"Excellent base to explore greater Miami"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
Hotel staff very friendly. nice lobby, good breakfast with fresh fruits and no plastic dishes. After complaining about the size of suite we were sold for 5 persons (definitely too small and not a fair sale) we were given complimentary upgrade to a two bed room suite by the manager which was very much appreciated. Free parking and free wireless internet are very convenient as well as close access to highway and airport.

"Comfortable, clean, & close to the cruiseport"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Free shuttle to the hotel from airport. Nice exercise room and pool. Room was very comfortable, staff friendly, and hotel was well-maintained and clean. Shuttle provided by hotel to points of interest and cruiseport. Definite return stay next time catching a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale.
"close to the beach"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012

"My stay at Extended Stay"
My stay at Extended Stay in Miami met my need .No extras .Not even a wake up call was available.I ask for the shuddle that the hotel provided but although they drove right past the James Knight Center refused to take me.The lady at the desk was clocking out as I was leaving for the meeting and offered me a ride and went out of her way to take me.I was […] blessed.Very nice people operating the desk.I would recommend Hotels .com because I had no trouble checking in and since everything was paid for they only held a card for their convence and I was pleased with that.I will use Hotels.com again in the future. "Very good hotel but ..."
The hotel facilities were very good - clean, comfortable, quite, etc. The only complaint I have is that my reservation from hotels.com did not show up when I arrived at the front desk. I had to call hotels.com and it took a while to sort it all out. Apparently, hotels.com had my first name wrong when they sent the reservation to the hotel. Other than […] that, it was a very good experience. Read more

"comfortable"
the room was clean and comfortable, although the TV could have been bigger. Easy access to the Metrorail so we were able to access our destinations without renting a car. Our original fifth floor room was affected by the air from the upper floor smoking rooms, but we were moved to the third floor and had no further issues.
"Check In Nightmare!"
Although the hotel was clean and in a decent neighborhood, the staff was a nightmare! We had booked a King and was told upon check-in they were no longer available, (We arrived before4PM). No assistance was provided other than to contact Hotels.com. The front desk clerk was rude. He ignored me for over 5 minutes as I stood there, thinking he was trying […] to accomodate our fully paid reservation. He finally spoke when my husband arrived. When asked what he was doing during that 5 min wait, he replied, "I was wondering why you were still here. Nothing is going to change." I'm unsure if they refused to accomodate our full reservation due to the fact we booked via a third party or because of our pet (small dog). When I asked for additional pillows, he refused to accomodate my full request; only offering 2, stating he was limited. ( Later that night, my husband was allowed the additional 2 originally requested by a different clerk.) I would definately not return, despite the fact the room was okay, just because of the "hospitality of the staff". I guess here booking via a "third party" meant you were "THIRD CLASS"! Read more
paid for room for hubby and me 3mnths in advance for 1 king bed...came in no king bewd available only 2 twin???????????dosent work for me,front desk says sorry kings are all booked up,not my fault when i booked it they took the money!!!!never go thier
"Really Nice"
The hotel itself is in Downtown, which is really convenient. The room was clean, the hotel was in good shape, and the staff was really friendly. There's also a Walgreens across the street which is great since the room had a fridge, microwave, and even plates/utensils.
"Just okay - Extended Stay America Miami"
My family and I went to Miami for the Miami Heat Basketball Finals weekend. The first room that they gave use was terrible. The window was open, a fan was blowing on the ac and their were tons of paper menu advertisements all over the floor. When I went to the front desk to complain I was told that they only had 1 double left on the 6th floor in which […] some rooms were smoking.I took the room which was better than the first, however there was a slight smell of smoke but I had to make do for the weekend. Luckily we only used the room for sleeping. The rooms are dated with flat pillows, 1980 bubble back tv's and the same ugly red bed spreads shown on the ad. The staff was very nice and polite but I would not stay here again. Read more

"Smelly"
As soon as I walked in the hotel it smelled moldy, im guessing the air conditioner was leaking since there was a fan facing it, that was really the only thing that bothered me but then again that is a bad thing since that smell could probably affect my lungs in some way. If that wouldve been fixed I wouldve rated this hotel 4 stars since it was a good […] location. Read more
There is no pool! you can't check out late! the Mattress were very old there was other guest hair in the sheets!! I felt like if there was bed bugs crawling all over me at night!!
"Stayed for Ultra 2011"
We stayed here for 3 days during the ultra music festival and it was a great crash pad after dancing all day in the Miami sun. There was a Walgreens conveniently within walking distance so thats where we got our food and water for the three days. The only downpoint was that they were checking people in starting at 3 PM, which was ridiculous, and we […] got there at 9 AM!!!! Besides that everything was great and the room was good for 3 days. We stayed two nights here this last weekend for Ultra. The hotel was clean and convenient to a walgreens across the street and the free Metro runner is 2 blocks away. The room is a little small considering that it has a full kitchen. I did not like that we had to go downstairs and ask exchange our dirty towels daily, but otherwise it was a modern and […] clean room for the price we paid. Most hotels triple their prices during Ultra Music Festival for disgusting rat hole hotels, so it was nice to see a newer hotel for a decent price. Also, since there were many other Ultra guests, we walked in groups to and from the train and felt safe. Read more

"Good value - great location for the price"
Hey - it wasn't the Taj Mahal, but we were not there to hang out in the room. Great price, killer location and the staff was great. If you can overlook lilac walls and yellow tile floors, this place is the bomb!
"The Extended Stay in Miami-Brickell"
The staff was very nice to us upon our arrival. The only complaint about the room was that the bed was in disrepair. But for the price and location (close to the Port) it is okay.

"Best place to stay if looking for value"
Good place to stay . WE stay here all the time when going on a cruise, as we can leave our car here. This time we went on two cruises and did laundry on the off day. They gave an early check in. cab ride was less than $20
"Extend stay Miami.. Brickell"
The Hotel was OK... but I want more care.... coffee in the morning... room stratened every day... I guess I didn't understand that we were on our own. Don't order "take in" from the flyers on the floor... the food was not eatable... but that was not the hotels falt., but they did let people in... to place the flyers, so not a very secure hotel.

"Great Place"
We stay here when going on a cruise when we drive to Miami. You can park your car here for no extra cost while you are on your cruise. The sare clean and the staff was very helpful. We did laundry before we went on a second cruise. Great place to stay if on a cruise. Not a of frills just a place to sleep before a cruise
"Taxi driver's dream"
This hotel is OK if you just need a place to sleep and don't plan on going out. There is nothing nearby. I stayed for 1 night before my cruise and spent $10 each way to take a taxi to the port area for a Heat game and to hang out at the Hard Rock in the Bayside Marketplace. Then $10 the next day to get to the ship. Spend the extra money to stay closer […] to the port. Read more
"Extended Stay America in Miami"
This hotel is worthy of its star ratings. Building is old and could use some upgradings of furnitures and room decors. However it does have friendly staff, and good for the price. Good location in middle of the city. Well worth the money it charges per night.
Great location, comfortable rooms, great price!
"I would recommend"
Great service. Hotel was clean and look great inside and out. Front desk was fast and answered all my questions. Neighborhood was a little scary at night but the hotel was very secure wrapped around security fence with gate.
"Bare-bones hotel"
This hotel was very bare-bones. No extras AT ALL. If you're just looking for a place close to the port and only staying for one night, it's fine, if you can find it. There were no vending machines (that we could find), couldn't find the ice machine, and there was no food anywhere close by. We ordered food from a flier that was under the door and the […] flier said they took credit cards. Then when the food arrived we were told they didn't take credit cards so we had to send the food back. The TV looked like it was at least 20 years old and the remote barely worked. You also had to pay for internet, which most hotels now offer for free. We were planning to leave our car there during our cruise we were leaving on the next day but after looking around at the neighborhood, decided not to. The parking lot is not gated or anything. I would not recommend this hotel unless you just want a bed for the night before your cruise. Read more
"Nice and roomy...."
The room was nice and clean...and very spacious. It was nice to have a full size refrigerator...even though I didn't need it...this time. The only event the disturbed my rest was a very loud car in the parking lot. This darn car kept revving and revving it's engine...young boys I imagine. But...this is not the hotel's fault. Otherwise...nice room for […] the money....who needs Q-tips and silly extras! And...it was free parking! Read more
"Extended stay brickell street"
Great hotel, friendly staff a block away from metro mover to take to bayside & bayfront. Great resurants within walking distance.
"Not bad for one night"
Not bad at all. Free parking was a plus, $25 a night at most places. Good hotel for the money
"The hotel was just ok........."
I was pleased that I did not have to pay for parking and that we were within walking distance to the metro mover to head to downtown. I was however disappointed in finding the toilet brush in the toilet when we arrived and dish towels and cloths that smelled like they had been simply folded and put back as opposed to being replaced with new, clean ones. […] The TV was about a 13" and the reception was horrible. Luckily we dind't stay in the room long because we haeaded to south beach and then the Heat game for my son's 16 birthday, but honestly I expected a bit more for the price, regardless if it was downtown Miami or not. I've stayed in South Beach with classier rooms for the same price or less. Read more
"great room for the money"
Everything was on my expectations for a hotel like this. I mean, at least was clean and worth what I paid for
"Room Not Clean"
Room wasn't as clean as I would expect
"Ok room for money"
The ladies at the front desk never greeted us when we checked in because they were so into their other language conversation. She gave me the key and did not say anything, but kept talking in spanish to her friend. Then when I came to ask for more pillows the lady said she could not give me any unless I gave her mine. The hotel was conveniently located […] by a Walgreens which was nice, and the room was ok for the price. Although the guest service could have been much better. Read more
"I Love This Hotel"
I would recommend to any if you are going on the ship or anywhere near downtown to stay at this hotel it was very convience it is gated your car is very safe our chek-in lady Maria was very nice and helpful she even gave us of map of how to get back to our designation. I do plan to make reservation at this hotel again,
"The hotel Extended Stay in Miami is in downtown"
Extended Stay is quite close to almost everything in the downtown area of Miami and easily accessible and very cooperative staff I will stay definitely again with the family in this hotel as it has quite nice attached kitchen with almost everything essential for us to spend time in the downtown Miami.
"Extended Stay America Miami"
This hotel is a fine budget hotel. The reception staff are helpful. There are a few shops and cafes nearby. The city centre is about 30-45 minutes walk from here, alternatively there is a bus route close by.
