The Exchange - Decorated in Art Deco style, this light-filled restaurant serves Irish and international dishes for lunch and dinner. It has a popular Sunday jazz brunch. Guests also take breakfast here.
The Atrium - This soaring, glass-ceilinged space in the center of the hotel has marble floors, a bar, and a selection of sofas and armchairs among the palm trees. Afternoon tea is served here and complimentary newspapers are available.
The Mint Bar - Downstairs from the lobby, the Mint Bar was the vault in this former bank building. The original vaulted ceiling and slate floor remain, and dark wooden paneling surrounds the central bar. A light lunch menu is offered. Black-and-white photos on the walls show how the room looked in its banking days.

Temple Bar is still devoted to eating, drinking, entertainment, and shopping. By day, it’s an arty alternative hangout; by night, groups of partying tourists make it a rowdier haunt. Near the famous Ha’penny Bridge, Merchants’ Arch retains some of the area’s atmosphere from a century or so ago.

We were offered an inside atrium facing room or an outside street facing room. Sadly, we chose the atrium facing room which was warm and stuffy. The AC if it had any was not available and the windows were useless. For the price, I think you can do better.

This hotel is in the heart of Dublin. Minutes from Temple Bar, St Stephen's Green, and Grafton St you couldn't ask for a better location. It's easy to get out and walk around or hop the train (Tara Station is a few blocks away) and head to Belfast or Howth or some other destination. The hotel was lovely - just what I expect from a Westin. Comfortable, American style rooms with a large bed and beautiful bathroom. Absolutely worth every penny. We'll stay there again when we return.

Loved everything about this hotel. The bed and pillows were superbly comfortable. The location was in the heart of Dublin, conveniently located near everything. The staff were extremely helpful on a number of items both relating and not relating to our hotel experience. The price was extremely competitive, especially when taking into account the experience received. Absolutely highly recommended. Our second Westin stay and thus far, we are big fans!

We loved this hotel and the location (right next to Trinity College and walking distance to shopping and Temple Bar). But, the room was not cleaned very well during our entire stay (hair in the bathroom, crumbs on the floor etc.). Also, steer clear of the room service ($30+ dollars per person for breakfast). Overall, we were happy and would stay there again.

We stayed two nights at the start of a three week trip driving around Ireland, and two nights at the end of the trip, when we could compare this property with many others all over the country. It's a fine hotel, after all it is a Westin, but the staff are beyond wonderful. They simply couldn't do enough for us, including unloading our rental car at rush hour, giving directions for its return, and when we arrived, our luggage was in the room we hadn't even checked into yet! Try to get a room on the Trinity College side, it's much quieter. We'll stay here again.

On a 23day trip through Ireland (our first)this was our first and last stop, two nights each time. First time, we were overwhelmed with the "what else can we do" attitude. After experiencing that attitude all over this wonderful country, we were still mightily impressed with the professionalism and competence of the staff, and the excellent condition and location of this hotel. Temperature controls are not always controlled from the room, but a call brought immediate response. A call, however, is necessary, even to be able to open the windows, which provided a magnificant view of Trinity college on our side.

This hotel is centrally located close to the Grafton St and Temple Bar areas. The neighborhood is VERY walkable with all kinds of pubs, restaurants and shops close by. Our deluxe room was large and comfortable with a king size bed and large bath - not the standard European size room. Room was internal (no outward facing window) and it was quiet. Would've loved to have had an outside facing window (but did enjoy the peace and quiet). We didn't interact a lot with the staff - our stay was smooth. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Dublin!!

I was in Dublin for only 1 day on 12/30/08. I had never been to Dublin and obviously didn't have much time. Check-in for the hotel is at 3pm. I arrived at 7 AM and they immediately gave me keys to my room (8 hours early) which was awesome. The location of the Westin is perfect - adjacent to Trinity College and Temple Bar (a section of Dublin where there are many restaurants and bars). I highly recommend the Westin if you're going to be in town.

Ask for a room near the "Trinity College" side of the property. It is much quieter than the rest on a busy street. Although the staff was quite young and green, they did manage to get us reservations at the Winding Stair within a moments' notice which is a 5-week wait for a table.

The Dublin Westin provided us the perfect first trip to Ireland. The location is perfectly settled in the city center, providing you easy walking distance to sights and events in the amazing downtown area. Pubs, restaurants, museums, tours and more are all right in the neighborhood. We can't wait to get back to Ireland on our next trip overseas, and we will definitely stay at the Westin again. Their service was excellent and the concierge helped us each and every day on ideas for trips to Howth, restaurants in the area and more.

From the doorman to concierge to room service to comfort, I cannot fault the expereince (and I don't say that lightly). Having lived in Dublin for 15 years, I can recommend the location too as ideal - for O'Connell Street and Grafton St./Trinity/Stephen's Green access in city centre. Expensive, but not overly so for the quality/service.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Close enough to walk to many things if you chose to do so. Now having said that, two of the four nights I stayed here I could hear yelling and screaming on the street below. The service left something to be desired. I ate in all three restaurants. At two of them, I had to get up and get my own menu and ask for my check. At the third, I arrived for breakfast and was told they were "almost" closing but they would serve me. Was the comment to encourage me to eat fast... I would describe the rooms as above average but not worth the money I paid.

Let me admit up front that I am not used to staying at 5 star, or even 4 star hotels. I got this one when a different hotel cancelled at the last moment and hotels.com upgraded me and paid the difference. Fantastic service from hotels.com! The Westin is a nice hotel but if you don't have money to burn you'd be happier in a less pricy option. Breakfast is not included, and runs $30 at the current exchange rate. Phone calls are $7 a minute and a movie runs over $20 on the TV. Perhaps the people who stay here like these prices to keep the riffraff out, but as a member of said riffraff I'd recommend staying in a 3 star. Several 3 stars I booked through hotels.com offerred a similar room with breakfast included and the extras (such as mini-bar) didn't break the bank.
