"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

"Another Good Experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
My wife and I have stayed at the Courtyard in Mahwah three of the last four years to attend the NEAF astronomy show at the Rockland Community College in Suffern, just a few minutes away. We've always had good a experience and this stay was no different. The recent renovations definitely spruced the hotel up. The pool and spa area was nice, although the acoustics in the room left my ears ringing after a group of children in the pool were not using their "indoor voices." Our room was very clean, everything worked well, including the internet connection (which is a wired connection) and having a Dunkin Donuts right next door makes a stay here worthwhile in my humble opinion! Just grab a coffee and a bagel sandwich and go. The rates are competitive with other hotels in the area. If someone on here rates the hotel low, they must be comparing it to a five-star city hotel or maybe a destination resort. It's not that, but it is a clean and decent place to stay while traveling for business or short-term pleasure. I believe we will stay there again next year.

"Comfort Inn-Hawthorne, NY"
We were in town for some continuing education and this hotel met all our requests! The pool was warm and a lot of fun, the breakfast was tasty, and the rooms were nice and large for our family (two adults, 2 young children, and a baby.) The location was right off the Saw Mill Parkway and with the Applebees and Wendy's right nearby it was perfect. We […] will coming back to the area soon and will definitely stay here again. Read more

"Nice night in Hawthorne"
This hotel was a good location for attending Clearwater Hudson River Revival in Croton. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was hot and a good start to the day. The alarm clock in the room was a pain to set. The rates were high and probably raised since there are not that many hotels in the area om a busy weekend. The diner a short walk away […] was fine for dinner. Would recommend this place. Read more
VERY NICE! More than I expected for the money. Room and included breakfast were above average.
"Nice location, dim shower"
Stayed over a night in February over this hotel. The hotel was nice for a one night stay and is conveniently located next to several restaurant. However, cigarette smell kept coming out of the ventilation vent in my bathroom on a non-smoking level. The other thing I noticed was that the shower was designed so that it blocked all the light. It was extremely […] hard to see when you take a shower. There was wireless internet but the cable internet would not work in my room. Other than that it was a decent stay. Read more
"Mediocre Service, Smoky Hallways"
This hotel was OK. We arrived rather late at night, and were greeted by a not-so-friendly person at the front desk who refused to give us change so we could get food from the vending machine since there are no late-night restaurants in the area (he said he didn't have any change, though we later saw him counting all of his change). The hallways were […] very smoky and stinky, even in the non-smoking hallways. The room was decent, clean, and reasonably comfortable, and the pricing was average. Read more
