Initially we were given a room with two queen size beds instead of a single king size bed, but this was fixed immediately and we were upgraded to a harbor view room on the top level. Amazing view, comfortable amenities. Room service was expensive but we enjoyed splurging on ourselves for once.

Service, look and feel, just superb. The only two downsides were the construction going on that made the place a little dusty outside; and the complicated road structure nearby, that made finding the parking garage very difficult (too many 1 way streets and almost no signage).

The only negative thing i have to say about the hotel is the view that we had from the window. We were on the sixth floor and had a view of the roof with the heating system. The check out time listed on my receipt from hotels.com was 12pm but the paperwork the hotel gave us said 11am.

I know the price was bumped way up because either the hotel was expecting late Valentine's celebrants or because of the Presidents' Day holiday weekend (my opinion). So, I did not enjoy the price I paid. I was celebrating neither. Expected more of a water view than I got. Enjoyed getting a free pass to the brand-new MAC health club. Mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday and hotel sent up champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. That's was very nice. I would definitely return for a lower price.

As a Baltimore native who has been gone 14 years, I was astounded and delighted at the change in that area and once construction is completed, access to the hotel should get easier. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming. But when I was told that my garunteed room w/ king bed was not available(reservation made week prior), things began to sour. Two double beds for an anniversary get-away didn't make it! Dinner was great at a near by restruant, but the rattling of the fan in the HVAC unit next to my bed kept me awake most of the night. The high costs of valet overnight parking did not sit well.

The service was outstanding. The view of the harbor gorgeous. Very comfy bed. The only problem we had was we could not adjust the temperature of our room. We would have liked it cooler for sleeping. They were willing to compensate us but that was not necessary. You can walk to many sites but ask guidance on where not to walk. There are some rough looking neighborhoods surrounding the Italian District and Fell's Point. Kosmos is a great Martini bar but a bit pricey.

The hotel (lobby, lounge) is gorgeous. The room is gorgeous, too, but you need to take three elevators from the parking garage ($21 night) to get to it---worth it, though: the bed was so comfortable and the view of the Inner Harbor was wonderful; the remote for the tv didn't work but the staff replaced it promptly. Great location, too, short walk to a movie theatre and restaurants. Got stuck in the parking garage on the way out, as did my co-worker...the machine wasn't reading our tickets properly and made us late for a seminar but would love to return to this hotel for leisure purposes someday!

We booked a waterfront view and were very pleasantly surprised how good the room was. The location was great - walked to everywhere we needed (e.g. - harbor place, 1st mariner Arena), and really enjoyed just sitting and looking out of our room's huge window. The only thing was the silverware at breakfast was strangly huge. Felt like little kids with adult utensils :-)
