An Eco friendly hotel beautifully renovated to the highest standards. Only two cautions, when the brochure says a small room it really means it. My wife and I were on a mixed business and family trip with some luggage to handle - the closet was tiny! But I don't mean to detract from the overall quality - really good. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Our room needed a comfortable chair to sit on. There was only one at the desk. A little overkill on the environmental stuff. Too much fragrance in the cleaning materials. Might be better to give a few instructions on how to use tea kettle. And there was no computer for traveling guests.

No major complaints except the room/bathroom was a bit dark, and it could get a bit hot as no air-conditioning. Apart from that it was absolutely gorgeous, clean, lovely breakfast and the staff were very helpful. Highly recommended.

First impressions were excellent - it is clear a great deal of money has been spent on this place. I travelled to Bournemouth on business. The Green House has amazing decor and clean, comfortable, bright rooms. Staff are extremely helpful and very nice. However, the wifi was really bad so I almost couldn't work. Also I didn't think much of the food in the restaurant.

Perfect location for a trip to the seaside. 10-15min walk to beach and town. Excellent service, the staff were extremely helpful and accomodating to our needs. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely recommend this hotel and re visit when i am next in Bournemouth

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Green House and we would definitely return. This Eco Hotel met the majority of our requirements with rooms refurbished to a very high standard. If I could make just one negative remark it would be with regard to the lighting in the room but more specifically in the bathroom, it was difficult to see especially hen […] trying to do hair and make up, however I did mention this to a member of staff who said that the hotel is looking into overcoming this so it has obviously been a problem for others. A great hotel, beautifully furnished to a high standard. Rooms are exceptionally clean. Beds very comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order and to a high standard. Booked for my wife's birthday and was not disappointed. As a weekly hotel dweller I was delighted with the setting, accomodation, food and service. Cannot recommend this hotel enough! Very high quality standards! The room was beautiful, not large but fine for one and had all that I needed. Luxurious lines and toiletries. Very helpful staff. Food in the restaurant was superb. I was visiting the area under difficult circumstances - my father had suffered a heart attack and was admitted to Bournemouth hospital. From the moment we walked in to the reception area,the greeting was warm and the staff made us feel most welcome.The hotel is superbly appointed, using quality eco-friendly materials.The room was spacious,warm and inviting.There was ambient, reactive lighting in keeping with the hotel's green credentials, a sizeable flat screen TV, a large, comfortable bed and soft furnishings and a really well appointed, good size shower room.The toiletries provided were excellent, and there was also a 'green' hairdryer and kettle in the room. The best part of our stay was the food - the restaurant deserves to be full every mealtime! We each had the 5 course taster menu,which was on special offer to residents.The portions,although small,were of the highest quality and showcased the great culinary skills and creativity of the chef..The wine list was large and comprehensive. Hard to put into words how well this hotel has achieved luxury - bedding, decor, contemporary furnishings, electrical goods - with such commitment to the environment. Good food, comfortable bed, wonderful pillows, great shampoo and body wash, fast WiFi access, quality television, friendly staff. Only one niggle - the insomniac in the room above made the floor creak as he wandered about at 2am, so stay on the top floor!
