Needed a night away and found a last minute great rate at Hotels.com after calling the hotel directly for a reservation and being offered more than I needed and wanted to spend. The room was perfect … one queen bed, immaculate, wifi, coffee pot, a great hot morning shower, and a complimentary breakfast bonus.

The room was so Tiny and I was very uncomfortable for an upgraded room..... I was surprised they charged my card two times for 149$ and a 10$ surcharge???? For what?? We left a 8$ tip in the room

The hotel is OK for a quick business stay. Overall it seemed like it needed updating, the bathroom sink was located right outside the bathroom next to the main entrance to the room which was very unusual. The appliances worked but were old, the beds an pillow were very firm. I would rate the overall condition much lower then your standard holiday inn. The location is good, but it is close to a highway and is very noisy. Both my coworker and I agreed that the hotel was old and noisy. There was also a very strange odor in the hallway? maybe masking a smoke smell?

The hotel is the usual Holiday Inn Express you find around the country. The hotel rooms are extremely clean and I have to tell you I looked hard for dust and mold in the hidden corners; I am a big fan of Hotel Rescue. The hotel staff are pleasant to deal with and have not had issues on my few stays at that location.

I stayed for a week at Holiday Inn, Braintree in Nov-14 for my classes at MIT. I specifically chose HI at Braintree because it was inexpensive, HI brand name and had breakfast mentioned in the site. I used to commute through the T to kendall Square. The nearest station (Quincy adams) & mall is 2-3 miles from the hotel. The travel in the T to Kendal took 35-40 mins but it's better than driving as traffic is horrible in Boston. The commute to station is a pain and once I had to wait 50 mins for the cab as all were booked in evening hours. The hotel shuttle functions from 9am to 5pm which doesn't make any sense...guests would invariably travel to Boston and having a cab 7am to 8pm is a must for it be useful. All said the front desk ladies were very helpful as we watched a movie and ordered Thai food based on their recommendations and all turned out to be Super !!!! All in all a good experience albeit they need to sort that shuttle service & wash basin in the bed room.

We stayed at the hotel the night before we went on vacation. The hotel is minutes away from the Braintree Logan Express. It was nice and clean, and did it's job for the night. No real thrills. The hotel appeared to have been renovated from an older structure.

It was a great hotel. Sheila at the front desk was very helpful and even provided information regarding subway stations and trolley service available into downtown Boston (which you don't want to get caught driving in). Breakfast was one of the best. The breakfast person went above and beyond by assisting a blind man with getting his coffee and breakfast. She was very professional and compassionate. Staff was outstanding and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Definitely would recommend for anyone wanting to visit Boston.

Visiting the south shore area recently and tried to find a room ... One of the only places was this hotel, and now I know why .... Carpet was dirty and smalle was of something very musty, moist, and old. Several staying here and all felt its was not worth cost, and was overall one of the worst they hv seen!!

We booked this hotel because of its free shuttle service but found out it only run 9-5:30 on weekdays and 9-4 on weekends. Most of time we ended up calling a cab. If you don't have a car, the hotel location is not very convenient. "Most" of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hot breakfast is not too bad. The room we stayed was clean.

I am a runner and much to my delighted surprise, this hotel is located directly next to Blue Hills Reservation, a huge park with miles and miles of great running trails. Also an easy five minute drive from the Quincy Adams T station (cheap parking and travel into the city). The drive to the city isn't bad either, only about 20 minutes even with traffic. Great breakfast, comfiest bed in the whole world; would recommend to anyone and would stay again.

The hotel was centered perfectly to all the places we wanted to go. It is very close to a huge shopping mall and restaurant plaza. Also was very easy to get to the MBTA train station to go into Boston. Was only 20 minutes from Gillette Stadium for our concert.The only downfall to the hotel is no pool. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The free breakfast each morning was good, it just needs to stay open longer than 9:30 am. It made getting down there on time a little difficult. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Initially we thought we had made a mistake, as it was in an industrial area and not much around it. But since our sole purpose was a convenient location to use the subway into Boston and to go to Cape Cod it turned out to be perfect! Great breakfast to get us started, clean rooms and fantastic staff (great job Meybel on the front desk!)...also a shuttle to the train station that was handy. Lesson learned, dont judge a book by its cover because this hotel turned out to be fantastic! Ps thanks to the Manager/Owner? For the directions back to Canada!!

I chose this particular hotel because it advertises that is has complimentary shuttle service to "select local attractions." What they do not say is that the hours during which the service is provided is extremely limited (mid-morning to afternoon/early evening) and that the "local attractions" are the nearby mall, the airport express stop, and the local T station (Quincy Adams). I ended up renting a car and regretting my decision not to stay at a different hotel. The two key cards I was issued had to be brought to the front desk every day I stayed because neither would open the door without being reactivated. The staff, however, were very friendly and accommodating and my room was comfortable and clean. So I can't say I was completely dissatisfied with my stay, but I was misled in terms of the availability of a shuttle and inconvenienced by that and the need to head back to the front desk after reaching my door every night to find that neither key provided access to the room.

We were in town to go to a game at Fenway Park and this hotel was close to the train station to ride into town.

Staff seemed fine; pretty good complimentary breakfast; exercise room lacking (only about three or four pieces of equipment: treadmill, elliptical, bike?); room was fine--no complaints, but nothing special either; overall a good deal for the Boston area

Stayed here one night before a business meeting. Hotel shuttle picked me up at the Quincy Adams train station. Only one restaurant close by. Very nice staff and hotel well run. Good breakfast.

We were so pleasantly surprised at the personal attention during check-in and when we opened the door to our room it was SPOTLESSLY clean. Wonderful in every way and we shall stay there the next time we have business in Boston - which is about 5-6x per year. The parking lot is well-lit and feels safe.

All over was fair to good. We arrived late out breakfast . Bit dog earred . Other Hexpress have been a bit newer fresher in feel and price a bit more costly then was expected. Pleasant enough for the one night stay.

usually when you think of holiday in you think cheaper hotel than Marriott or Hyatt and not up to date. this holiday inn was very nice the lobby was completely updated the rooms were nicer than expected and the staff was very friendly. the continental breakfast was what was expected but overall it was a great start!

Room was clean, comfortable, and cheap; service was outstanding. My only issue was that it was very out of the way. No restaurant in the hotel and only one small one within walking distance, located in a go-kart track. To get anywhere, you either need a car or access the MBTA station which was 2 miles away. Fortunately, they had a very convenient shuttle service between the hotel and MBTA station.

We stayed here to take the train into Boston to see a Celtics game. I was under the impression we could walk to the train station, but that was not the case. We had to jump back on the highway (which was very close) and drive one more exit out. So was disappointed in that.
