella, josta löytyy paljon ravintoloita, vieressä Chapultepecin puisto, josta löytyy järviä, eläintarha ja Chapultepecin linna. Jos hotellista saa huoneen näkymällä länteen (olen saanut useimmiten), niin siihen avautuu kaunis näkymä puistoon ja linnaan. Liikenne hotellin luona on melko vilkasta, vierestä menee Mariano Escobedo […] pohjoiseen Paseo de la Reformalta, joka vie taas keskustaan. Molempia teitä pitkin pääsee kyllä helposti kävelemään, kauppoja ja ravintoloita löytyy niin pää kuin sivuteiltä. Hotellilta saa myös helposti turvallisen taksin. Kilometri pohjoiseen Mariano Escobedoa pitkin löytyy iso tavaratalo Liverpool, siitä länteen löytyy paljon hyviö ravontoloita, mm. Puerto Madero (Presidente Masaryk katu). Hotellissa oli tilavat huoneet ja hyvä palvelu. Aamupala on hyvä, tosin buffet/a la carte, tosin aamupalan hinta vaihteli joka aamu 180-300 peson väliltä, usein 200 peson luokkaa. Jos haluaa syödä pihvin, niin läheltä saa edullisempaan hintaan, mutta kyllä hotellinkin ravintolassa ruoka oli hyvää, tosin melko kallista paikalliseen hintatasoon verrattuna. Read more

Excelente servicio, adecuado entre precio y calidad, solo un detalle te cobran el estacionamiento, y el internet en cuarto, estos servicios suelen ser sin costo en otros hoteles de igual calidad y servicio.
