The location was great but the room was small (as are all in Paris). It had a little funky smell upon entering but when we opened the balcony windows, it was fine. The staff was very nice. Would stay in the area again, close to sights and Metro.

Excellent, excellent hotel located in a great spot along the Rue Monge: close to a lot of great places to go in Paris that aren't too-too touristy (Rue Mouffetard, La Sorbonne, etc.), and just a short walk from a ton of great bakeries and cafés. If you are more in tourist-mode for Paris, it's still only a short walk or Metro ride from most of the more […] popular spectacles (about 1 mile from Notre Dame, 3 miles from the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, 4 miles from the Arc de Triomphe). Loved this hotel. Not a hotel for those looking for luxury; room is small but definitely adequate. Front desk staff were all very helpful and fluent in English. Hotel is very close to Metro stops for two different lines, which is very useful. As soon as I booked my "Unpublished Hotel" booking I looked it up on the internet and was disappointed. Once we arrived, we were met at the counter by a surly staff member that never made eye contact. We went up to our room that didn't have room to walk and have bags on the floor. Des Nations St Germain is a nice hotel just down the street from the busy St Germain area. It is close to attractions and convenient to the train station. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff that spoke very good English as they heard we did not speak French well. We were given a map as we left for the day and suggestions of how to start our adventure in town. All of the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. This is a great value hotel if you are looking for an affordable hotel option in Paris. It is clean and provides just enough room if you plan on just using the hotel to sleep and refresh. It is walking distance from some of the major sites in Paris and the hotel staff was very friendly.

The Hotel was what could be expected for the average 3 star accommodation, it was somewhat overpriced but I guess that's paris for you? The reception staff ranged from rude to really helpful. The area is nice and very close to the metro station, with regular service to most of the tourist attractions, via connections.

Great hotel in a great location for exploring Paris, Plenty of resturants, cafes and shops in the area. Rooms a little on the small side but spent so little time in the room it was not a major issue. Staff were excellent. When we return to Paris we would re book this hotel with no concerns.

People make the place and the the concierge (espcially Julian) was always helpful and friendly. the hotel was clean and fresh, although the twin room was small the windows were double glazed, hallway carpeted & walls insulated so we had a peaceful nights sleep. A place to visit again and again.

Ficamos no sexto andar e o ar condicionado nao estava funcionando. reclamamos e nos mudaram de quarto. Os quartos sao pequenos, mas se voce ja sabe disso antes de ir, vai se acomodar bem. AS camas sao confortaveis. roupa de cama e travesseiros bons. banheiro ok. localização boa. funcionarios prestativos. Supermercado pertinho e fica entre duas linhas […] do metro o que facilita o deslocamento ate os pontos turisticos. A rua e provida de restaurantes e os que ficam ao lado (otima pizza) e em frente (comida boa) ao hotel sao bons. o quarto oferece cafeteira, acucar, cafe soluvel, leite (10ml por pessoa), e isso ajuda a quem nao pegou o quarto com cafe da manha incluso. O carrefour ao lado é otima opção para comprar pao, queijo, agua, refrigerantes, vinhos etc. O Carrefour vende tambem saladas prontas para consumo e ate mesmo frango assado com batatas (almoço) por preços bem abaixo dos restaurantes de Paris. Relativt rimelig hotell, sentralt! 10-12 min gange til Notre dame. Vi følte at vi bodde på i et bra område med tanke på nærmiljøet, mange barer, restauranter, men ikke mye bråk. Fransk balkong med dører som gikk helt opp, det var et pluss. Lite rom men gode senger og bra bad. Veldig hyggelig betjening som snakket engelsk. Hit kommer vi tilbake!
