TV was not working and someone came to fix it as soon as we mentioned it. Perfect location if you come to see the Mission and the surrounding.Very satisfied with the over all service.

The receptionist didn't recognize us by our name when we checked in. She looked up the confirmation number, but had to ask my first name. Then, although the reservation was for two beds as there were three adults, she assigned us to a one bed room. She corrected the matter quickly and pleasantly. We stayed here for a soccer tournament. It was fine but the beds are really uncomfortable. It's like lying on plywood. Also, while we were sleeping we heard traffic noise. Not sure if it was the street or hotel parking lot. The friendly staff & yummy breakfast was their saving grace.

lWe have stayed at this motel many times as our daughter lives close. It is an older motel which they have done some remodeling on. Our bathroom was remodeled and very nice. the area is under construction, but the hotel is very convenient to everything I needed and several fair restaurants. We have stayed here twice and would totally recommend this motel to our friends. The rooms have a microwave and refrigerator which is a plus when traveling. They have breakfast which helps save money. They are located within walking distance to stores,restaurants,and the historic section of town. The rooms are worn and the cleanliness is lacking. The "breakfast" is a lot of cheap carbs -the "eggs" that are advertised ont he website are just are cold and hard-boiled. We walked over to the nearby Denny's and had a real warm breakfast. We tried to adjust our prepaid reservation and the staff wouldn't hear of it. My family of 4 stayed two nights - Fri and Sat. Overall, we were happy with our stay as location played key role in our selection. Wife and kids liked continental breakfast. Only complaint was room wasn't as clean as we expected upon arrival. For the price and location, we'd stay there again.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was nice, but there were blood marks on the sheets of the bed. Apparently someone got a paper cut or pulled open their scab.... Gross!! My roommate and I thought the room was lovely. We had a view of the hills even though we were on the first floor. It was very clean and the front counter staff was efficient and knowledgeable. While the layout of the room was a little odd (no closet), it was workable. The only problem was that the hotel is on a state route that leads to Lake Elsinore […] and the traffic on Friday afternoon was horrible. I ran over from my event and instead of taking me 45 minutes, it took almost 2 hours. I understand that the hotel is not responsible for the traffic but I wish they had some kind of warning. We spent two days whale watching and kayaking in Dana Point. Rooms right in Dana Point were about twice as much. Staying here saved a lot of money and we were only a few minutes told own the road.

We stayed 3 nights as they were prepaid. The slider to our room did not lock, but since the slider was technically not on ground level, we dealt with it. The bathroom could have been cleaner (false eyelashes from a prior guest were on the shower ledge). While the room itself was clean and comfortable, our overnight stay was jarred by having the room alarm clock come on at loud volume at 6 am when we had not touched the clock. After three attempts to stop the alarm in the darkened room, we finally unplugged it from the wall. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept in for a hotel. The location was convenient to everywhere we needed to be that weekend. The continental breakfast offered a nice variety of food to get us going for the day.

Good place to stay if you are going to be in the San Juan Capistrano / Dana Point area. The room was clean and quiet, but the price seemed a little on the high side, even for a last minute booking. This particular place has a gas station and Denny's very close.

I wish there had been mention of the pool being out of service. Also, I believe it was listed as a non-smoking hotel. I wish there were restrictions for outside the rooms as well. I also got a huge wiff of stale smoke walking past one of the staff rooms.

Hotel and Staff were great, unfortunately, the couple in the adjacent room argued loudly until 3 in the morning. Even though the bed was comfortable, sleeping under those circumstances was not easy.

Best thing is that they sell soda, water and beer VERY reasonably out of the cooler in their office so you can take one up to your room after a long day! Nice pool area, super convenient location and the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on in any hotel.

Location was convenient to freeway, shops, etc. Very quiet. Clean room. Easy check-in/check-out. Hairdryer was broken, no coffee pot (there was supposed to be one) and sliding glass door to balcony did not lock (lock was broken). Even with these mishaps, I would recommend staying here. Nice simple place for price.

Two major problems. 1- The blankets on the bed. We had to get up in the middle of the night and remake the bed because the covers didn't cover us any more. 2- The shower head did not give out enough water to take a shower.
