Arrived at New Orleans Airport around midnight on a Friday night. Booked the Four Points in advance for a reasonable price. I called the hotel when we arrived and the manager on duty dispatched the shuttle bus to pick us up at the airport (make sure you do this, they don't automatically show up in periodic intervals like at other airports, so I was […] told). The shuttle was there in 15 minutes like he said, and its FREE (we tipped a few dollars). Ride to hotel was 10-15 minutes. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Wifi worked fine. Shower had weak water pressure but adequate. The surrounding area didn't seem terribly unsafe but I don't think I'd go walking around too much at night. The breakfast was very good actually, buffet style with all you can eat scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, french toast, cereal, fruit, etc., BUT it is not complimentary. There was nothing I could say about this hotel that would make it really stand out above others in terms of great value for the price, but it was certainly decent enough for a one night stay after a flight with a long weekend ahead. It was clean and comfy, with good breakfast, good TV and wifi, convenient location, but I've stayed in other hotels for lower rates which had more included features (indoor pool, hot tub, free breakfast, etc). Would stay there again if in the same situation, and would recommend to others looking for a short stay at a reasonable price near the airport. Read more

Wife and I were in town for the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Our room was very clean and comfortable. All of the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, We will definitely stay here again the next time we drive down to New Orleans.

This hotel offers a good location, but it's right next to I-10, which makes it hard to not hear freeway traffic in your room while trying to sleep. They put up some new sliding doors to buffer the noise, but you can still hear it. I woke up every hour during the night, granted I was in the room closest to the I-10 side of the hotel. I asked to change […] rooms the next night, but the sound was just as bad. In addition, the tv didn't work, which I found out at 4 am when I couldn't sleep. The last thing I wanted was a hotel receptionist troubleshooting my tv at that time of the morning. The Holiday Inn down the road on the Causeway is a better alternative at the same price. Overall it was an acceptable stay (just 2 nights). The location is convenient to the airport, and there are plenty of places to eat on Veterans Blvd. It is definitely not near downtown, but we found it easy to make the (~10min) drive to the Carrolton/Canal streetcars and ride those to Bourbon Street & French Quarter. The staff was helpful with dinner […] suggestions, directions and prompt at checkin/checkout. The room wasn't immaculate, as the hotel is aging, and the water pressure on the 6th floor was less than you'd want (other reviews here say the same). That wasn't enough for us to ask for another room, but I'd ask for a lower floor if I stayed again. It was reasonably quiet, the bed was perfectly comfortable, and housekeeping was respectful of the "Later Please" door sign. For the price, we were pleased. Read more

The only problem I had with this hotel wa parking. Everything else was great! I also loved the fact that it was only about sixteen minutes from the French Quarters and thats only with bad traffic! Great hotel for a great price. I'd stay there again!

The lobby was nice, renovations were completed. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable but the view was lacking from the balcony. The bar & restaurant was great. It is right off the interstate but we couldn't hear the traffic, however, getting around the area is difficult if you're unfamiliar. There were a few shopping areas within driving distance. Hotel staff were efficient and caring. Restaurant manager not welltrained and got in loud argument with waiter in the middle of guest dining room. Hotel parking is awful due to constuction and should have keyed entrance at back for older patrons who can't walk the distance to the front.
