Would not recommend. No free breakfast like advertised . Extra charge for parking very rude service desk.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Room was clean but bathroom was in need of repairs"
The room was clean but the bathroom needed some repairs. They are remodeling now so hopefully this will be fixed soon. Do not eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant (The Grille) unless you want to spend $$$. Breakfast included normal items found at free breakfasts at other hotels but it cost $35 for two people at the Grille!!! The location is nice though...less […] than 30 minutes walk from Turner Field. "Review of Capitol Park Hotel"
The hotel service and the room were definitely satisfactory. No complaints at all. The staff was exceptionally friendly and supportive. The shuttle service was not acceptable at all. The vans did not ride on the hour and half as we were told. The shuttle cell phones are filled with voice messages. If you call for service, you may not get an answer and […] the phone will go to the VM. There are not enough drivers for the number of people attending events in the area. Two people sat in the trunk area of the vehicle just to make it to the event on time. The shuttle vans are run down and dirty. It is not acceptable for customers of the hotel. "Great access to the Braves stadium"
Asked for a refrigerator never received one. Great undergrond parking. Love the pool.Genuine Expedia guest review
The pillows were clumpy and we had an issuse the the hot water; sometimes it would take 25 mins to heat up. The elevators took forever as well considering the size of the hotel and that there were 4 of them.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Dated hotel awesome staff"
The front desk staff was great and respective to our needs. Shuttle service was timely and Mike the shuttle drive was very friendly and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
I wasn't happy about the surcharge fee and paying for nightly parking was even more. My bill ended up 200 over the quoted price for hotels.com. I could have stayed elsewhere for a lower rate. Hotel was nice and close to Braves game, so that helped.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good reasonably priced hotel"
Arrived for a conference at GWCC. Though the location wasn't very close, the hotel shuttle transported me and our large group daily both to and from the conference, as well as in the nearby locations. The room was clean, front-desk service was good. I had no complaints during my stay!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel itself is fine, undergoing so renovations"
The hotel is fine, staff is nice, no problems on the visit. Some floors are being renovated and the construction groups were using an elevator so getting up and down sometimes required a short wait for an elevator. Surrounding area, apart from being right next to Turner Field, isn't great.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not the worst hotel I've stayed at but....."
I'll keep it simple and straight. Room smelled like bleach from the previous clean but the bed was comfortable and it had hot water for showers. I was attending a workshop at the hotel so it made sense to stay here for convenience. The restaurant "Rockfish Grill" is what made this place horrible. 2 dinners, 1 breakfast, and 1 lunch. While the food was […] good, the service messed up every order. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel that needs to improve housekeeping"
This hotel was close enough to my conference at the Congress Center convention facility to be practical. The staff at the hotel is very polite and pleasant. The hotel's restaurant and bar, while not fancy, are fine. The overall look and functioning of the hotel is slightly worn, but really it's OK. However, when I returned late at the end of the 2nd […] of my four day trip to Atlanta I walked in to a room that hadn't been cleaned, bed not made, no fresh towels or toiletries, etc. I reported this to the apologetic and gracious desk staff and manager the following morning who made assurances that this would be taken care of. Bottom line: when I checked out on morning four I was complaining again about the fact that the hotel's housekeeper hadn't visited my room even once during my 3 night stay. Fortunately I was traveling alone and the supply of towels lasted me sufficiently. By the way, while I think the hotel is fine, overall, I highly recommend guests avoid my room, #212: while there was a supply of coffee there, there was no coffee maker - while there was a holder for them, there was no iron or ironing board... worst of all, the room shares a wall with the hotel's beverage vending machines and I heard the loud noise of heavy plastic bottles falling through the vending machines all night. Enough said? Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Great locacation,we were able to get anywhere we wanted by walking even the subway for farther places despite a complimentary hotel shuttle. Great view of the city, state capitol and Turner Field out our windwow. Nice lobby, rooms modest but clean however renovation was underway on the top floor yet it was no hinderance to us at all. Although fine now […] this is going to be an even better destination stay when completed. I definitely recommend this hotel,I would use it again,so glad we stayed. "Great location but fell short of expectations."
Overall not a bad hotel for a quick one or two night stay. All the issues I had were what I call "first world problems" but hotels are a service based industry and are judged on that service. Compared to some lower priced hotels Capital Park fell short in my opinion and here are some of those reasons. 1. I was greeted by a lady who seamed a bit annoyed […] that I was checking in, not the best way to start the stay. 2. No remote for TV. 3. The absence of any normal documentation you would find such as info about surrounding area, room service menu, channel guide ect. 4. It's nice that there was a restaurant but the food is less than desirable. 5. It took a long time to get any hot water in the shower. 6. The AC did not work well, it was freezing or hot, the temp setting did not work properly.7. The furnishings in the lobby were dirty. On the positive side, the shuttle drivers were great and is a nice service. The bar staff was pleasant as well as the house keeping staff. The room was clean but a bit rough such as nicks, dings and big scratches in the furniture. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Nice hotel close to downtown ATL. Extremely slow elevators.Genuine Expedia guest review
They are remodeling…or the signs say. The hotel was in need of a facelift in the rooms. A little dated with more than a little paint could help. As with many hotels the food is ridiculously priced; the breakfast was around $20 a person, which is more than I pay when at a national conference hotel. The staff were the best part of the visit. The shuttle […] service is great, but the van is in need of more than a facelift. The shuttle needs to be retired, really, no AC or door panels? The staff I say, kept this review from tanking. Good location for a ballgame, but not sure what the hotel will offer once the stadium moves. Keep up the idea of repairs, it is in need of them. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"It had A/C so it was perfect for me!"
It was awesome it had A/C. I went for a conference and the shuttle dropped me off and picked me up! The food was great and I was greeted by two lovely ladies. AND it is literally right next to Turner field. I loved it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This hotel was the best place I have ever had the pleasure of staying which, I will recommend travelers to stay when visiting Atlanta. The staff makes you feel comfortable during your stay and will inform of events the hotel is is hosting. I will stay again. Thank you Capital Park Hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great place to stay!"
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We came on a pleasure trip to see the Braves play. I stayed at this hotel many years ago. We used Expedia and got really good rates. The hotel was clean and inviting. The bathroom was larger than normal bathrooms and the beds weren't as hard as other hotels. I was very impressed with this hotel once again. Our shuttle […] bus driver, Mr D was 100% helpful and he was a pleasure to ride with. He had a wealth of knowledge about the are and was very helpful when we wanted to know something about the city. Although I don't like big cities, the location of this hotel was very convienant and easy to find/get to. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We've stayed here several times for braves games. Always been pleased.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was comfortable and clean. Location was ok. One thing they do not tell you on the hotel write up is that they charge parking fee of 18.00 to park your vehicle. One good thing is that they do provide a shuttle service to all city attractions in a three mile radius. The lounge and restaurant are very expensive so plan according.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Cute Hotel close to down town. Affordable, will stay again when im in townGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Near downtown and turner feild"
Great for young people who want to visit downtown without spending downtown prices.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel was in a perfect location for my events. Employees were very friendly, and attentive. Didn't understand why we should pay for parking when we are stayin in that hotel. That was really the only down fall about this hotel. Other than that, I wouldn't mind staying in this place again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Okay, you get what you pay for."
Convenient to Turner Field but nothing else close by. No real food options. The beds were hard but the staff was nice. Parking was steep at $18 a night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was in a good location. I didn't like that you had to pay for parking on top of paying for your room and I think that the pool area needs to be updated. Other than that the hotel was a nice hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to everything"
Great location, my parents were in town and I booked it for them. Clean staff was friendly. Shuttle took my parents and picked them up from wherever they needed to go. The only complaint which would prevent me from booking this hotel again is that you have to pay $18.00 per day to park and any guest that you have they also have to pay $10 every 2 hours […] to park. That isn't good at all, they need to fix that. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The guests in another room was noisy, the bathroom sink leaked, the morning front desk clerk was not professional and there is an $18.00 fee for parking.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is under renovation, however, it's in a great location for easy access to downtown, sweet auburn, turner field, etc. yet I still had to drive as MARTA isn't nearby. I can't wait til the renovations are completed. I would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
It was great. We found this hotel in internet and was the best we could get, for it's location and price. All the employees were just great, very nice and ready to please us at all times.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We had a very pleasant stay on a busy holiday weekend. The Braves played at home, so traffic was tough- we were thankful for the hotels shuttle service. It was great!Genuine Expedia guest review

"hotel will be out of business when the braves move"
I think that you should let your quests know in advance that you will be charging them to park at the hotel. also we paid $16.50 for the breakfast buffet and when we sat down to eat there was not one thing on the buffet and this was at 10:20 a.m. Also while sitting outside, a total of 4 bums came up to us and wanted money, i think you need to provide […] security at all times. "Perfect for Bravea game"
My boyfriend and I spent a night to go to the Braves game. The room was clean and everything looked good. Air worked great. Staff was nice. It was a short easy walk tp Turner field. Only bad part was paying $18 to park. I have never paid to park at a hotel!Genuine Expedia guest review
Not too bad for the price. The hotel has everything from restaurant, pool, gym, spa and a small bar. It is not in the center of town but there is a convenient shuttle service operating from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. that takes you to center of town and to most popular landmarks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, close to Turner Field"
I stayed for 5 nights. I found the hotel very nice and one of the few hotels in Atlanta that is walking distance to turner field. Not too far of a walk to the Marta either. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
Staff in your restaurant were a little untrained and/or inexperienced in serving experience. Other than that the stay was excellent!! I won't be staying at any other hotel any time I go to a braves game!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Braves Stadium"
Picked the hotel for the convenience to the Braves Stadium after being on the road all day. Hotel is older but is kept up. Bar/Lounge excessively loud after a Braves win. Rockfish Grill food was good but retaurant and hotel are both severly understaffed. Be aware that there is a separate parking fee added on to the cost of your stay which was surprising […] since most travelers have to park a vehicle and normally do not pay a separate charge for parking on the premises. "Excellent location to Turner field. 10 minute walk"
I have stayed here on several occasions. Air Conditioners are a little loud in the rooms but overall not a bad place to stay. Elevators can be pretty slow and wait times can be long when returning from the game. Staff was excellent and courteous.Genuine Expedia guest review
"it's close to Turner Field.......that's about all"
Hotel is close to Turner Field. They know this and price the rooms as such. When Turner closes this hotel will close as well. It pretty much is the only reason they are open I would bet. Do not go to "restaurant" in the hotel. It's basically freezer food that costs more than Outback or Longhorn. The elevators are a joke. No service elevator for housekeeping […] so you're stuck fighting a elevator with hotel's employees and their carts and buggies. The A/C unit in my room barely got it below 75 the whole time. We were on the top floor so I assume that is the reason but at 250 a night I shouldn't have to suffer for that. There is no fridge or microwaves in the rooms so do not bring drinks or food that need it. If you are going to a Braves game and you want a nearby hotel this is one of your few options but do not think it is anything more than a glorified Motel 6. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel Extremely Close to Turner Field"
Nice Clean Rooms and friendly staff. The bar and the restaurant was nice as well. Pool is on the roof of the 2nd floor and there was no microwave or refrigerator in our room, so that was a little deceiving but everything else was great!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Turner Field"
When i go to Braves games I love this hotel. Walking distant to the field. I however would not stay here if I was only going to Atlanta for something. It is an older hotel, walls are thin, but rooms are spacious and clean. Also if you need/want a fridge and microwave call ahead not all rooms come with them. They have a shuttle that will take you into […] downtown Atlanta, but I have never used it. It does get loud after games but they are pretty good about noise after 11pm.
