Great value
The hotel has a great location - 30 min walk to all major tourist attractions or easy 15 min. by bus or metro. And yet it's clean and quiet

Good choice for an overnight stay near Termini
I chose this hotel mainly because it was an overnight stay near Termini station. I had to catch a flight the next day and I wanted something close to Termini so that I could catch the Leonardo Express train the next day. This hotel is a few meters away from one of the main exits Termini station has, so it was great to move around with luggage. Hotels around there are not usually very cheap and I went for something good enough to spend the night. At around 70€ it was good value for that price considering that location. The bathroom was small, but the shower was tiny, I couldn't even spread my elbows because I'd hit the side walls. At least the shower compartment could be closed so water wouldn't spill all over the bathroom.

Just a few steps from the Termini station, very convenient for checking in, dropping off luggage and then moving about Rome. The room was basic but nice with a large bed and tiny bathroom (as is usual in many European hotels). The check-in was smooth but unusually abrupt and unfriendly. I had no need to chat or ask questions, but a greeting would have been nice instead of barked orders. During the night I had to call to have my air-conditioning turned on (somehow it turned off during the evening and there is no control in the room), the person at reception was very abrupt, unapologetic, and hung up on me after saying, "it's on." The general tone and lack of professionalism was more strange and unusual than maddening. The next morning the same person was somewhat friendlier, actually said "buon giorno" in response to mine and a good-bye when I left. The other staff seemed friendly and kind. Breakfast had minimal offerings compared to many Italian hotel breakfasts, but they offered a good made-to-order cappuccino and friendly service in the breakfast room. Overall, it's a very good base for a short trip to Rome, conveniently located and easy to find.

Great Hotel - Vatican Stinks
This hotel is super close to the train station which is great. It is a 1-mile walk to the Colosseum, Capitol, etc. The breakfast in the morning is great! The cleaning lady was superb! Very friendly. it had a small shower with a shower curtain....EEEEWWWWW! I hate shower curtains. It would blow and touch me in the shower. ICK! Other than that, nice place to stay. I would stay again. Sidenote: The Vatican tour is infuriating! You queue for about 4 hours to buy tickets. Then, you are herded like cattle through a maze of hallways. You can't go faster of slower than the group and you can't go straight to the Sistine Chapel. They have guards everywhere that MAKE you go through the whole #@!* place and follow in line. So, plan on an entire day with sweaty, stinky people all around you, to pay WAY TOO MUCH and then be herded through tight hallways that are morbidly hot and stinky. When you FINALLY get to the Sistine Chapel, you can't even enjoy it. You just want to get the #@*$ out as fast as possible. Good thing I was already not interested in being converted to Catholicism. This tour has the opposite effect!

4 Nights in Rome
I've travelled to different countries and to Rome a few times so this review is more of my Hotel Corot experience. The hotel is about 2 min away from Termini if you exit on the via Marsala side. There are various stores nearby where you can buy drinks, quick snack, etc. and of course there are all the stores inside Termini. Corot hotel seems to be shared by Hotel Remini. Room has an aircon which is centrally controlled. We always have to call to get the aircon turned on. The room is really a two bed room which they turned into a three bed using a pull away couch. Beds are not very comfortable but servicable, has clean sheets. The bathroom is decent size with a shower, they have free toiletries and even offer a toothbrush. TV is about 19" but I didnt come to Rome to watch TV. The lift can fit three people but it works. The internet works in our room and signal is strong. Breakfast had a variety of choices which would probably cost us about 20 euros if we ate the same amount of food outside. Room tax will need to be paid in cash. Overall I'd rate this hotel a 3.5 stars for its location to Termini, room cleanliness and breakfast.
