I want privacy in the shower and you have doors with openings. There is a small toilet with no fan. The room was great and the refrigerator and microwave were invaluable.

This place is in a horrible, dirty, disgusting area. The inside of the building smells of heavy smoke, the shower doors were broken, the bed is a palat. They give you only a big bath towel, no other towels given. There is no way that this hotel can even think of being a 4 Star hotel.

The hotel is clean comfortable, the room quite spacious, the staff English-speaking and friendly. A Metro stop is 1-block away, and the hotel has a peaceful, quiet garden in the rear. When it's over around 6 pm, the lot is cleaned within hours, but some vendors merely move their wares to the black between the hotel and the Metro. So you must walk through the crowds -- and litter and trash they've left behind -- getting from the Metro back to the hotel. I didn't feel unsafe, but wouldn't stay here again -- too much trash. This hotel should be the first hotel recomended to theaverage family gooing to Paris, Just far enoulgh from the center of Paris to be afordable, yet in an area that has stores to satisfy your immediate needs. The hotel was not that bad as I chose it for the price. It was very nice and comfortable and the AC worked great. The only downfall was the television. Supposedly every room comes with digital television with movies on demand, it only worked once while we were there and only half way through one movie. We had no issues getting on the subway. RIght on the corner was a grocery store which helped out alot considering we had children, snacks and milk were a must, plus it was nice to snack up before heading out as everything can get pretty pricey. Some reviews stated the neighborhood was pretty rough, and it actually wasnt. There was alot of foreigners there but it was just like any other city. All in all, if I had to do it again I would have stayed closer to the city center. Oh and one more thing, the walls were pretty thin as the people who stayed next door to us decided to party till 0600 and I had the pleasure of hearing every minute of it. Read more

This place is a mess with mostly unhelpful staff. However if you just want a clean place to sleep and know your way around the Montreuil area it might work for you Wake up call requests were ignored. Gave us the lousiest room in the hotel Front desk wasn't helpful, maybe they want all guests to speak French?

We stayed here with two young children whilst on a 5day trip to Paris. Negatives first: the location and area isn't that close to any main attractions in central Paris, and its a bit of a shabby area. That said, we never felt unsafe and the hotel were very reassuring. Breakfasts are expensive for adults (kids were free) but there is enough room in the […] fridge in the suite to have meals in your room (and a decent Carrefour just a couple of minutes walk away). The gym is a non-event. Very small and just a couple of bits of equipment! Positives: the metro station is just a 7min walk away, and it takes you direct to many of the central attractions, Trocodero was just a 25 min journey door to door! The rooms are plenty big enough for a family, though it does require a bit of packing away each morning. The staff were friendly, helpful and keen to resolve questions. The room was clean (and cleaned everyday) and well appointed. Having a fridge and microwave was v useful (and unusual for Paris hotels) and the film/tv channels were brilliant for our two children. The rooms are spaces and nice. The problem is the neighbourhood, there is a busy multicultural market that you have to cross to get to the metro station. Everything is operated by card, even the lift - it is understandable because of the security problems. The other disgrace is the food court; it is really tiny, the food is stuffed into small shelves […] which are running out very quickly. It is the survival for the fittest and quickest. The location of the hotel is far off from the main attractions in Paris, but is relatively nearer to the airport. took me 20mins to drive to the CDG airport. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a free high speed wired internet. Beds are comfortable and toilets give a somewhat luxurious feel. looking at the hotel layout you would think it's splindid, but it wasn't. The room was great for a family of three with a huge room and a room divider to turn it into 2 sleeping areas with a bit of privacy. Close to the Port du montriul metro station which makes it cheap and easy to get anywhere in Paris. This hotel is mediocre. The only upside is that the rooms are big, but I felt like I was in a cruise ship. The toilet is in one room separate from the bath & shower. I felt that the washroom was not that clean since I see hair in the showers. My friend's room also had a smell to it, and they cannot change the rooms for him since they were booked up. […] My husband called the front desk to ask for toothpaste and they said they were all out. He also went to the front desk one day and asked to go to the gym, and they said that the gym is out of service. How can the gym be out of service?? Hotel heeft parkeergarage voor 14 eur per nacht. Is wel aan te bevelen omdat je in deze buurt niet graag je auto buiten laat staan. Er is in de weekenden een markt voor de deur met vrij veel rommel in het allerlaagste segment. Ook veel verkopers op straat. Kamer is verder prima. Afstand naar metro 9 naar centrum is goed te doen. Alleen ga je niet na […] een vermoeide dag wandelen door Parijs even terug naar het hotel en daarna nogmaals naar de binnenstand om te eten. Daar is de afstand/reistijd eigenlijk te groot voor.
