"Excellent hotel for frequent travellers"

I travel to Vienna for business very frequently and always stay at the Harmonie. I've stayed there for almost 2 weeks every month for the last 5 months and am able to be well rested while away from home. I have always experienced excellent customer service from all hotel staff and the rooms have been immaculate and very well sized. Check-in is always quick and hassle free with the staff able to answer any questions I have. The hotel breakfast has a great range of food (fruit, muesli, to cooked items) and tastes excellent. I've had to use the hotel lounge on a few occassions for work and found it ideal. It also has a small bar and free coffee and cake before 6pm (I've only managed to do that once!). All in all, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Vienna.

As a frequent traveler in the tourism industry, I have to say that hats off to this gem in Vienna! The close proximity of the hotel to downtown and all methods of transportation via D Tram or U4 (subway) was within a very close proximity to the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was impeccable and the suite we had was wonderful. spotless, comfortable beds, excellent choice in every which way! Highly recommend!
"A Very Decent Stay"
02/22/15 SummerTraveller4 Chatham, New Jersey
A last minute decision for a December vacation in Vienna left us with very limited choices for hotels so settled on this one as it was one of the decent ones left. To our surprise it turned out to be a very pleasant stay, the extra beds were in place when we checked in, the staff were very courteous and all our needs were taken care of. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous and the afternoon tea was very decent. Though the hotel is a little away from attractions, public transportation was very easy to use and the hotel staff were very helpful in guiding us. Clearly the hotel is not close to any attraction and it is a bit away from the ringstraus but other than that no complaints.
"TOP BOUTIQUE hotel in Vienna"

We have been in this hotel unfortunatley just for only one night - but it was a Valentine's day! This hotel fully met our expectations. It is located near to the city center, it is new, the rooms are enough spacious, interiors well designed, beds are very comfortable. Overall this is very stylish boutiqe hotel. Hotel is quiet so you are able to rest. You can feel comfort with every step you make, starting with checking in in the reception, going through the beige corridors, chic rooms and ending up in dining room. Breakfasts are delicious and there is a variety of food to chose, everyone will find something that will satisfy them, even those one who had to eliminate gluten from their diet. Service stuff provided by the hotel is also on the highest level - one of the receptionist was so kind that he removed his car - so I was able to park my own. It was unusuall. Everyone was kind and polite. Interior designers were definetely inspired by ballet, as you can see the art & ballet motive all around the hotel- for example LED dispalys around which are playing balet scenes etc- simply amazing. . I really liked this actually, it was very elegant. To sum up this hotel deserves to be in the top position of the ranking. We will be back there for sure!

We decided to spent our valentines weekend in Vienna. At first we`ve booked Holiday Inn as we are members of IHG. However it was friday 13th and unfortunately as we came to the hotel we were informed that there is no room for us. After conversation with manager he offered us a stay in Best Western Premier Harmonie Vienna. This hotel fully met our expectations. It is located near to the city center, it is new, the rooms are enough spacious, interiors well designed, beds are very comfortable. Hotel is quiet so you are able to rest. You can feel comfort with every step you make, starting with checking in in the reception, going through the beige corridors, chic rooms and ending up in dining room. "Cozy and chic as well as quiet with helpful stuff "

The hotel is located in the 9th district, but it won't take you long to get here from the city center. It's a real bijou. I stayed here cause a family member was at the hospital and I needed a hotel not far away from it and I was really impressed by this one. The service is amazing, the stuff is very friendly and helpful. Moreover, for a 4* hotel it had everything - a bath robe, slippers, extra (special) pillows etc. For the pillows you just have to call the reception and they'll bring it up to your room. My breakfast was included in the price and it was more than tasty - very fresh, good selection of different stuff (all natural etc), it might look small in the first place, but I'm sure you'll find everything you need or like. You'll also find a couple of restaurants around the corner if you want to eat out. On the whole - my stay was worth every penny!
"Good neighborhood hotel for a Vienna visit"

This Best Western Premier in the northwest part of downtown Vienna was perfect for a short stay in the City of Mozart and Freud. The staff was outstanding, the breakfast well above average and the room was comfortable and clean. Yet the best thing was the location. It was a nine-block walk to the tram or subway. From there we could do everything we want for relatively little travel cost. (Also, take the CAT from the airport to downtown. It is a great value.) Nearby is the house where Freud lived, the Votivkirche, university, Rathaus (a must at Christmas), national library, and the natural history museum and Kunsthistorisches Museum. We also went to the zoo (by the subway) and St. Stephen's area, where there is plenty to do, and Karlsplatz. In the hotel's neighborhood, restaurants are plentiful with variety. There was a Spar nearby for any grocery needs. The workout room is small, but I used it every morning for a half hour, mainly the stationary bike. We were in Vienna in the late fall. Expect lots of rain, so bring an umbrella with you because walking is a must. It is the only way to see the city.

"A boutique hotel which deserves this name, well renovated and comfortable"
01/08/15 Norman C Wuppertal, Germany
Such small hotels, well renovated and with personal attention from the staff are now often call “Boutique Hotels” The HARMONIE deserves this name. It is a convenient hotel, away from the Ring, but easily accessible by bus or tramcar and now very well modernised. We had stayed at the Harmonie Hotel on our last visit to Vienna in 2009 and knew that the hotel had been renovated since then, and very well too, so we booked for 6 nights over New Year to give us chance to enjoy the cultural life of Vienna after Christmas. We had chosen a “superior” room which overlooked the street, but with absolutely no through traffic at all and the double glazing we heard nothing at all. The room itself was roomy (somewhat larger than those overlooking the school at the rear of the building) with a sofa, coffee table and easy chair as well as the usual large double bed, spacious writing desk, modern LED wall mounted TV and a very large and modern bathroom – it takes a while to get used to the very flat wash basins, it is almost like washing in a puddle, but that is the trend now in modern bathrooms. Fortunately enough the shower unit in the bathroom had written instructions how to convert from the tub to the shower as the usual pull knob had been replaced by a push button, but it worked very well. Although it was announced that breakfast - organic breakfast as far as possible - would be served a little later over the New Year period we were pleasantly surprised that they still continued to refill dishes after the closing time and then asked the remaining few guests if they wanted anything else from the buffet before starting to clear away. In the summer breakfast can also be taken outside - but this was no alternative for New Year’s Day. A very pleasant touch is the “Help-yourself” afternoon tea or coffee in the small but comfortable lounge on the ground floor - even as late as 5.30pm - and one can study at leisure the various “coffee table” books on aspects of life in Vienna. From then on one could take a light dinner in the restaurant, so if one did not feel like going to one of the typical older Viennese restaurants around the hotel one could eat a simple but well prepared light dinner directly in the hotel. If coming in from the airport with luggage one could inquire in advance about the shuttle service – we used this to take us back to the airport and not only was it value for money but one saved the hassle of getting to the tram stop, changing trams and then the underground and finally from the airport train station to the check in, (not to mention the risks of losing your hand bag on the train or on the station as petty thieves are unfortunately very active on the trains to and from the airport). The hotel is however very convenient for regular public transport – even on Sundays a tram every 10 minutes – and with a Vienna travel card for 7 days we went wherever we wanted for just £ 15 for the week. Would we go back again? Definitely! Would we recommend the hotel? Also definitely – the staff were very friendly, remembered you and made you fell at home. We had a very pleasant stay there.
"The hotel you need to book for your holidays in Vienna!"
01/03/15 Giannis T Guildford, England, United Kingdom
I chose Best western hotels, because it's always what you see and what you get. When they say it's a 4 star hotel, it's a 4 star hotel. Especially now for the Best western harmonie we were very pleased. The hotel it's 2 km from the center, so you can walk if you want, but in 5 min you will find the subway, so you better take the subway to go somewhere. The breakfast was very good for a 4 star hotel, the staff was very kind and always happy to help us. The room was very clean, and nothing was missing from it. I would suggest to everyone who don't want to spend a fortune in a 5star hotel, and if i was going again to vienna, i would be very happy to stay again in the same hotel. You won't regret it.
