Rooms are tiny and cold. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the adjoining rooms. My sons room had patched holes (4 large) in the bathroom doors. Convenient to the Eiffel Tower and Metro, nice neighborhood, but very expensive stay for less than average accommodations. Would not consider staying here again.

The lactation was great. We even had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our room. The hotel was nice, hey even let us chech in early. Our room was small, just big enough for a queen bed, small desk and a small bathroom. This room would be considered a sub compact if it was a car. On our second night I asked for a recommendation for a restraint that served french food. The desk clerk couldn't suggest any within walking distance, which may have been the case but left me little dissapointed. The hotel is very cute and about 5 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. Cute neighborhood. The rooms are very small. For a longer stay it would be too small but for a couple of days just fine. Definitely recommend it. The staff is very nice and speak perfect English for those of us who, unfortunately, do not speak French.

Honestly, if you're in Paris you shouldn't care what your room looks like or how big it is. This hotel is perfect for having a place to sleep and shower. The rooms are small but then again how much room do you need to sleep and shower. The people who work here are nice and helpful. The wi-fi is free which to some people is a big plus. LOCATION: I would definitely stay @ this hotel again! it is in an amazing location close 2 everything! Eiffel tower is less than a 5 min walk from the hotel. U can also walk 2 Champs Elysse from the hotel although it is a bit of a walk over the bridge. If you r not into walking the #42 takes u there and the #72 takes u right 2 the front door of Louvre […] Musuem. U can also take the metro #1 to Champs Elysse & Louvre Musuem. The buses & metro r close 2 the hotel. Eiffel tower lights up for 5 min each night every hr...so 6 til 6:05, 7 to 7:05 etc but it is lit up @ night all the time just not with the blinking Christmas lights. The Hotel is nice very small rooms but then most of the hotels in Paris are. There is a hotel shuttle available from the Airport for but u have 2 call the hotel directly 2 set that up ahead of time. There are taxis that go 2 the hotel. Surprisingly so many people speak English so it ws never really a problem getting around people were very helpful. Just make sure to say thank you. "Merci" The taxi ride should cost you around 60/65 euro from the airport to the hotel. Make sure to get Euro before you leave home for the ride from the airport. There is an exchange counter at the airport , bank or ATM is your best bet while in Paris. Travelers checks didnt work well for me because there was no place around the hotel to cash them in, but the ATMs worked just as well as the bank. Vita is a hotel employee and is super helpful! From check in to check out, the service staff was very friendly. The hotel itself is located in the 7th arrondissiment near Rue de Grenelle and Rue Saint Dominique. Fantastic restaurants and shops (boulangerie, boucherie, chocolate store, grocery store, fruit store) everything you need steps away from the hotel. The transportation accessibility is perfect...metro, […] bus, train. The only downside to the hotel is the lack of luminiere in the room I was in. This hotel is a dump. Dirty and it hasn't been renovated in 100 years. No air condition, climate control doesn't mean air condition it means heater. The bathroom door had holes the size of a fist that were very poorly patched with white plaster and left it white, didn't bother to paint over it. The shampoo envelop was dirty on the outside. Great hotel in a relatively quiet neighbourhood, nice decor and atmosphere, multilingual staff. The rooms are the typical size for Europe, bathrooms recently renovated, the bed was very comfortable, no sagging mattress, flat screen tv with channels in several languages, free wi-fi (although it's cumbersome to have to get a password for each device every […] day). The elevator stops between floors rather than directly at every floor, which forces you to walk a few steps with yout lugagge to your room. Five or so rooms per floor, all with windows to the strret.The staff was mostly helpful and knowledgeable, especially a delightful young woman from Lithuania named Vita; she recommended and gave us directions to nearby restaurants, bars and markets which were excellent and fun.The neighbourhood is mostly residential with the usual abundance of cafes, brasseries, bars, restaurants and small grocery stores that cater more to neighbouhoors than tourists. Around the corner from the hotel there is a cozy cafe/bar full of locals and offering an amazing french breakfast for a reasonable price. Close by there is a couscous/pizza restaurant attended by the owners who make you feel like a true parisian. A couple of blocks away, on Rue Cler, the locals from the 7eme. arrondisment shop, gather, relax, dine and have fun with hardly a tourist in sight. Came to Paris to see the Monet showings. Stayed here because of location between Grand Palais and Marmottan. Also because it's just a few minutes walk to the Tower, Tomb, and Rue Cler. Some rooms only have enclosed courtyard windows. Breakfast is expensive unless packaged. But plenty of bistros, patisseries, and delis nearby. Starbucks a few blocks on Ste. Dominique. Floors were dirty, lights were out in hallways, bare light bulbs were hanging from wires coming out of the wall. Carpet was dirty, and we had to request a fan for the room because or room opened into a courtyard (fire hazzard) and there was no breeze at all from the window. There was also no view at all, other than looking into fellow travelers rooms […] and you could clearly hear everything that was said from the rooms opening into the courtyard. However - on the bright side, our room was a decent size and there was hot water in the shower. The toilet worked ,so that was all good. It was a good location and close to Rue Cler and Eiffel Tower. We paid for 2 twins but got a double bed. We negotiated for a cup of coofee for 2 euro but they charged our room 12 euros for a cup of coffee (24 euros for 2 cups!) We were just looking for a room within our price budget and the Eiffel River Gauche fit the bill. Small room, but it was all we needed. We showed up early and they were able to hold our luggage in the side room for us before our 2:00pm check-in time, which was great! Whenever we needed multiple wifi codes, bottle opener, drinks or a taxi called, each […] and every staff member was more than willing to help us out in a friendly manner. The beds seemed hard at first, but I swear I had some of my best sleeps there during our two week trip through europe. No fridge, however there are multiple convenience and grocery stores nearby, Metro line is a few blocks away and many things are within walking, including the eiffel tower. Not as much "night-life" as we'd hoped in the area, but we ended up hanging out in the St. Germaine area for late dinners and cabbing back for $5-8 euros each night.
