Extended Stay America Seattle - Bothell - West - Bothell

I stayed at this hotel for three nights while doing business at a company in nearby Kirkland. I only had one problem with the hotel, but it was a fairly major problem. Upon checking in, it was obvious that the room had not been cleaned after the previous guest had checked out. The sheets on the bed were dirty, and there was quite a bit of hair throughout […] the room. Aside from that complaint, it was a nice room for the money. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds that I have slept in, and the wireless Internet connection was free and worked well. The complimentary breakfast is grab-and-go style and is stocked with assorted cereal bars and fruits. Given the positives, I would reluctantly give this hotel a second chance if the price was right, but if I ever got a room like this again then it would be the last time. On a side note, I recommend selecting a hotel that does not require you to travel on I-405. I-405 becomes very congested during rush hours. It took me two hours to drive from Bothell to Kirkland using I-405. It was a nightmare. Read more

Our first floor room was clean and in good shape. Our bathroom door would float three quarters of the way open unless we completely shut the door. Very frustrating. Next time I would request a different room. Breakfast is very minimal, but with a refrigerator, stove and microwave in your room it is easy enough to fix your own.

This hotel chain has come along way with their remodeled locations. We stayed at one in Denver locations about 8 years ago and swore we would never do that again. But with Seattle/Bellevue prices, this is a great alternative to try. We used to live in the neighborhood so knew the area was great. The room was very comfortable/clean/attractive and spacious. The front desk was great; patient, helpful, kind. It can be difficult to exit south, especially into the east bound turn lane from the hotel parking lot/access road because of the regular backup of traffic in that turn lane.

It was either staying in Bothel West or Lynnwood. Bothel West doesn't have the same traffic as Lynnwood because of the Mall. Lots of resturants and there is an Albertson's across the street. This hotel was adequate, but not great for the price. I was especially disappointed with the "breakfast", since I had booked based on it having a free breakfast. Unfortunately, I would not call what they provided a "breakfast". It was a snack, at best, and totally inadequate. We were there only for a short time each day and to sleep. Water pressure and hot water was almost nonexistent at sink in bathroom. Bed was comfortable--slept very well. Freezer was a nice suprise. We will most likely stay here again.

I live in Seattle but stayed here a few nights while my house was being renovated. Location is great. A variety of restaurants within walking distance and even more within 5 miles of hotel. Hotel was just renovated and was great. No pool, or business center but there is a laundry facility and they do offer free WiFi. The newly renovated hotel was clean, fresh, and modern. The staff was limited and therefore check- in took more time than it would have at a hotel with more staff on duty. The room was on the whole clean and tidy, but the fabric shower curtain had mold along the bottom - they should really wash them regularly and at the very least check them when they […] clean the bathroom... which made me wonder if they did thoroughly clean the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, the toilet sits VERY low, not sure if this was the case in all rooms, but mine was quite low . The walls / doors are not adequately sound proofed, I could hear people knocking on doors and shouting down the halls, and the room next door sounded like construction was going on in the kitchen area late into the night (at least til 11:30 pm), as I could hear banging and dishes smacking against one another. The area, while conveniently located, is close to a very congested intersection - making getting around time consuming and frustrating during all but the extreme off hours. The Grab & Go breakfast can not in any way be confused with a continental breakfast - it occupies a small buffet table in the lobby and consists of coffee, apples, and individually wrapped muffins, and granola and cereal bars. All in all a decent hotel at a reasonable price, you may or may not enjoy your stay depending on what you're willing to overlook and what's most important to you in hotel accommodations. Read more

The beds are dreadfully uncomfortable and the sheets are like sandpaper. The other problem is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear every door on the floor open and close. This is bad when people are up late making noise.
