Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Beautiful view. Could watch the Friday night entertainment & fireworks from our room. Room was very nice with a great bed. Total resort is very large with a number of Hilton Hotels on one property. Beach was close by.

They are offering different packages to come see their resort. Make sure you get the 20,000 points, luau, $50 resort spend and $200 off another stay within 6 months. We stayed in room 491 and the only view is of a roof, trees and another building. The bathroom is so tiny and there is no stands to set your luggage on. This is an "average" at best hotel room. I expected more from a Hilton Brand. It is 5:52pm and I can't have the door open due to all the bells, whistles and truck noises. All that money for a crappy room. I can't wait to move on to Maui! There is a Mandatory Resort Fee for $30.00 a day and parking fees for $27.00 a night. This place is not for a light hearted traveler. Go someplace that you can get your money's worth.

There is nothing Grand about this place. Our 2 bedroom unit has a good view and NOTHING ELSE. The furniture and carpets are filthy and worn. Appliances are old. Housekeeping is done once weekly. The pool is full of screaming, snotty nosed brats and their horrible parents who think it's fine to have their babies paddle around in dirty diapers. We were told room service is available, then no, then maybe, and finally that room service consists of someone running your order up to the room from the terrible deli near the main pool. Worst of all, Management thinks it's just fine to hold very, very loud functions directly outside your windows until 10 pm. ( and the noise after that when everything is taken down and carted away) without any mention that you might be inconvenienced by the ear splitting bad, bad bar band. They do not care about you, the paying guest. Some staff are really rude, ie the doorman didn't thank me for the 3 bucks I gave him just to open the taxi door for me. He just slammed the door and walked away. Wish we could have done same. I wouldn't dream of buying a timeshare at this dump.

We stayed a week at the Hilton Grand Vacations in November 2014. I had priced several different hotels along with comparing the different rates/ room choices at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We have 3 young kids- 1 needing a daily nap. We were so close to the beach, restaurants and shopping it was easy to bring the kids back for naps or shower off the sand! The location and amenities made the HGV worth every penny. We had a 2 bedroom suite and the luxury of not being on top of one other in the hotel was awesome. The master bedroom had a King bed and own bathroom with large closet. The second bedroom had 2 full size beds for the kids. We loved being able to sit on the lanai and watch the fireworks. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Note: The HGV building has its own check in so there is no waiting on some of the crowds at the regular check in. Elevators were fast and although I thought we were to have a laundry in our room, it was right down the hall and free. Note: they provide laundry detergent as well, so no need to pack or buy it (like I did.) My kids loved the lagoon and the rentals. The pool, however, was too cold and crowded for any of us- so stick with the white beaches of Waikiki, just a stroll from the back door of the hotel. The hotel was completely family friendly as we loved the Saturday movie night on the Great Lawn. My more conservative husband even admitted the convenience was worth the money. Tip: the parking garage is close to this building so pass on the valet- it takes longer to wait and except the stairs, it doesn't take any longer to walk to the valet station vs. the garage.

We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Resort Lagoon Tower. We had an ocean view and beach front access. Absolutely wonderful! The suite had a full size kitchen, living room, two ocean view balconies. Everything was in working order. We didn't hear any noise from our neighbors. Most nights, you do hear the music playing down at the lawn, but it stopped after 9pm. The location is great, only 10 minutes walk from the Ala Moana mall, 5 min from bus stop, many shops, restaurants and the beach a short walk away. The staff were courteous and helpful.

This resort is very family friendly and has a convenient location to the ocean and all water sport rental companies. Convenient location to family friendly restaurants and shopping. We would recommend this hotel for family, couple or single travelers.
"too busy of a place"

just to busy of a place for us. we like vacations were its more secluded. other than the 27 for parking per night, no complaints be ready to pay honolulu prices. great location with a private lagoon and small shopping mall connected to the hotel. the place is kept up well and all the workers were very friendly. great beaches but thats about it
"Very nice property"

We stayed at the Hilton Suites with some friends and had a wonderful time.. The place was very clean and the rooms (2 bedroom) had plenty of room.. The staff was friendly and the service was on par for what you would expect. Plenty to do in the area even though it is a little crowed.. Lot's of restaurant options in the area within easy walking distance so you will never have a shortage of food.. Nice beach but again a little crowded so get out there early.. The sunsets were gorgeous. We do prefer some of the other Islands but if you are picking this area the Hilton is a very nice place..
The resort itself is great. I will neveer return. I was here christmas - new years. Everything was supper over crowded. It felt like i never left LA. The beach is great but the reef is practically dead from all the resorts and boats. Restaurants and food are sub par. If you are looking for a relax vacation go to Maui.
