no wireless, you have to pay for it even that it is advertised as free, everything else was fair. nice location, close to the metro station. taking into consideration the price I paid, I was satisfied.

The hotel does not seem to be well maintained: wall paint is pealing off, the carpets and furniture look really old and worn. Quite different from the pictures you see online! Floris Hotel Louise is conveniently located close to the Louise Stop on the Brussels subway. A short walk down Avenue Louise towards the stop and you will pass very high-end stores the likes of Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Gucci, etc. The hotel exterior is nothing to boast of, however the rooms are clean. This hotel has NO airconditioning, which is I guess […] par for the course for most hotels in Europe, but on warm days it can get very uncomfortable. The room had a tower fan though so that was a blessing. The staff except for one was generally attentive, and my stay came with free continental as well as a hot breakfast. My only unpleasant experience with the hotel is that the bath tub can get very slippery, and I did slip and banged my inner left leg. They should really put a non-skid mat at the floor of the tub. Would I recommend this hotel? Well if you have the money to spend for better accomodations I would recommend that you do find those better accomodations. But the Floris Hotel Louise was reasonably priced, and for my brief stay in Brussels it did serve its purpose. Read more

It really has seen better days - peeling wallpaper, battered, old furniture, black stains on my bedroom wall, mould in the bathroom. It's pouring down with rain when you get back from exploring the sites. To warm up, you think to yourself, I'll boil the kettle, have a cup of tea and get ready to go out for dinner. Requested a quiet room away from the road when the booking was made. Given a ground floor room next to the road with no option to change. Woken up at 6-30am by someone dragging the bins past my room. Poor breakfast with limit choice and the bread was not fresh. Can't understand how this hotel can be 4 star rated. Will not be staying there again!

Floris Louise is situated near the Avenue Louise - this is some distance from the Grand Place so you should be aware of that. The hotel is showing its age - facilities like showers etc are sometimes in poor repair. Reasonable breakfast included and beds comfortable/clean.

The fire escape door was kept locked at night and the key which was suppposed to be un the "red key holder" was missing. I pointed at this to the staff, but they did not replace the key the following night.

Arrived in a cold day (-1C), and the room's radiator could not warm up the room enough -- had a cold night. The second room offered to have good heating was a rooftop room: very difficult access via two runs of steep & narrow stairs, which had to be undone to reach the nearest fire exit (!) --- barelly legal I'd say. Finally, breakfast eggs were cold […] once. The bathroom had no heating (!) while having a big window. The minibar fridge (in the 3 rooms I tried) was empty and shut down. The exterior and interior are shabby. The staff are not particularly friendly or helpful. The furniture was old and worn. The beside lamp had no shade. The TV had no remote control and did not work. The digital decoder for the TV actually had a US power plug, so had clearly never worked in Brussels! The bathroom floor had cracked tiles, ceiling tiles […] were stained and dirty. 1. Privacy is not respected. In spite of following the „Do Not Disturb“ Sign at the door the Room was made up from the chamber maid to "clean the room", including touching (folding) underwear (!) and bed sheets (we brought there and prepared our beds with for obvious hygienic reasons) 2. Unseen the usual drinks, the „big“ breakfast consists of croissants […] and chocolate-croissants, 2 kinds of bread for toasting. In addition you got chocolate-cream, 2-3 jams, salami, 2 kinds of ham -like stuff, and only1 sort of cheese – that's it. Coming to cereals they only had Yogurt, Milk and corn Flakes. The „fresh/hot“ scrambled eggs and bacon had a temperature of about 35 degree celsius (the box for those, meant to be heated by hot water, were obviously not adequately supplied with hot water) 3. Room and Bath were not clean: - head piece of the beds were so dirty, that even after 4-5 wipes with disinfectant there were clearly visible arrears of dirt on the tissues - also was the radiator (designed to carry the towels for drying) - bedspread had several spots in half the size of a palm of the hand 4. In Spite of being labelled as a non-smokers room, curtains were dirty/dusty, giving the impression of not being washed for about two years. Stayed here 3 times now and perfect for a few days. Good location away fronm City centre but with Metro and trams a few minutes walk everything accessible. Rooms adequate maybe a bit tired . large bathrooms with everything you need and pretty good breakfast. The staff are friendly and efficient. What more do you need for a couple of days!

Hotelet ligger i perfekt afstand til shopping og cafeer. Tæt på bus, sporvogn og metro, så du let kan komme til alle turistmålene. Hotellet ligger i afstand fra hovedtrafik vej og er således roligt om aftenen og natten. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale overalt på hotellet. Hotellet er som helhed noget slidt, men alt er rent pænt.

Nära shopping i bra kvarter, nära spårvagnar och tunnelbana. Lätt att ta sig vart som helst. Bättre att bo här än i centrum! Hotellet är helt OK, men känns inte som 4-stjärnigt precis. Bra frukost, ganska stort och fint rum.

Conosco Bruxelles per averci abitato tanti anni, e ho scelto questo hotel proprio per potermi muovere a mio agio. Durante il mio soggiorno si sono verificati alcuni inconvenienti, per esempio la non erogazione di acqua calda e un giorno senza riscaldamento, proprio nei giorni che è nevicato. Ma il resto era perfetto.
