In conclusione, ci siamo trovati molto bene e consigliamo sicuramente di visitare Samos e soggiornare all'Arion.

Spent our second summer holiday at the Arion Hotel and loved every minute of it and can't wait to return. Quiet setting on a hill-side overlooking the Aegean sea, with views over Kokkari town towards the Turkish coast. The hotel staff are all very friendly and welcoming and standards of service are very high. Comfortable room, cleaned daily with fresh bedding. Whole hotel is spotlessly clean. Excellent food, wonderful breakfasts especially from the grill, and great variety at dinner, again with the grill available. Lovely view from dining room balcony. Hotel pool fine but much preferred catching Kosta's courtesy minibus to 2 local beaches not far away, both with good choice of bar/tavernas. Able to walk down into Kokkari town in the evenings , with sheltered harbour lined with friendly bars and restaurants if preferred. Greek evening at hotel very well organised, chance to dress up and try some Greek dancing. The island is very interesting, quite green, with a variety of spots to visit, not over-developed. We have visited Greece for 20 years and tried many islands/mainland resorts and hotels but the Arion is now our favourite!
Beautiful views of the Aegean, Kokkari, Samos Town and Turkey from our private balcony up above the town of Kokkari. Very clean. Beautiful sunrise for great photos. Friendly staff. Great food in restaurant, especially breakfast buffet. Stayed 3 nights. Quiet setting. Hotel rooms were in separate building with 6 rooms in each building. Plants, including olive trees, and flowers beautiful all around.
Excellent hotel, very clean all over the place. Nice room (408), comfortable bed.
Very friendly staff, without any exception.
Versatile buffet for breakfast and diner. Only the orange and grapefruit juices (sirop) tasted terrible.
6 nights out of 7 one of the most quiet hotels I've ever stayed in. The seventh night there was a wedding party with music until 3.00am, hopefully there isn't a greek wedding every week. But without any doubt: this hotel is definitely recommendable
Stayed for 2 weeks at beginning of July. Our room was a gorgeous appartment on edge of complex with a view to sea and mountains on the other. Friendly staff, delicious food and could not have wished for better venue. Only problem was there wasn't many children around for my 7 year old daughter to play with and no kids activities but she loved the pool. Would highly recommend.
Me and my fiancé stayed in the hotel for 4 nights from 22nd of May in a basic room 403 on the first floor. Here are the pros and cons we found during our stay.
+The bed was comfortable, good springing.
+Breakfast buffet was versatile with all kinds of breads, yoghurt, cereals, cheese, ham, eggs, bacon, sweets, juice, coffee and tea, etc.
+The room was clean and cleaned every day.
-The room smelled really bad of air freshener when we arrived.
-The front desk was not really helpful or friendly and when we contacted the hotel 4 days prior to our stay by email, they did not respond.
-Location. Away from the beach, centre, shops and restaurants. You either have to walk several kilometers to reach the nearest beach and restaurants, use the hotels free bus transportation (with awkward timetable) or rent a car. I'm glad we had rented a car.
-There was an army of ants in the bathroom.
-The room and bathroom were dated with bed cover and curtains from the 80's and stained tiles and brown bathtub plughole in the bathroom.
-The free wi-fi didn't work in the hotel room and worked only sometimes in public areas. Even the two personal computers in the lobby only had internet connection now and then.
We had room 710 in the Blue bungalow beautiful view of sea, mountains and town.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Weather perfect 30' with a breeze, would go again.
We seemed to be the only English couple mostly middle aged German and Dutch although slightly younger towards the end of the week.
Only criticism would be balcony had no privacy from next door.
Stayed here for a week on a tour also taking in Rhodes. A good web site, but didn't realise it was half way up a hill. A nice reception from a receptionist who (looked like Sophia Loren). I had a nice room at the end of the main building with nice views, plus a balcony. The room was spacious nice firm bed, everything all very clean. Good mirrors, but lighting was just one table lamp and bedside lights. I also had a fridge and safe (extra) which was very small. Plenty hangers but not much storage space. The air con wasn't on as they said it wasn't hot enough, but you can leave the patio doors open for air, l was a bit concerned as l thought mossies my get in, but the slats are very thin, so l was OK, its the only way to get cool air. This was May, so it may be on now.
The lighting in the bathroom was good you can ask for a slip mat for the bath. No plugs in the bath or basin, they don't use them, so bring one with you or use a universal one. The BF was good, but not much choice of cooked, mainly eggs and bacon, also not much fresh fruit. Dinner there was extra cooking outside, it varied each night, plus hot plates. Packed lunches were very large if needed and on AI. The only bar open was outside by the pool or you had drinks at dinner. But to get to the bar, you had to walk outside, not good if raining. The inside bar by the restaurant is not in use!. The hotel has bungalows in the grounds and also take dogs. l was not happy to see one brought into the restaurant at meal times, l'm sure it could have stayed in the room. The hotel has lovely gardens. It also has a courtesy bus, running 5 times a day to the beach nearby and to the town of Kokkari, you could walk which would take about 20 min's.
From there you can get a bus to other parts of the island, but you need to change in Samos town first, fares are cheap. No maps available from the hotel, but you can buy some. The tourist office's didn't appear open anywhere, as these are only staffed by volunteer's. A taxi up to the hotel from town is €4. If you are a walker, there are plenty of walks around the area. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially reception.
Not many children stay as not much for them. The pool was nice and you can have free towels,(10 deposit and get back later) plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. If not on AI or B&B you will need to go into town for eating, nothing near by. Enjoyed my stay, but nothing to do in the evenings. Not many English books.
we stayed there just a few days ago. ..
The hotel is in a very good condition. everything is really clean and well taken care of.
Especially the Team in the Restaurant were always really very friendly and professional.
We had a good time there :)
We've been ( 3 adults ) in August for 2 weeks in this beautiful Hotel. I cannot describe in words how amazing it was to make our holiday in Kokkari ( kokkariki ). From our first step in the resort we were welcome and felt the Greek hospitality starting from Reception and finished to the Pool Bar until we got our room. We got the best room 811 with see view over the Kokkari Beach ( amazing ), room was very cleaned everyday and very artistic bed cover made :). Food was very Greek ( tasted so good ) which made us more happy. Waiters were so friendly and helpful every time you need something. I will name them because they made our holiday enjoyable every time : Kostas, Emiliano, Yannis, Heraklis ( thank you for the Rose for my Fiancée ) and others. Thank you to the receptionist ( Ramona )who helped me to arrange everything and make the perfect evening for my girl. Lets don't forget Kostas the Bus Driver he is one of the entertainers of the hotel. He will bring you to the best Beaches in Kokkari but the best is Tsamadou Beach with the best Beach service from Christos ! And Kostas in from Romania and from South Afrika :)) ( that's my joke to everyone since I was doing entertainment ).
For Deutsch people, yes the Wetter Cam it shows the Weather on RTL and NTV ! We are waiting to watch the Weather news only to see Kokkari and remember the good time!
Here are some thugs which can improve !
Water at least 2 bottles in the fridge per room because ( we are in Greece and it's HOT )
The price for the Bottle of Water 2 euros its to Much !!
The cleaning lady was nice and friendly and very Creative but when we didn't let any tips she forgot to clean and paid attention to only for Tips.
It's a beautiful place and very friendly especially the people from the old town near the Harbour. We had the most beautiful experience in Cavos Bar where I have asked my girl to Marry Me ! Thank you !
Watch out for the bars in the left side because it's no Way when you buy a Glass of wine you get charge for water 4 euros which we didn't asked for. When u want to rent a bike or a quad Do Not Go to Inter Hermes !! They have broken quads which stops in the middle of the road with more than half Tank. They give u quad with petrol until gas station ( but ours stop with 50m before station ) and when u give it back with petrol he is happy and so much sorry that the quad had problems ( he doesn't have a clue about anything ).
Arion Hotel Samos We Miss You !!
Thank you for your Hospitality !
after the 10th visit i am still awe stuck bye the views from this hotel.
A Beautiful location, lovely gardens perched on the top with the gardens meandering down the hillside. well cared for with many specimen plants shrubs and trees.
The staff and owners of the hotel are delightful, friendly and so happy to help to ensure that you enjoy your stay and return again and again. A high % of guest do exactly that.
Breakfast and dinner are full culinary delights both international and traditional greek.
I love the Greek night buffet and BBQ and of coarse dancing around the pool terrace. Here you will also find the lovely friendly bar that opens from morning coffee, snacks and until late in the evening where you can sit around the pool, enjoy the night view of the village and the million stars in the dark sky.
the hotel is a short walk from several beautiful pebble beaches with crystals clear waters.
Kokkari long beach in the village with shops, bars and restaurants near by. Lemonakia beach with a taverna and Tsamadou beach with a wonderful beach service delivering drinks and lunch to you sun bed if you wish or beautiful taverna.
