Let me tell you, I was totally surprised by this Western Inn Hotel. The hotel is really clean and so was my room. The bed was the best part, it was like something out of a JC Penny catalog. Not only that, the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and I have been to many hotels in my lifetime. The complimentary breakfast is amazing and its served from 6 am to 10 am so you do not have to get up really early!!! Everything is so good and neatly presented. The cleaning staff and the hotel receptionists really do a good job of cleaning and attending to your needs. It is also very close to the sub way system and the hotel can call a taxi to come get you. Also, depending on where you are going the hotels complimentary bus can take you to your destination for free!

What I liked about the hotel was the cleanliness, the roominess, how new and well kept the place was. It isn't a huge hotel so you will not get lost. You have your place to rest comfortably and you necessities covered. I have been to other hotels in Boston and found others to have very small rooms and tend to be overpriced but I really enjoyed this place. Also the little bit of history and being unique was nice as well. Also, free parking. In Boston. That was nice. However, the area is a small enclave of safeness in a not so nice section.

The hotel was great, the room was clean and comfortable, the suite set up made it perfect for traveling with a child that goes to bed early. The workout facility was great as well. Only complaint would be the area, not the greatest and parking was a bit dicey but, all and all, great stay.

We checked into this hotel for one night last week. We were pleasantly surprised when we were allowed to check-in early then were told there was a shuttle that could take us to and from the downtown area!! The hotel provided us with a map of the city and convenient area information. The staff was fantastic. Even more great was the room itself. The room had a living area and french doors that lead to your bedroom. There were televisions in both rooms, a fridge, microwave and coffee. Plus, they serve cookies for a couple of hours at the lobby from 5-7. I was so pleased of the level of hospitality. We would definetely stay again. All that for the price we paid is incredible.

I am not very 'urban' and was really uncomfortable with the neighborhood. We used our car and it may be a few blocks from a nicer neighborhood but the surrounding area was just awful. The parking lot is patrolled but the watchmen said he leaves at 5 and 'they' know it so don't leave anything in there or it will get (I guess) broken into sometime in the morning... It's actually not a good value either, for about twenty more bucks, you can get a much, much better hotel in a better location. I would not go back.

We enjoyed our stay. The shuttle that takes you to different locations throughout Boston was very prompt and very conveinient. While there is a time pick up and drop off scheduled the driver told us just to call and he would come anytime as long as he wasn't on a run and if he was he would come as soon as he was done. We only waited minutes for pick up and drop off to the Prudential/Copley stop. The heat was a little warm even with the window cracked open but we didn't complain ---if we had I am sure they would have corrected it. The from desk staff was very friendly and helpful We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will do it again!

My wife and I go to the Roundhouse probably 3-4 times a year for weekend getaways. The hotel and the service is incredible. The location of the hotel is sometimes a little "iffy" at night but we have never had anything happen. We feel very safe within the hotel itself. For the price you pay to stay here, it is an unbelievable deal.

I was a little cautious at first in booking this hotel because of the other reviews regarding the poor location. However, I went with and we were pleased. The hotel was right off of the highway, which was perfect for us since we are generally unfamiliar with Boston. The room was very nice and very clean and the staff were also very nice. The only negative that we encountered had to do with the area. We were in two cars, and someone stole the windshield wipers off of one of them. Pretty pathetic but they are only wipers! Overall, we would stay there again.

The hotel was nice, good rooms, nice staff etc. The neighborhood is the problem. It's basically right near a highway off-ramp, and the surrounding neighborhood sucks. Really no other way to say it. We walked around looking for bars or restaurants...and there was almost nothing at all...and it didn't feel super safe either. The more walking friendly neighborhoods are pretty close though, so as long as you dont mind hopping in a cab for 5 minutes, and now actually hanging out in the area of this hotel, then there's really no problem with it, and the price is pretty good. Also, the hotel itself has a free shuttle from about 7:15 to 9ish at night.

I come from Bermuda and know a little something about hotels, the Best Western Roundhouse was value for money, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and comfortable suite - the bed was 'heavenly' and the front desk service great - The location was very convenient for travel as it is situated within minutes of major highways, the shuttle bus can whip you into the City in 5 minutes and there is a shopping center within walking distance. Stop by the "Olive Garden" there - first class service, food and decor - there is also an Appleby's nearby! All in all a great hotel - I would definitely recommend it to individuals, couples or groups!!!

We booked this hotel for a conference held at Copley Square mostly because of the price. I was somewhat hesitant because of the distance of the hotel to the conference and because of some of the other comments. I have to say I was quite pleasantly surprised with our stay. The neighborhood is not Boston's best, but it was not nearly as bad as I had been lead to believe. The room was awesome, complete with a sitting room and a wet bar. We had friends staying at various Copley area hotels for well over twice the price, and their rooms did not compare to ours. Throw in the free shuttle to get us around downtown, the cheap airport shuttle (a friend at another hotel paid $30 each way), and the FREE parking this hotel is definitely worth checking out.

At first sight, this hotel didn't look all that great. It didn't help that we got lost getting there and Jesus at the front desk gave us bad directions. Once we got to our floor, it smelled really bad of cigarettes but the inside of our room was fine. The free wireless internet was convenient and the breakfast was good. The hotel shuttle was really nice since there is no T station within reasonable walking distance. The shuttle will drop you off and pick you up relatively close to wherever you need within 2 miles of the hotel. Just remember to call the shuttle in advance to see how long your wait is. Overall, we thought the hotel worked out great for us and our two year old.

Great deal for "in Boston" location. Free parking is a major factor. Second time to stay there - both times rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Location is just on the "edge," I wouldn't walk around hotel much, but there isn't any place to walk to either. Bums ask for money between the hotel and parking lot, but that happens all over town - they have never been rude or a problem. Will definitely stay again, sure beats staying way out in a suburban hotel and having the drive into Boston.

I liked this hotel very much. The room was a pleasant surprise for its cost. A single room was divided into two small rooms, probably because of the hotel's round architecture, a king size bed, small couch, desk, small snack bar, and two televisions. All features very clean, hotel seems to be new. Two issues; not in a nice area and no secure parking.
